Agreed. Across the Spider-Verse is without question the most visually stunning movie I've ever seen. The artwork is *spectacular*. (And the story and writing are great too, of course.)

The blonde spiderman in the beginning is voiced by Chris Pine and Peter B. Parker is the one voiced by Nick from New Girl!

Bendis's was heavily influenced by Donald Glover's appearance in Spider-Man pajamas in "Anthropology 101", in the second-season of Community. This was a reference to an unsuccessful online campaign that attempted to cast Glover an audition for the lead role in The Amazing Spider-Man. Bendis said of Glover, "He looked fantastic! I saw him in the costume and thought, 'I would like to read that book.' So I was glad I was writing that book."

that suit is giving spider supreme vibes from the greg land series where spiderman became sorcerer supreme for a few issues. i THINK (if im remembering correctly) doc strange put his astral form in his body to give him access to sorcerous knowledge. fun times with black cat and the gang!

yeah so not for me. great animation but boring story. 2nd one has a better story but same issue: can emotionally bond with any of the characters so outside of them doing cool shit and great animation, this series does nothing for me. its no xmen

americans for the most part of xenophobes (plus racist) so not hard to get why when there is a new version of something they love they lose their shit. black captain american, afro latino spiderman, black superman, black wonder woman, gay japanese catwoman, etc etc. haters gonna hate. but one man's trash is always another man's treasure so them hating these changes and not buying the comics didnt stop those who were interested in the characters to buy them and at the end of the day all the companies care about is the bottom dollar of sales.

Navi hadn't watched it yet and the others wanted to watch it again. Sometimes you pick up new things when you rewatch a something. Personally I think it's only disingenuous when they pretend they never watched it; I appreciate their honesty before going into the reaction.
