Great to see some of the local sites and places important to you! Congrats on the $20K target-- we're excited to see what this means for the chateau. And I'm so looking forward to your other channels coming to fruition as well.

Anonymous

What a beautiful blog. And what good news about the 20k! I can't wait to see what you choose to do. Speaking of vlogs, such good news about yours and Oliver's. With all yours and the one's with Michael and Oliver I will have so many lovely evenings ahead. Don't wear yourself out, too many folks depend on you. Much love and admiration to you all

Anonymous

Oh, and my name is Virginia, but nobody ever called me that but Mother and Daddy all my friends and family call me Ginny. Can't wait for the next vlog from laLande and on your photo trip with Oliver!

Anonymous

Congratulations 2000! So wonderful! What a wonderful mini break!

Anonymous

That was fascinating! Thank you for sharing your hometown with us. I can’t wait to see you and Oliver together again. This channel is keeping me alive during the never ending lockdown here in the USA. Love to all.

Anonymous

Loved this video. Congrats on hitting the 20K so fast. I am so happy for Stephanie. You and Oliver will be great together. I love his interview with Stephanie and loved how he film Steph when she had her Financial White Board. lol The lake vidoe was also great. Your 30 year friendships comes through on camera. Michael P. lives 5 hours away........might be hard to do regular videos with him?

Anonymous

Wow! I so enjoyed that tour of your home town! I grew up in South Wales and have never been out east. Thank you for the history lesson. I attended a Ed Sheeran ❤️ concert here in Toronto last year. Your videos are always so interesting and pack a wide variety of subjects into each vlog. Stephanie you are simply amazing at all the things that you do. 💜🇨🇦😍🎶🥂

Anonymous

Congratulations on the latest milestone, Stephanie! The new channel with Oliver sounds so interesting. Looking forward to seeing it in the fall.

Anonymous

Hi Jesse, I haven’t seen him share anything before the reveal on Stephanie’s channel. It’s a hard balance though as there are lots of people involved in all the projects and they are rightfully proud of their contributions, and are active on different social media platforms. Also, it may become difficult to keep track and avoid unintentional spoilers now that there are several vloggers who frequent Lalande. I view it as a nice treat for those of us who follow the whole ‘family’ and have keen eyes ☺️

Anonymous

Lovely message with scenes of your hometown. As always, great to see Gerry. Have fun creating with Oliver. I can't wait to see the results.. $20K and climbing. Great work Lalande patrons.

Anonymous

Love hearing that news about the Oliver vlog adventures! Looking forward to the 20K target vote and further magical transformations 🥰

Anonymous

Wonderful update! It's always nice to see the places that helped form a person. I am so happy to hear that Oliver is moving ahead creating his own channel. I can't wait to see where the two of you end up and learn a lot from both of you along the way. Do you have any special plans for your birthday? Whatever you end up doing, I hope you are surrounded by people who love you and you enjoy every moment of it!

Anonymous

Framlingham is lovely. Thanks so much for taking us along on your trip. I hope you had time to rest and relax. It's wonderful to hear you'll be starting a new channel with Oliver- I LOVED the trip to Monet's painting spot and now we'll get to see lots more! And great news that you'll still be going ahead with your channel with Michael. The two of you have very special chemistry and there are few people who can make the kind of magic you did with those Advent vlogs. I'm not sure how you'll have time to sleep or anything else but I'm really looking forward to all the great youtube videos. Oh and HUGE CONGRATULATIONS on hitting $20,000!

Anonymous

Wonderful vlog. Thank you making it and sharing it with us. Every time I watch anything you post I think of future historians and what a wonderful time capsule you’re creating. 🥰

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear. But a miniature glimpse into Stephanie’s young years. Thank you for sharing your town, food, views & memories with us! So much history to grow up with unlike here in the States. I love strolling through cemeteries. Did you ever do that when you were younger? Read the stones & wonder what that person was like or how they seen the same town when alive? CONGRATS on the $20k!! LaLande is so fortunate to have you! At the end I see we share the same bumpy roads in the US as your town does 🕳 🚙 🕳 🚗 🕳 😂

Evelyn McElroy

Excellent! I know Framingham, Massachusetts well and would love to visit Framlingham. Congratulations on hitting 20K.

Anonymous

how do i see old behind the scenes vlogs ? HELP💕

Anonymous

Not sure what you mean by behind the scenes vlogs... YouTube has all of Stephanie’s videos. You can view by upload date or her playlists of the different type of vlog. If you mean all the old Patreon content, it should all be listed under this post or search Stephanie’s name in Patreon for all the exclusive posts.

