I'm on my way back to Lalande from Lake Garda at the moment, and hope to arrive by tomorrow afternoon. In the meantime, I wanted you all to have the first sneak peak of my trip! Love to you all from an Italian motorway service station!

My mother in law would always thank me for posting photos on ig and fb. She says it’s “armchair traveling “ for her. It’s been especially hard for senior citizens to move about due to the pandemic. She says it’s as though we have taken her with us to the different places we’ve photographed. She lives in Yorkshire and we live in Vancouver. Like you Stephanie, she is an English rose. Thank you for posting pictures and vlogging. You certainly take us with you in your travels.

Hey Stephi/ Nati - I watched the Fortuny video and was entranced. I also had a look at Michael's photographs - they are stunning but do not fit my home decor. I would certainly like to support Michael's art and purchase something from him but the pics displayed were not something I could use in my kitchen, living room or dining room. Does he have pics of flowers, fruits or black and whites of buildings so I can frame one and put it in one of my rooms? Thanks

We were driving through a hilltop village In Sicily once at harvest time. We passed an olive mill and I jumped out and ran in asking to buy a bottle. The handsome Italian took a litre bottle out of a crate and gave it to me refusing my money. Fresh pressed oil, so spicey, but like nectar.

Thank you so much. We usually spend a lot of time on Lake Como in the Summer and I miss it so much. Trapped in NY. Garda is very renowned for olives and lemons. Has a micro climate I believe. I guess you were there for Ferrogosto. Big deal. And Happy Birthday!!!!

Us as patrons I believe mostly understand her current time crunches; and given a choice between a late YouTube vlog or a delayed Patreon vlog I’d take a delayed Patreon vlog every time. The quality and content of Stephanie’s main vlog is after all what keeps new viewers and supporters coming to the community. ok so i have just researched it and basically.... no way to get from la lande to lake garda but to drive😶 unless of course we can get someone to lend her their plane.... sigh...well technically a helicopter AND a plane.... a helicopter to get to the airport and then a plane then another heli... when all isbsaid and done we could get our Stephanie there in about 3.5-4ish hrs...a respectable time really. It would also make a suitable entrance 🌞 better than those fancy cars. Of course she would have to start weighting the hems of her dresses 😂😂 like the queen or.... it would be a very french show indeed.... but yes... we should work on that... 🥂🎁🎂

Vicki Sims Has anyone found a good way to watch 'Escape to the Chateau DIY' here in the US that is of good quality? I can't seem to find it anywhere. I cannot even buy anything. Plus what I find on YouTube has VERY out of sync audio (pretty much unwatchable). Which I suspect is due to them trying to avoid copyright infringements. I am not in every comment thread but I am sure this is a common question. I'm sorry if it's annoying.

So, I haven’t even finished watching the 2016 documentary “The Gardener” about Frank Cabot before I felt I needed to stop and share with all of you, It is so damn good. This documentary oozes inspiration for what the grounds of LaLande could be. Pure magic, I highly recommend watching. It is free to stream for Amazon prime members.
