Oh you like the J Pop songs, you're in for a ride then, some of them ear worms that get stuck in your head for days. It can be incredibly anoying, just like Uzumaki Naruto.

Yeah tbh I prefer sub over dub cuz I feel the emotion better and I feel it’s more authentic as Micky said in the video. I just can’t take it seriously on the dubs. But as long as they enjoy the show I’m fine with it.

Calm down with the time travel Nahid xD It went like this, spoilless: There was a First Hokage, then a Second, then a Third... Eventually another person took over as Fourth Hokage, but then that person died saving the village from the Demon Fox. So the old Third Hokage came out of retirement and assumed his old post again.

Naruto ends his sentences with "dattebayo" in the sub. which is essential "believe it" in the dub. It's not really a word, more like a combination of parts of words to add emphasis to what he's saying, like a verbal tic.

I liked that scene more in the DUB. When Naruto found out he was the grandson of the Third Hokage, he said, "I DON'T CARE IF HE'S YOUR GRANDMOTHER!"

I predict the fanboys will not like Micky when they finally get to Naruto Shippuden. he's usually pretty good at calling out BS/plot holes. Shippuden has a lot.

You guys remember Hanzo in HxH? I think that's what inspired the Author to make his series about Ninjas. He was Jumping and hiding in the Trees during the Hunter Exam. I could be wrong tho.

Naruto never really struck me as a good show to react to because its really slow for a lot of it but i will check back in on it when u guys are like 30 or 40 episodes deep lol.

Are you guys going to be following a no filler list? There's like 200 episodes of filler that are disconnected from the story and it's a real slog to get through without skipping them.

I would strongly suggest you get into Hunter x Hunter while they're watching that. That show comes close to Avatar in quality (some may argue it is better) personally I'm not sure, and their reactions to certain scenes will probably be much crazier. Take my word for it.

Don’t worry about the dub it’s honestly not that bad and you’re right you guys talk as you react you cannot read at the same time. you WILL miss key sentences that put the whole story into context if you will do the sub. I recommend dub :) thanks

As much as I like the sub, I grew up watching the dub on Toonami every Saturday night. Dub just holds more nostalgic value, imo.

As far as the Hokages go, the Fourth Hokage died and after that the third hokage came back and took back his position.

This was a touching episode, its a good reminder to how early Naruto was. I notice the Flashback no Jutsu kicking in already though.