Anonymous

Stephanie, you are a wonderful host and story-teller!! I absolutely enjoy visiting new places with you and looking forward new content like that! Your videos have a great balance of history, natural surroundings and things to do. Not to mention how positive they are (and you, of course too). I miss European summers and I can't wait to visit some of these places someday. Cheers from Los Angeles.

Anonymous

Can't wait for the vlog with Oliver! You were so great together in the blog about Monet. You compliment each other well and I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Anonymous

Oh Stephanie xxx Godbless You... You have the biggest kindest ❤️ II for one appreciate All the lengths you go to to indulge us Your Patreons... Another wonderful video, thank you for sharing. We had 9 weeks in the UK in 2018 but unfortunately we didn’t see everything and we still have so many more places to visit so I will put Framingham straight on the Bucket List - it looks lovely and so very English. What a lovely area to have grown up in. Very excited to hear about your new channel with Oliver - it was easy to see that he was really starting to enjoy himself in the videos, original nervousness was replaced with charm and a relaxed engaging style. I am so excited to see you first images from Lake Garda. After originally having just a brief visit to the little town of Sirmione in 2007 the possibility of a return trip to Lake Garda became my incentive and motivation as we worked through the terrible impacts of the GFC on our business. After selling the business in 2014 the first trip we booked was to Italy & France. We started with two weeks at Lake Garda, staying at a wonderful little apartment just outside of the walls of Lazise. I fell in love and I think this is my spiritual home, watching the sunset over the lake, visiting the little towns which surround the lake and drinking aperol spritz at the side walk bars. Unfortunately now with the travel restrictions I wonder if another long trip to Europe will ever be possible (Australia has still closed it’s international borders) so for now at least I will look forward to seeing your new channel and having an Italian holiday vicariously through your travel. Please stay safe and well and I congratulate you on finding so much beauty in the world and for sharing it. 💐🇦🇺💕

Anonymous

What an absolutely lovely little town 💙

Anonymous

Wonderful video. It was lovely to see where you grew up and to see Gerry. I am so excited to hear that you and Oliver will be bringing us the sights, food and sounds of Europe. With no travel imminent it will be such a treat to look forward to this new channel and your upcoming vlogs with Michael around the France. Congratulations on 20k!!!!

Anonymous

I always learn so much from you. Framlingham is a gorgeous little town. Thank you for the tour and I also look forward to the new YouTube Channel with Oliver, it sounds wonderful. Both of you make great presenters.

Anonymous

This was great, it is so special that you do these Patreon shows. and so looking forward to watching Oliver's adventures. Thank you, Thank you Thank you, you so deserve all the followers and Patreons.

Anonymous

So awesome Stephanie- how wonderful that your fathers art is represented in Framingham. You a Gerry always have a a blast together, whether it’s bacon butties or haute cuisine. Looking forward to some fun and stimulating vlogs in your collaboration with Oliver. ❤️❤️

Anonymous

Oh, so happy to see this, wish I had found it sooner! Ha ha! Framingham I know it well, as We used to to have a place in Boston and currently live on the South Shore Cape Cod. My own English ancestor was from a place not too far from Framlingham Groton, and he became the first gov of Massachussets Bay Colony (Winthrop my maiden name)

Anonymous

What a beautiful place. Thank you for sharing it..

Anonymous

Oh, I loved seeing Framlingham and now knowing where you and Gerry grew up. That was very special. I think the idea of you and Oliver doing a series of vlogs from around Europe is brilliant. I can't wait to see them. What exciting times!! And congratulations on meeting the $20,000.00. goal! Well deserved for sure!!

Anonymous

It’s a beautiful town. When I went to school in Erie, Pennsylvania, there was nothing so lovely as visiting medieval castles. We did visit Philadelphia, Washington, DC, and traveled about 16 states as a family. My sister lives in Yorkshire with her husband and loves visiting the stately homes and castles. It’s good to see you refreshed and filled with exciting plans but do be safe!

Anonymous

A wonderful place. Thanks for sharing x

Anonymous

Ecstatic to hear about the channel with Oliver. I loved the Monet video so much 😍

Anonymous

Thank you so much for another wonderful video. I wonder if you have any idea the joy you bring to people all over the world. We have very little history in Australia, so seeing places like this is like a fairytale for me. I can only hope one day I will visit England and France myself. But in the meantime you make me feel like I am there. I can't thank you enough!

