This week there's been quite a few distractions. I had originally made my Steam release as a seperate version to the Patreon release, but decided to rewrite it so both version now are essentially the same. That means I will save a lot of time later on with the release of chapter 8, and during the development of it. Unfortunately, it also meant I had to re-script and re-test all of the achievements (with the help of my testers), which took a decent chunk of last weekend.

I've also done an interview and scheduled another one, which I'll link when they are released. If you want to read my last one, check out this link). In addition to that, I've done some work with other devs for honorable mentions in their games.

When it comes to actual LoF work, I've finished the prologue which is a bit different this time around. Render numbers are at 105 story renders, and no animation yet - as I like to do the story cronologically and there's no animations in the prologue.

I've started working on the girl's endings now, so animation numbers should increase rapidly from here onwards.

I also got the first version of Wibble's custom made asset for the chapter highlight, and played around with it a bit. It's one fantastic asset, and I couldn't be happyer that Wibble agreed to help me with it. Some of your support will go to him as payment for a truly fantastic asset and the countless hours he's put into it. When you see it, you'll understand why.

I've invited other devs to submit their character creations as audience for this scene, and so far more than 130 characters has been submitted! A huge thank you to everybody that submitted characters. If you are a VN creator and would like your characters to be included, jump by my Discord to get the details - deadline January 15th.

This week, hopefully I can shut down random communications for a bit and focus 100% on the game. Because now I'm getting to the fun part(s). Oh, and by typing in the date for this dev diary, I realize it's exactly two years since I did my first render for LoF. Time flies when you're having fun.

Have a nice weekend, and stay safe out there.
