Wow FFXVI is really good! / Status (Shen) Update - 6/24/23 (Patreon)

I finally got my copy of FFXVI yesterday and then immediately played it for like 12 hours straight. The game? It is. So good. As for the meantime, I got that Shen finished up!

I included 3 images for this, so I'll go over them real fast.

1- Base Shen!

Unseen is that the man now wears suspenders beneath his vest- in fact, all paragons (or dragons, or people with thick enough tails) will be wearing suspenders when they can. My reasoning is essentially because their tails are often so thick, they mess with the waistline where the pants would hold themselves up. Remove a paragon's suspenders and they might just have their pants fall down! And we totally wouldn't want that to happen, would we?

I wanted Shen to look more worn-out than before, and I think I succeeded with that. He's also quite a bit more barrel-ey than he's been in the past, with tits growing ever fatter.

As for the main reason I made this, it was mostly because his head structure was off in the prior version and I felt I could fix him up across the board! I'd like to think I did a pretty good job C:

2- Swimsuit Shen!

As you can likely see from the last version and now as you can ESPECIALLY see from this version, Long Shen is quite Long. Some might classify his erect dick as a war crime, who knows! Why did I make this change, you might ask?

Part of it was because pretty much all the paragons so far have chodish dicks, very very thick with some of them being long to boot. In making Shen longer, I skewed the balance so that he comes across as more long than thick, which is fun for dong diversity among the paragons.

The other reason is because it's funny. Like, LONG Shen? Long? HAhah ahah ahahahhahahahh

3- Shen thru the ages...

I like making these comparison images with the original sprites, even going so far back as the days where Dax was my artist. It's fun to look back on how my art as changed and (I'll hope y'all will agree) improved over the 2.5 years I've been making art for this game. It's also fun to look back on their original iterations and how different they might be!

Now, next week might be a bit of a dud. My great-grandmother recently passed away, so I'm going to need to travel all the way to my relatives and attend the funeral. I'm going to be gone from Sunday night all the way til... about Thursday, perhaps? So I might not get as much done as I would like. I'll try to keep my productivity up, though!

And don't worry about me also, I'm not that broken up about it. She was cool, but she was also 103 years old lol. I still remember at her 100th birthday where she had a short speech and basically just said "I've been here long enough" and downed a drink. It was pretty funny. So here's to you, great-grandma o7
