Hello, our little sim community! We're coming right at you with a new patch!

This one includes some Police station functionality features, a menu scene remake, some preparations for the next patches, and some other… things 😋 (please *insert deity here*, help us solve these bugs!!!)

You can download the game here: LINK
Installation Guide: https://littlesim.world/about/installation/

These few months have been full of work, to be honest with everyone, we've been preparing everything so we can start adding more features to our Little Sim's worlds in the next few patches. Of course, though, this patch does include new features. Collectables coming soon hehe~

Let's get right up talking about the patch!!

Main Menus Rework

We decided to rework how the Main Menu and Character Creation look. We felt like our previous scene wasn't good enough for the game and it also needed changes to fit our new statistics system (Coming soon). You can now see your player information in form of cards before loading into the game, here you'll be able to see how your progress has been, and how your Little Sim journey is going. All menus are much smoother now, give 'em a look, we hope you like them as much as we do!

Bubble Feedback

Exercising your skills and maintaining your basic needs mostly required the player to just sit there and wait. We've seen this issue and well, we decided to change the way how the character maintains his stats and skills by introducing the bubble interaction system. Now while frying your loving loaf of bread or running on the treadmill, small and transparent bubbles will pop up from the wellbeing UI window, which will transition to the player and proceed to go to the experience bar up above the character's head. Visually stimulating, isn't it? Lastly, in order to increase the player's engagement with the game we added the possibility of interacting with some of these bubbles which will yield interesting boosts to the character for a certain amount of time.

Levelling up your interests and getting experience will now display a new feedback system, using Bubbles! See how your needs turn into experience while interacting with things, you now have visual feedback on how your progress is being made.

Police Station Functionality

We added the Police Station in the last patch but it didn't have any functionality, here's what it can do now: London Police department services offer the following:

  • Citizenship-data-related changes
  • Character personality reset (all inspiration and skill points are kept intact)
  • Skip the current tutorial quest
  • Pay fines (Fines aren't paid instantly now).

These have been our main features, we're really happy about these Character Creation changes, we need to do these in order to have our statistics system fully working. We'll soon add collectables and activity tracking on the player profile, expect news on this soon! Big read coming up, have fun everyone! Thank you so much for staying with us for these 4 long years!
