Cowboy Bebop was such a let down, I wasn't overly hyped for it cause we all know how LA adaptions turn out. But wow. Vicious, Julia & Gren have got to be the worst case of butchering characters I've ever watched.

On the Silver Eyes thing it is just a family thing because Ruby's mom had silver eyes (Qrow talking to Ruby at the end of V3 "you're special the same way your mom was'). So yeah it isn't a unique power like the maiden's but is rather a normally hereditary trait but a rare trait.

At this point the audience already knows why Ruby´s silver eyes reacted to Cinder. She has a Grimm Arm, remember? We saw her use it to kill Vernal underneath the Academy when they retrieved the Jinn´s lamp. Ruby hasn´t seen it though, so she doesn´t know. (Episode 5x12)

Wait… wait I’m baffled. I will admit I just paused the video (RWBY reaction), so idk if they address it later. But you guys spent many episodes talking shit about Cinder’s grim arm and eye prosthetics making her ugly. And when RWBY questions how she used it fighting Cinder you’re all like “yeAh hOw DiD ThAt hAPpEn??” It’s okay, But I just want to know how you guys forgot about the Grim arm? lol xD

Exactly. Also in chapter 3 when Jinn was showing everyone what Ozpin was hiding, you can see that in one of Ozpin’s previous lives (the second to last reincarnation they show before the end of the chapter), that some of his kids sat around the dinner table have silver eyes. Reinforcing that it’s hereditary/takes a certain combination of genes, probably.

I totally missed that the guy in the bar's name was Gren, and not sure too sure how I feel about it yet lol! Not sure if they ever even say it again. So much I want to say about Cowboy Bebop but all of it would be spoilers at this point. What I will say is that the line "you're gonna carry that weight" was the ending caption of the final episode of the anime. Don't believe it shows up at any other time. Can't wait to see how you guys like it by the end but my prediction is that Pat won't. I think he's trying real hard to like it now.

Well to be fair, Cinder didn't have those Grimm features at the fall of beacon, those were given to her afterwards. What RWBY's eyes reacted to was the Grimm bug that transferred Amber's Fall Maiden powers to Cinder. She absorbed it. Thats what the tattoo on her back was from.
