Hello from Lake Garda! (Patreon)

Hello everyone 😊

I usually post my weekly Patreon video on a Wednesday, but I spent all of today driving to Lake Garda, where I’ll be filming the first couple of episodes of the new vlog with Oliver. I’m settled into the beautiful Lido Palace, where I’d booked the cheapest room (presumably in the attic facing the road) but I’ve been upgraded to a junior suite with a lake view! This is the view from my palatial room. It seems like a very auspicious start for this new project!

I just met Oliver, Camilla & their two girls for pizza, and everyone is very well and excited to start work. Whilst Camilla won’t be filming with us, she’s very enthusiastic and has done the lion’s share of the ‘behind the scenes’ planning, whilst Ollie and I focused on researching the artists and poets we’re going to be vlogging about.

It’s too late for me to start filming now, but I will make your weekly video here in Riva very soon. I’ve uploaded tomorrow’s Chateau Diaries, which will premiere at the usual time on YouTube tomorrow.
