Mount Module Progression – WorthIt Report – 09/01/2022 (Patreon)

Introduction:

This week of the WorthIt Report I will be going over how the Mounts Module is coming along as well as a nice little bonus for you all until the WorthIt Guides addon is complete.

Mounts:

This week has been quite a long one due to having to research and categories every mount in wow.

This was around 815+ mounts covered and the categories are set for example as, Raids, Dungeons, Reputations, PvP, Open World and as well as a special set for pure Easy/100% Mounts.

The last Category should be good for new / old players starting there collection, I am currently tinkering with the idea of showing if you have the mount in question before you do said guide.

The ideal way of doing it is a form of filtering but I think this is best done after all guides have been complete as there are quite a lot needed and as such will require a lot more time than initially thought.

Patreon Bonus:

Currently this development time is taking quite a while to do and as such I figured out that batching content while this is occurring is most helpful.

Hence all of you will be receiving the scripts of each video on a Wednesday for you all to have a sneak peak before videos are made and released.

Moving Forward:

As we progress onto building out the addon, of course a lot of work is required but I have set an initial deadline of the 30th of march for it to be completed by, I work better with deadlines and this is why I have set one for finishing the addon in question :)