Anonymous

My many times great grandmother Susannah North Martin was put on trial and hanged in Salem at the witch trials in 1692.

Georgette Jones

Enjoyed seeing where you grew up, I thought you and Gerry came from Glasgow?

Anonymous

Looking forward to the vlogs with Oliver! Especially that here in Australia we are not going to be able to travel for a while so traveling Europe through the eyes of another person will be great. Before the Pandemic I often visited my brother in the UK but have never been to Framlingham. It’s now on the ‘To Do’ list when international travel is permitted here again!

Anonymous

Wonderful video Stephanie! What a lovely town. :) It’s so wonderful to see that Jerry’s taxi business has survived the ‘uber’ age. I’m sure he has lots of devoted clients with that fantastic personality of his!😀

Anonymous

Wow- what a village and trip. How amazing to have grown up there. I am so looking forward to seeing your new adventure with Oliver. Thank you

Anonymous

Thank you! Thank you

Anonymous

Oh, this video was wonderful. What a great gift to your patrons! And very excited for Oliver's vlogs!

Anonymous

All That food look so good!!! miam!

Anonymous

I'm so so excited and honored to be able to see where you come from! This was such a treat, and I just loved the video. Thank you!!

Anonymous

Oh, that was wonderful! Thank you for the delightful tour!

Anonymous

Thank you for a nostalgic back to Fram! I told Gerry that my uncle lived at Sunflower Farm in Badingham until a few years ago. I remember the ironmonger’s shop in Framlingham as a wonderful source of treasures. So glad you had a nostalgic visit.

Anonymous

I love your relationship with Gerry! You two are so different but you can see the love! It’s like your his sister and his little girl! Congratulations on the 20k! I’ve jumped up tiers twice now I get so excited with all you are doing that I just want to give more! I adore Oliver and I’m excited you’ll be doing a channel together. I studied business in college but in as many electives as I could, I took art history and architecture. (Weird combo, mom wanted practicality and I wanted art). I’ll throw in one more time for satellite service or repeaters for your internet service. A consultant should have some solution! It will make a huge difference in your life and the productivity gains it will give everyone would be significant! Best to you! Please stay safe with your travels! I think I speak for everyone when I say we want to keep you safe and healthy! You’re a ray of sunshine!

Anonymous

Wonderful news! So pleased to hear that Oliver is forging ahead with an art and travel vlog. You two will be a very dynamic duo! And the $20,000 goal...Woohoo and congratulations! I do have a question which must seem random in this thread, but it has been on my mind. I am wondering what the plans are to address the water pressure issue. It seems as though so much work in the gardens and grounds depends upon correcting the problem there. Is there any news on this topic?

Anonymous

Oh, Oliver’s doing a channel - how wonderful! Can’t wait!! :) Loved the glimpse in your hometown...what a lovely spot. Hope to visit one day...and of course, I need to take a ride with Gerry’s taxi service...maybe get him to tell a story or two along the way. :)

Anonymous

What a charming place to grow up in! Thank you for sharing!

Anonymous

Enjoyed this little break to England! Congratulations on 20k! And will be looking forward to the new channels with both Michael and Oliver! Gerry is always great fun miss his humor. Love all the history and love your travels. So happy for the chateau can't wait to see the progress! Love, k

Anonymous

I wanted to tell you how excited I was to get my postcard and note from Lalande, I got a thrill out of seeing the beautiful art and handwriting, it's so rare to get something personally handwritten anymore, I am going to frame it.

Anonymous

What a beautiful little town you grew up in! The Barbie cake was perfection. It looks like you had a lovely break from Lalande. Thank you for giving us a tour. Congrats on reaching $20,000. I saw it last night and actually squealed in delight. It's only been 7 DAYS!!! I'm so happy for you!! I'm also very happy that you and Oliver will be collaborating on a new channel. I so enjoyed the vlogs that you have made together, so getting to spend more time with you two will be an absolute treat. I wanted to ask if either of you have ever visited any exhibits for the cave paintings of the Lascaux Cave, found in the Dordogne region of southwestern France? I saw an exhibit about it in Chicago some years ago and was absolutely fascinated by it. The exhibit included a bust of an indigenous woman that was the facial reconstruction of a skull found near the caves in Dordogne. She was so pretty. I must have stared at her for a good half hour, half wondering, half hoping she had a good peaceful life. Anyway, I thought it would be neat to see the area come to life on your vlog, if you and Oliver are up for it. I don't think many people know much about the indigenous people that lived in France 20,000 years ago, or the beautiful cave paintings they created. I don't suppose anyone thought to create a toile depicting that either. Wouldn't that be something? Love you bunches, Stephanie. Can't wait to see your next post. <3

