Apologies for the delay. Actually we had a patch done already 2-3 weeks ago, but we did such a big patch that some features needed more improvements. So instead of launching the last one, we thought it would be better to just combine the both into a mega patch. It will be coming in mid November! 

Here I will just show of -some- of the upcoming features!

So, what is going on with Patch v0.40? 🤔

We get it, you're pumped, and we are too! But, guess what? This upcoming patch is our biggest yet, and we're going all out to make sure it's super polished, giving you a bug-free experience. It's so big; you might even call it a 'double patch'!

Here's the scoop: we've had to adjust our timeline a tad to ensure Patch v0.40 shines even brighter than all those golden leaves you've been collecting. 🍀

So, what's cooking in this mega update? 📝

Prepare to be amazed! We're bringing fresh mechanics, cool features, and a whole bunch of improvements to make your in-game life even more awesome. Let's dive in, starting with…

🏠 Plot Expansion

Remember when we kept adding all those cool in-game items, from wall decorations to giant bathtubs that could double as swimming pools? It got to the point where our QA team had to play Tetris just to fit it all in! 🧩

So, we came up with a simple, but very useful solution! For those feeling a bit cramped, we've introduced not one, not two, but FOUR new unlockable plots, offering you more space to decorate your own home. Say goodbye to that cramped little house of yours and say hello to a world of endless decorating possibilities! 🏡

Time to make room for all those epic loots, cosy nooks, and maybe even some funky in-game lava lamps - because who doesn't love that ambient glow while chilling on their digital couch in their newly expanded virtual mansion? Get ready to level up your decorating game, one plot at a time!

Head to the Royal Snail and apply for a plot expansion to break free from the constraints of a tiny house.

🧼 Laundry

Running around the bustling city of London, juggling tasks, and stressing out about being late for those never-ending work shifts. And let's be real, who hasn't felt a bit sweaty after those marathon sprints? 🏃🏼

To make it even more realistic, we've added a cool new feature: dirty clothes. And to help you deal with the mess, we've got top-tier washing machines, available in various styles at Berry's!

We're adding a touch of everyday life to your characters, where you need to manage their hygiene and keep those clothes looking fresh. It's a whole new layer of immersion! 🫧

🎣 Fishing

You can now venture into the tranquil south-eastern side of the map to reel in 32 unique fish collectables and contribute them to the Museum. Fishing will also introduce a brand-new interest, enabling you to earn more valuable rewards, including rare fish species. The more you dive into this aquatic adventure, the better your chances of discovering these precious underwater gems!

The Museum, now more vibrant than ever, eagerly awaits your generous contributions to showcase these newly discovered aquatic wonders. Your dedication to filling its exhibits not only rewards you but enriches the in-game world's culture.

This fishing activity comes with the introduction of a stunning location, "The Pond," located right next to the charming Futon store. Step into The Pond, a place overflowing with captivating aquatic wonders!

Grab your fishing rod from D&Y and embark on this relaxing new activity! The tranquil waters of the Pond are waiting for you to discover their hidden treasures and make your mark in the world of aquatic exploration.

⏭️ Automatic Fast-Forward

After hearing your feedback, we realized that manually clicking on the Fast-Forward button for every possible interaction was not fun at all! So, we decided to make things right. 👏🏿

We've put our thinking caps on and decided to make a change that's all about levelling the playing field and ensuring a unified, seamless gaming experience for every player, whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting on your simulated adventure.

So, here's what we've done:

For interactions that stretch on for more than 10 real-life seconds, the automatic Fast-Forward action will immediately kick in, giving you a nudge towards the more exciting parts of your adventure.

This newly added mechanic will introduce some cool-looking, blazing-fast speed lines.

But don't worry, you'll still have the power to control the game's pace as you like. Whether you're cooking, eating, or just chilling with a good read, you get to decide how things unfold! 🕒

Buddies, the goal is simple! To ensure that everyone enjoys the game at a comfortable pace, without the need for frantic button-pushing. So, whether you're here for the story, the characters, or just to soak in the gorgeous in-game landscapes, we've got you covered. Sit back, relax, and let the game handle the fast-forwarding, making sure your Little Sim World experience is smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free.
