We've stirred up the perfect concoction of improvements, including plot expansion, laundry system, fishing adventures, seasons and weather and the acclaimed Career rework, which will get you more immersed in the city than ever before!

🏠 Plot Expansion

Guess what's cooking? The long-cherished dream of expanding your house is now a reality! We've been brainstorming, and here's the exciting scoop:

• Four Extra Sections: Roll up your sleeves and get ready to grow your house into four extra sections! Imagine the possibilities unfolding before you. This expansion opens up a world of opportunities, offering more space to roam, additional rooms to decorate, and the chance to craft the mansion of your dreams.

• Decorate, Roam, Dream: With this expansion, envision a realm filled with epic loots, cosy nooks, and perhaps some funky in-game lava lamps. Picture that ambient glow while chilling on your digital couch in your newly expanded virtual mansion. It's time to level up your decorating game, one plot at a time!

Ready for the grand unveiling? Head straight to the Royal Snail, apply for a plot expansion and break free from the constraints of a tiny house. Your virtual mansion awaits!

Notice: We wish to inform you that this update will necessitate the removal of your existing house configuration. Rest assured, we've meticulously crafted a fitting new default house for your convenience, and we are providing compensation for any items inadvertently affected which will be directly added to your balance. All of your owned furniture will be returned to the build-mode inventory, while any stored items will be available for pick-up at the PO Box at the Royal Snail. We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate your understanding.

💼 Career Rework

We believe it's crucial for everyone to truly feel their character's progression in the game. The old routine of vanishing on a bus for 8 hours and magically reappearing just wasn't cutting it for us. So, we've given the entire career system a makeover to create a more immersive experience.

• Your character's progression is now a seamless journey, with tasks around the city directly influencing pay and career level.
• You'll always have three tasks on hand, each with varying difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, and Hard.Tasks auto-reset in 5 days if not completed.
  Upon completion, a new task of the same difficulty pops up within 2 in-game hours. No repeats for at least 2 days.
  
• Not feeling the given tasks? No problem! A quick refresh of all three is just 10 crowns away. Head to your computer, hit interact, and voila!
• Once you hit career level 2, you can set a preference in the career app for a higher chance of receiving tasks aligned with your choice.

🧼 Laundry

Life in the bustling city of London just got a whole lot more real! We're adding a touch of everyday life to your characters, bringing a new layer of immersion:

• Hygiene Management: Juggle tasks, tackle never-ending Task shifts, and yes, feel the post-sprint sweat. Your characters now need you to manage their hygiene, and dirty clothes drain it faster. Switch to clean clothes and hop in the shower to stay fresh!
• Washing Machines Galore: Starting houses now come equipped with a washing machine, enhancing the basic player experience. Check out Berry’s for more options!

• Tiered Cleanliness: Grab up to four tiers of washing machines to ensure squeaky-clean characters. Trust us, Tier 4 is so shiny you might want to showcase it as a centrepiece, even if you decide to sprint around in your socks! 🧦

The game now cleverly recognizes when a lengthy interaction is happening and will speed it up for you automatically!

No more manual fuss! For interactions stretching beyond the ordinary, our automatic Fast-Forward action kicks in after just 3 seconds. Say hello to a smoother, more exhilarating gaming experience!

The control will still be in your hands! Worried about losing control? Fear not! You still hold the reins. Whether it's cooking up a storm, enjoying a meal, or getting lost in a good book, you decide the pace. The power is in your hands!

You can decide if you want to have every interaction fast-forwarded, or if you want to enjoy it at your own pace with the option of “Automatic Fast-Forward On/Off”.

Repair

In our updated game world, furniture now ages with use, reflecting a more realistic and immersive experience. Engaging with furniture carries a slight risk of wear and breakage, resulting in temporary inoperability. However, fear not! Embrace your inner craftsman and utilize various crafting materials to mend and restore these worn items to their former functionality.

Changes

Unity Version Update

We’ve updated our Unity version to the newest stable version, providing us with more tools and power to create, along with a 10% performance boost that you will surely be able to feel.

Futon Update

Futon is rolling out incredible sales and convenient delivery services. Get ready for a shopping extravaganza, with a grand monthly sale and weekly opportunities to snag fantastic deals. And here's the icing on the cake—our new delivery system lets you view purchased featured items on pedestals in the catalogue and order furniture directly to your doorstep. It's shopping made even more delightful!

• Futon will feature a large sale every 15th of each season!
• If you buy the furniture on display, it will be featured in the catalogue for repurchasing.
• You’ll also be able to buy up to 3 items per day now from the catalogue.
• Items bought from the catalogue will now be delivered directly to your home! This includes an additional delivery cost.

Library Update

Prepare for a literary feast as we unveil the latest update to our Library, brimming with an exciting addition:

• Collectables Bookshelf: Behold the "Collectables Bookshelf," a visual celebration of your conquests in the written realm. Starting as a blank canvas, this shelf transforms into a vibrant testament of your literary prowess with each page you devour. Embark on a journey from an empty shelf to a haven of literary achievements!

Progress Bar Changes

Some progress bars have been added when interacting with shop counters, subscriptions, and more.

Bedford drinking fountain

For your convenience, we’ve added a drinking fountain to Bedford Square! Quenching your thirst has never been cheaper!

NPC Changes

The NPC behaviours have been tweaked slightly, making them show up more at certain locations like Simon’s pub, for later hours in the night as well.

Subscriptions Prices

Gym subscription prices have been changed for balancing purposes. 30 - 80 - 130 Crowns respectively.

New Painting Sizes

You can now paint small, medium, or large paintings. Each can be sold for different prices at the Pawn Stall!

Food Changes

Food consumables in the game now reflect a new eating frequency state, showcasing how characters feel about repetitive meals. Repeatedly consuming the same food within an in-game week will lead to diminishing returns, visibly depicted on the food item's tooltip and occasionally through a thought bubble above the character.

Moreover, characters can now overeat up to 120% of their maximum capacity. However, excessive eating beyond this limit triggers negative effects, influencing the character's condition. Be mindful of maintaining a balance between enjoying meals and avoiding the adverse consequences of overindulgence.

Bug-Fixes and Tweaks

• The car headlights have been fixed and are now working.
• Updated collision on a lot of objects.
• Fixed bug where bathwater became red randomly.
• Clouds are no longer visible inside buildings.
• Categories in shop menus functioning properly now.
• Updated pathfinding.
• Fixed incompletable tasks.
• Character creation colour picker fixed.
• Going into debt with bills is now fixed.
• Gym ball no longer displays an outline when being used.
• Smelly VFX fixed to display properly.
• And a lot more fixes that we all love and appreciate, that will enhance our experiences even further beyond!