Jana Miranda

Congratulations on 20K and thank you for showing us Framlingham! I can't wait to see what you and Oliver come up with. I have to admit to a bit of a preference for Oliver-centric vlogs - he's exactly the kind of guy I would have been friends with in school. I must say that I'm a bit envious of Ed Sheeran's parents - not for having such a talented son, but for being frequent passengers in Gerry's taxi. :D

Anonymous

Hi Stephanie! I’m so excited for you. Of course about the 20k, but also for your upcoming channels. You truly have a gift and talent for this. I’m so happy for you💕

Ramon

Omg, this sign is so your father!

Anonymous

Great job.

Anonymous

Wow! What a treat! So looking forward to the new upcoming channels. You guys are rocking it!! 🎉🎉Congratulations on all fronts!!🎉🎉

Anonymous

Love these patreon only vids, thanks so much for showing us a taster of your life there. Good luck with your new venture with Oliver. 💕

Anonymous

I actually am obsessed with Sirmione. I lived in Val Gardena for two years and we made a point to visit Hotel Ideal often. Just magical.

Anonymous

We used to take our caravan to the castle and often visit Framlingham now with my grandchildren.

Anonymous

Congratulations 🎉🥳👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽♥️❤️💕

Anonymous

Love your twist on the sheeran parents. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

Anonymous

Stephanie you and Ed should have a duet! He is such a nice guy. My friends saw him in a bar and asked if they can have a selfie with him and he happily obliged.

Anonymous

Double delight! You and Oliver talking about wonderful things... pinch me I'm dreaming!

Anonymous

Stephanie I think the $20,000 target reflects just how much your chateau , family and friends and channel have helped people through this difficult time. You are a true source of joy and inspiration to many all round the world. That must seem so overwhelming for you to understand completely but you really have made lockdown bearable. Coral from Australia 🐨💕

Anonymous

First of all WOW reaching the 20,000 target. So well deserved. secondly thank you so much for sharing your childhood home. I so enjoyed it, really interesting and how lovely to be with Gerry too. What a brilliant idea that you and Oliver have look forward to that and of course when you and Michael manage to do about chateaux. Glad you are home safe and well xx

Anonymous

What a delightful place Framlingham is!? I love the old timbered houses. Thank you for a wonderful glimpse of your old hometown. Lovely to see Gerry too! X

Anonymous

Oh thank you Stephanie and Gerry so enjoyed a little trip to Suffolk, such a beautiful historic town x

Anonymous

Thankyou so much Stephanie for sharing sites and history of Framingham. Such a beautiful place. I’m wildly excited for your next project with Oliver. Congratulations 🍾🎉🥳 on reaching 20,000 target.

Anonymous

Congratulations on reaching the $20,000 target so fast! Well deserved I might add! Loved the great news that you and Oliver are collaborating on the cuisine and arts of a Europe. What a fun project you have put together. I’m sure it will be a Huge Hit! I enjoyed the visit to your hometown of Framingham, the history and the views were delightful. Nostalgic moments for me, as it has many similarities to my hometown of Andover, Hampshire. And Gerry was his inimitable, lovable self! Your hallmarks of Love, Life and Laughter are evident in all you do. Best Wishes Stephanie, have the most wonderful times on your travels, as LaLande continues it’s Magical Renaissance.

Anonymous

Congrats on 20k!! This community is truly amazing and one can’t underestimate your and Laland’s ability to attract a wonderful crowd! Well done ☺️🌺❤️ Never imagine myself being a devoted YouTube subscriber 😅but you’re truly inspirational and I find it incredible pleasurable watching your vlogg! 🦚 Thank you!

