Hello again, Patreon! Yesterday, before I hosted my sketch commission stream, I was actually doing more development on my two newest characters, Hazel & Liv!

The first image here is just a simple color test, to see what these two might look like with a little color splashed on 'em! To be fair, I actually have no intention of coloring this comic, opting for heavy line art and a simpler black-and-white tone to carry the whole look of it, but I was too curious about their color schemes to not try and get an idea. I also had to draw up some quick expressions as an exercise in figuring out how their faces might contort and warp in different situations! You all know by now that faces are some of my favorite things to draw!

Unintentionally, Hazel and Liv have a contrasting spring/autumn color scheme between themselves! But that's not the only connection these two make with each other...

*** SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THE CLIMAX OF THIS STORY ***

As events continue to unfold in front of the "haunted mirror" in Liv's fitting room, where poor Hazel is trapped in front of her own reflection, tickled by ghostly hands, the tall girl is determined to outsmart the mirror in some way, and at last determines a surefire method to get out of it. She's noticed that the reflection in the mirror can tickle itself, putting Hazel into hysterics, but the reflection is unaffected by these self-tickles. So, in an effort to turn the tables, Hazel throws her costumes aside, and begins vigorously tickling herself, giving the mischievous mirror a taste of its own medicine. It works, and the reflection in the mirror is reduced to a helpless puddle of laughter, unable to fight back.

Meanwhile, outside the fitting room, we see Liv seated at her desk, still looking down at her phone... squirming uncontrollably in her seat. She's struggling to maintain her composure, fists clenched, fighting back laughter, toes curling outside of her now-discarded sneakers. Liv has been the one responsible for the trick mirror the whole time, and now that Hazel is successfully fighting back against the reflection, Liv is actually feeling every ticklish sensation that Hazel is dishing out. Unfortunately for Liv, Hazel knows her own weaknesses better than anyone else, and, going in on her sweetest spots, Liv finally gives in, shouting from outside the fitting room and begging for mercy, as she at last cracks... as does the mirror, quite literally.

As the pair soon discover, following an explanation of Liv's little game, the sudden unexpected outcome of this Halloween trick has resulted in a seemingly-permanent and unusual side effect: Liv and Hazel are now psychically connected to feel the ticklish sensations of the other. For example:
- If Hazel were to continue tickling herself, Liv would feel every stroke, scratch and skittering on her own skin.
- On the other hand, if Liv were to do the same to her own body, Hazel would feel that, as well.
- The only time these sensations are somewhat normal is when they tickle the other, where a sensation on their own body is negated, as they're responsible for it in the first place.
- BUT, if a third party were to tickle either one of them... BOTH of them would feel it, experiencing the sensations simultaneously.

Like it or not, these two have little choice but to remain close to each other, until they can find a solution to their bizarre predicament. But could these two really find friendship amidst this strange phenomenon? Perhaps, one day... something more?

*** SPOILERS END HERE ***

As you can see, I've put quite a lot of thought into this story already, and it lends itself to future adventures with these two, as well! What kind of fun could be had when two very different girls are made to know what the other's feeling at all times? Plenty of fun, that's what!!

I hope you all enjoy these sketches, and the added details about what makes these two so fun and unique! Until next time, take care of yourselves, and thank you, as always, for your continued support!!
