I spy with my little eye The Giant Willow Dressing Gown. Your name was clearly written all over that one. FYI my Paris Map arrived a few days ago. When I spotted the English stamp on the parcel I nearly snatched it from the delivery chap. My husband asked if I was suicidal as I normally Hazmat up to touch anything crossing the threshold. My initial thought was for everyone to vote for your library, but I think it would be practical for you to begin insulating the chateau so that you and future guest can be warm and comfortable. Unless you want to add "Hot water bottles" for sale along with the postcards in the gift shop! Be careful on your trip and come back all rested and relaxed.

I just made my school day dream come true. When I was taking French classes I dreamed of time travelling beck in time to a beautiful chateau. Now I can become one of your lowly patrons and help in a small way to not only share in your dream but make my dream a reality. oh insulation is a great idea...not sure if that would have to coincide with room renovations though...how about something in the kitchen since that is a main hangout /activity area...is there something needing done or purchased that would help or simplify?

You tend to use flat sheets for this kind of mattress and in some cases have bedding specially made of a very odd shape

Loved the interview with your dear Mummy. I'm excited for the next Cadeau (after this week) because my husband and I have sent her a small token of appreciation for her email support of us when our daughter was in hospital in May & June With pneumonia and sepsis. Her words were full of kindness and compassion. I was nearly a basket case. ( We couldn't go to her at all because of the pandemic. ) We've been on lockdown 151 days in North Carolina. You and the Lalanders have made our days so much better. It's like we go to a party every day there is a vlog. Bless you all!

My comment comes from the US so keep that in mind, but I have been watching the videos lately and feel worried for everyone at Lalande with all the people coming/going from other countries and guests. I know we’re still very much living in a pandemic in the US for obvious reasons, but I’ve also read that rates are going up again in France. And if people are flying in and driving there… They can be exposed along the way. I see today that France has a two month high in cases. I work in public health, and I’ve lost friends to Covid, so I guess the point of my post here is just to reiterate please be careful, I don’t think this is over and I don’t think others do either even outside the US, where we are a big example of messing things up.