Anonymous

From a fellow Suffolk resident - it’s a beautiful county and it’s a wonderful tribute to Suffolk- still undiscovered by many You showed many of my favourite places. Loved the shots of Pin Mill where Arthur Ramsome lived for a while. I am the lady who made the Spode shopping bag which now hangs in the Kitchen of LaLande Love Suffolk , Ed Sheehan and love chateaux diaries and the work you do xxxxx

Anonymous

The thing I love the most about your present succes is how you were able to develop your vlogging due to confinement. In the middle of all this terrible mess something positive which brings joy to so many people stuck in tricky situations. This window into France and Chateau life and family and all the things you show and teach are an incredible help to people around the world. I am very happy to be your patron and contribute to this adventure, much love Stephanie

Anonymous

Well done with target.Looki forward to Oliver project.Framingham,as lovely as expected. No wonder Ed S,just stayed!

Anonymous

Hi Stephanie loved this video, I didn’t know Ed Sheeran sang about the castle in Framlingham, loved seeing Gerry there too, you do cheer me up with your vlogs, forever happy, it makes me smile thank you both luv Denise x

Lovely vlog Stephanie x

Anonymous

I was just showing my 86 year old Mother the first few Chateau Diaries and I've come home to find this. The first thing that struck me is how well you are formatting editing, presenting etc compared with the early days. The progress is a pleasure to behold - Both in the films and the Chateau de Lalande! Have you thought about getting a satellite system for Wifi? I have a feeling you've mentioned it in a previous film but as your time is clearly becoming more of a premium perhaps this should be looked into again? Thankyou to all of you at Lalande for keeping me entertained while I maintain my social distancing. Paul Barnett in Bristol

Anonymous

Wow, just loved this vlog, Framlingham looked so gorgeous, so envious about the starter menu, my type of food. It was lovely to see where Gerry lives and Isabelle’s home is. Congratulations on reaching your amazing target. Stephanie, it’s onwards and upwards from now on.

Anonymous

I'm so excited! I love seeing Oliver in the vlogs. Can't wait!!!

Anonymous

Wow, it seems there is a LARGE consensus that an upgrade/investigation to WiFi solutions is an important gift. 🤗

Anonymous

I'm so excited that you are starting a new channel with Oliver. He is such a lovely man and the two of you will make a great team. I hope Oliver will buy the house by the chateau. It would be great to see him doing it up x

Anonymous

That was a lovely vlog Stephanie. Suffolk is so beautiful. Really looking forward to the Ollie channel x

Anonymous

What an interesting insight into Framlingham, do hope you managed to recharge your batteries . The $20,000 target is an amazing achievement and having also watched the vlog of Isabelle trying to water the new fig tree - water is desperately needed💦💦to flow not dribble for the garden hopefully that could be added to the list of ‘To Do’ very soon🙂 I shall look forward to your new vlog with Oliver🎥🇮🇹. Thank you for your continued sharing of happiness and very interesting and inspiring vlogs🥰🥂🍾

Anonymous

What a pity we are visiting Lalande for 2 Days and you are not there 😢

Anonymous

Congratulations with the Goal ... That is fantastic :) I am looking forward to see more from you. Thanks for sharing all !!!! 💖💖💖

Anonymous

this was too good!

Anonymous

Well, are you sure it’s wise to leave Lalande for another project????

Anonymous

Framingham so beautiful in the sun it was dull and raining when I went to the castle and when we found the recommended pub for dinner it was closed so must try again! Love the video Stephanie thank you x

Anonymous

Lovely vlog! and congratulations on the hitting the $20,000 mark. I'm looking forward to all the new exciting vlogs with you and your friends, and especially the chapel restoration. My personal favorite of all ! :)

Anonymous

Fun fact I named one of my cats Fitzroy after Henry Fitzroy because he is such a fancy cat and my little prince 💕 hahah also i would love to visit Framingham so I can take photos of Fitzroy with Henry Fitzroy😂 and I love the idea of you and Oliver exploring food and art. I learned so much in the last video you two did and I’m excited for more

lottie

So nice to see parts of England. Was planning a trip there next year for my birthday but I am postponing for one more year sadly. Hope you relaxed. Looking forward to your trip with Oliver and his family. Hugs 🤗

Anonymous

I, too, hope something can be done about the water pipe to the garden. I loved the trip to England and enjoyed Gerry as usual. Now so excited about a vlog with Ollie! Love you all so much! Hugs from Memphis.

Anonymous

Oh Stephanie that is so exciting! I have watched many travel vlogs and yours is hands down the best. Most vloggers on Youtube just care about the aesthetics, scenery (and outfits) and not much about the culture and history. I learn so much from travel vlogs! I am looking forward to your new channel with Oliver and Michael. Sending warm tropical vibes from the Philippines. xo!

