Oh man, DiRT Rally would be so good! Had a lovely, albeit crash-filled, evening of DiRT with my friends this weekend. I can only imagine how fun it would be on stream.

Usually I watch streams passively while I do other things.. but those Bosman Tetris streams, cant keep my eyes off of the screen. All around, looks to be a great week of streams.

Wow ,I'm kinda surprised by the love for Dirt Rally in the comments, I thought it was just me lol, Even if it does not win, which looks like the case, I just wanted to say for any sim racing fans on the fence about this game, GET IT! Yes It can be a very challenging game at first but when it clicks it also becomes very rewarding. It's quite obivious that the folks on the Codemasters team love the sport as the game itself is not only a fantasic recreation of rallying but also like a tribute to it when it comes to the level of detail, everything from the handling to the pacenotes is made to feel authentic, the road surfaces are the best they have ever been in a rally game, filled with potholes, ruts, bumps, black ice and of course the big jumps! and then there is the sound design, from bellowing exhausts to the sounds of stones bouncing off the underbody of the car, or the sounds of the rain hitting the roof of the car, it is probably the best I've ever heard in a racing game especially when using one of the in car cams. There are some weak points of course the career mode in particular seems somewhat of a grind to unlock everything, I feel the approach that Project Cars took of having all cars unlocked from the start would have suited this game bettter, but career does have some interesting ideas like hiring staff to maintain your car, the better your staff the more quickly you can carry out repairs at a rally. While the car count may not be huge in this game, each car feels different enough to keep it interesing, and it's a similar story when it comes to locations, there are 6 locations with 12 stages, 6 of each 12 are reverse stages but the stages are so well designed that you would probably never realize it if it was not on the title screen. Anyway sorry this almost turned into a mini review but I just freaking love this game and overall I would say this game is simply a must have for any fans of sim racing. :)

On last week's Toy Box Tuesday, Brandon said that some of the computer parts arrived in two days and others were late. If you ordered from Amazon Prime, those late orders actually qualify you for an Amazon Prime membership free extension by 1 month.
