Hyuga incident - refer back to episode 61 of the original when Neji shares his backstory with Naruto during the Chunnin Exams. Basically the Cloud Village sent a shinobi to the Leaf Village to abduct a Hyuga member. Hinata’s father found out and killed the kidnapper. The Cloud Village was pissed about this death and so wanted a dead Hyuga member in return. Hinata’s father volunteered but his twin brother (Neji’s father) stepped in and offered his life instead. Btw Yugito (who was mentioned in this episode) is the Two Tail’s Jinchuriki (cat spirit) and she is from the Cloud Village too - refer back to episode 72 of Shippuden. She was able to control her Tailed Beast just like Killer Bee too.

Most if not all of the Cloud villages names are actually actually adjectives: Samui: Cold Omoi: Heavy Karui: Light (as in weight) And the Hyuuga incident was one that you learned about earlier in Naruto when the Cloud village tried to kidnap Hinata to gain the Byakugan but her father killed the head ninja who was the perp. Then they demanded his head in recompense but the Leaf gave up his twin brother (Neji's father). And for, Chris that thing you were spoiled on is probably one of the things I hate most about this show lol

Naruto was amazed Jiraya did that training too because he’d thought Jiraya mastered sage easily. He has Jiraya UP THERE 🥰 and the training wasn’t about balance. Balance was used as a method to achieve complete stillness. The point was to become one with Naruto without moving at all. I love Naruto’s training arcs, they’re always so satisfying 😀