Anonymous

BTW I highly suggest that for the 20k goal, we get Steph a satellite internet connection or whatever is the best option for a good, stable internet for the Chateau. I work online and can't imagine the hassle of slow internet. I believe this should be a priority for Stephanie and the rest of the people in the chateau will benefit as well. :)

Anonymous

Lovely episode Stephanie - tbh I'd never heard of Framlingham but I loved seeing it and all the timber framed buildings and castle. The best bit was seeing Gerry's taxi business though - really made me smile,

Anonymous

Lovely video and so excited to hear about the plan you and Oliver have going on. Of course if Oliver and family owned the lovely property near the chateau which of course need tons of TLC, it would be fantastic... artists studio, gallery, seminars....My heart skipped a beat when you two came across that property....hint hint hint!

Anonymous

I can hardly wait to see what you post from Lake Garda! I vacationed there 2 summers ago, in Riva del Garda, and it was absolutely spectacular!

Alton Condra

Stephanie, have you noticed that ads are not running with your YouTube vlogs? The Facebook group has been discussing it.

Michelle Morrison

Since there wasn't a target set for 20k before it was reached - can it retroactively be: to fix the water situation in the garden?

Anonymous

Is Melody Dobson the author whose next book is based on LaLande?

Anonymous

It’s always nice to go home for a visit, memories are so sweet! Thank you for taking us along😘

Anonymous

How fun that Oliver and you will do vlogs together, a very good idea indeed. I agree with a person here that say your travel vlogs are the best, ALL your videos are in fact the best! No matter what you're talking about or whoever you have with you. Love listening to you, you don't have any annoying bits about you and you're just totally genuine. It helps also of course that all you're interests are things I'm interested in too...my favourite imaginary friend, heh he. In fact I only have two imaginary friends, you and Michael. If I was going to vote for any project it would be Selmar on the payroll. He's there forever, so he needs an income...perhaps he has one I don't know about mind. I think he ought to occasionally also do a vlog, chatting to us as he does up a chair, works in the garden, cycles or goes for a stroll...he is just excellent company and has the best voice. If Selmar didn't so obviously belong to Lalande, I would wish put him on my wishlist for Christmas. Otherwise, my wishes for Lalande are still Lake, Island in the lake, 3 rowing boats, and Pool. Then a bedroom called the Baroness Blue room, where everything is midnight blue and gold. The paintings on the wall there would only be of moonlight night motifs, and of course in heavy gold frames. And that is where I would stay when I come to visit Lalande, when it is possible to drink G&T by the pool and row to the island in the lake in moonlight. Thank you for lovely vlog as always, and that colour of blue of your dress is my favourite colour on you.

Anonymous

So much fun to see Suffolk, and you and Gerry there. Looking forward to Lake Garda posts. I usually live near Lake Como , and that is a magical place. Miss it so much. Fab about the 20,000!!

Anonymous

It was a pleasure to see where you grew up and to see Gerry there with you. I love the historical information you share not just in this video but in all of the ones you share. You mentioned the connection with the town in the US to your home. Where I live, and was raised, was originally named after the town of Twickenham in south west London. Unfortunately the name was changed in the 19th century to honor the founding father of the town. I wish it was still Twickenham. 😀 I must say I’ve always been very jealous of your ability to travel to other countries throughout Europe. Living across the pond it takes so much preparation and planning and time to go to just one country let alone 2 or more LOL. I look forward to your new adventures with the new You Tube Chanel! I absolutely love Oliver and can’t wait to see what you two will share.

Anonymous

I will absolutely subscribe to Oliver's new channel.

Anonymous

Hey Stephanie, Thank you for another lovely vlog, your presentation style is always so fresh and interesting. Ollie is lucky to have collaborate with him. I hope the new vlog goes well and have fun at Lake Garda and find lots of fun stuff to share with us.

Jana Miranda

I think it's her friend, Ruth Kelly. Ruth is also Michael Potts' partner.

Theresa Romero

That’s actually a Stephanie cake tin. 💗

Garrie and Cindy Garrison

We might need to clone you! The plans with Oliver sound just wonderful! Love him! And you!

Anonymous

Thank you so much for showing us around your old stomping ground. Great to see Gerry looking so wonderful. The history of the Castle was so interesting. We don't have things like that in North Queensland Australia !! Cant wait to see the channel that you and Oliver start up. I am a Europe freak and absolutely love anything to do with the Class System, History, Food and Champagne. Stay safe and hug your Mummy from me when its safe to do so. :-)

Anonymous

Stephanie, we dont get any adverts on your YouTube videos, just in case you didnt know, I've never been to Suffolk, but it looks works a visit in the future Thank you for sharing as always xxx

Anonymous

Hi what's happening with the last target please.

You do realise Lalande is probably the most sensible reality show available right now? Looking forward to you and Oliver's new channel. Interesting content with nice people makes Lalande viewing unmissible.

i know im greedy.... but waiting for the vlog too😳

Anonymous

thats what i thought? I dont know why there wouldnt be one tonight?

Anonymous

There is a message on the FB fan-site that the vlog will be on in about an hour (posted 17 minutes ago).

Anonymous

i dont remember her saying no vlog... and I dont see a post saying there is an issue.. i think the 20k think really needs to be a satelite uplink (so visually greedy beeches like me dont have to wait for their fix )

I’m so sorry about the late vlog! It’s rendering now and I’ll run out to upload it as soon as it’s finished. I was hoping to launch the Fortuny vlog today but spent too long working on it because I care about it so much! So, rather than rushing it I made a little extra vlog about the $20,000 celebrations at the last minute 🎉 The good news is that the Fortuny vlog is all made, I just have to put it together, so it will definitely be ready for next Sunday.

Thank you for all of your hard work! I'm new here and can't give much but happy to give what I can to such a beautiful place with people likewise beautiful in spirit. According to DNA results, I'm related to Louis XVI so it feels like I'm seeing a bit of the French countryside that I dream. Please don't push yourself too much...I know what burnout feels like and would not wish that for you. Lots of love from North Carolina!

Thank you for sharing a glimpse into your lovely childhood home. The kitchen in which you shared breakfast with Gerry, and later baked the Barbie cake, was so charming. Your father’s artwork on the sign conveys historical details so beautifully. How moving it must be for you each time you see it. I just know that Oliver’s vlog on the art, culture, and cuisine of Europe will be brilliant. You and Oliver were made for this. Stephanie, there has been a lot of discussion around purpose lately. I believe that a significant part of your purpose is to facilitate making the dreams of others come true. Look at all the lives you have touched—You have allowed others to borrow your belief in them until they believed in themselves.

It’s looking like we’d better pick the 21K target soon too! 40% there already 😊

Anonymous

I was just thinking that! By the time we get the 20k vote, we'll have surpassed the 21k, maybe almost to 22k!

Anonymous

Congrats on reaching 20k, Stephanie. I’m watching the video just posted of you & mummy on YouTube & wondering about the origin of the piece of art behind you two. It’s beautiful!

Anonymous

So wonderful, Stephanie! You're such an inspiring person! What a lovely place!

So glad I decided to become a patron

Something to add to the long list of to-dos; A clawfoot tub shower/curtain kit for the Persian room

Finally finished watching all of the youtube videos (most of them twice) so it's only fair I become a patron. Now to decide, do I start on the oldest patreon videos or the newest one. Either way, I will probably watch them twice! Greetings from stage 4 lockdown Melbourne Australia.

I am really looking forward to your new chanel with Oliver

I loved the dramatic music in this video! Fun little tidbit about Ed Sheeran! Thank you for sharing :)

Hi Stephanie, really important question... What is the angled section on the old range oven used for??

Anonymous

Hi Stephanie and Mummy, I was thinking about your broken water pipe to the garden and the giant boxwood in the garden (the one Stephanie and Selma wanted to move). Is it larger than would be expected? Perhaps the pipe was leaking under it slowly for many years and then more recently got worse? Or any other plants in the path of the pipe that are suddenly growing like crazy? This happened to me this year. I had always marveled at this one beautiful tree in my yard - turns out it had been getting extra water from the leaking pipe :). Maybe a silly idea but thought I'd share in case it could help you locate your leaky/broken pipe.

I saw the vlog where Jason sent a remnant to Stephanie, I believe it is similar or same as what I saw on eBay today, if interested. Enjoy fabric lovers! (if you go to ebay, type this in "Vintage French toile de Jouy fabric Le Quatre Seasons red and white material...")

Collab with Oliver will be awesome! I also hope Oliver and his wife buy the little farm just down from the chateau! It was beautiful and would be an awesome art retreat location!

Hi Stephanie and to all the Patreon of Lalande👋 Congratulations on the 20K👍 I'm so happy and excited too. Its my first time to be here as I only signed in this month. My husband and I are a big FANS of your Château Diaries vlogs from the beginning and also now The Doing it Ourselves by Michael P. I thought I will be contented and be happy just watching all your vlogs. But then I know deep in my heart there's something lucking. One day after watching your vlog my hubby asked me if I would like to be a Patreon. And of course immediately I said YES🤗 He said that will be my birthday gift as I didn't want any from my last birthday in July. To be honest what can I ask for when it's pandemic and crisis 🙄He said OMG that is a very cheap bday gift this year😳😅😂Then as soon as possible he made an account so I can be one of your Patreon. Very happy indeed👍☺️ Now I know what is lucking. I want to help you in my small way to restore your Château so that it will stand magestically for more and more years to come. And for many generations to see and admire. I am now very busy watching to catch up all the back videos and vlogs. Thank you so much coz you make our days happy. Especially on a time like this. Even my husband who is not into this become an avid fan😅🤣Please continue what you are doing. Give our best regards and kisses to Mummy Isabelle, Gerry, Selmar, the 2 Marie's, Tomaz, Nati, Dan, Antoine, to Percy even he's not there for the moment and to the Elusive Nick of course.. God bless, be safe and take care everyone 💋💛🙏🌻🌼🌺🌹🌷

Wow Stephanie! You really managed to create nice content during your trip :D Thank you xx I am from Malta and I wonder if you have ever been here. You and Oliver have SO MUCH to see and document on the history, architecture and art of this little island I love to call home. I am an architect and if you ever come here, I would love to give you a tour!

Hello Stephanie. Would you and Oliver consider giving us a tour of Bruges? It looks like an amazing city with a rich history to tell - and lots of chocolate shops! And perhaps if you do get there Castle ten Burghe might let you film a history tour/story video of his amazing looking castle?

Anonymous

Gerry's spoof on your introduction to your videos! Too funny!

Anonymous

What a beautiful place to live. Gerry is a scream, I just never stop laughing with him!

I'm actually visiting my cousins in a village near Fressingfield at the end of the month. Suffolk is such a beautiful county, always loved it

Anonymous

Simply delightful and so precious! Thank you for sharing your home town. The history is amazing and your home town is just as magical and intriguing as your Chateau to me! It was like being there and I loved every minute! To us in California we do not have such a long history and the ancientness of the castle is wonderful! Thank you Stephanie!

Thank you for sharing your life with me. I appreciate your bi national experiences contributing to your life at LeLande 😺 Also, thank you for introducing me to French culture and style. I follow chateau channels for a glimpse into the French way of life and hope to see what its like living in a chateau. You achieve this ten fold above other channels. Where other channels move to France and bring their English lifestyle you embrace your French side and honor the heritage of the chateau. Au revoir, Stephanie. 😺

Thank you for showing us parts of Framlingham!! :-) I know Framingham, MA here in the US. It is about 1.5 hours drive from where I live and I used to go to a neighboring town, Natick, quite often as a child. A child minder (Jayne) for my son when he was little has a grown son who is a teacher in Framingham, MA. Framingham, MA cannot hold a candle to Framlingham, UK. The differences are stark. Stay well! And, all the best to Isabelle!

Anonymous

Are Stephanie and Gerry related or is he a family friend. Please can someone explain how they know each other. Many Thanks

Anonymous

I grew up in Natick and Framingham, Massachusetts and had no idea of the connection to Framlingham, UK! Thank you, Stephanie, I'm learning so much from you.

They are like brother and Sister, but Gerry has his own family. But he moved with Jarvis Familia at the age of 12, and help to race Stef

"And the sixth day was for sport" (grimace). Hah! Wise decision, Stephanie. I'd have done the same.

Thank you for this wee tour, I will definitely visit this area someday. I learn so much from you Stephanie and it motivates me to learn more ! And to Gerry 💚

Daniel Hammond

Another place in the UK which is beautiful enough to give me an excuse to return there! I love scones. I definitely vote for jam first, cream on top. Thank you for the video!

Stephanie I think they stole your beautiful face for Barbie dolls. Did you play with them? I have been to Framingham in Ma. I lived in Marblehead for almost 10 years. I think the town in England is absolutely gorgeous. Thanks

Anonymous

Thank you for sharing this Stephanie, I very much enjoyed seeing where you grew up! Framingham looks wonderful :)

I am so glad you shared your vacation with us, but I hope you feel free to take more trips away so you can take care of yourself and live on the other side of the camera. We so value your vlog, but you are more important.
