Happy November! My favorite month of the year. My birthday month, things start cooling off, my wife starts pestering me to put up the Christmas tree even though it is NOT okay yet lmao.

I hope you all had a Happy Halloween and are looking forward to wrapping up 2022. Holy shit time flies.

Couple updates, the backlog video is going quite well. Love the thumbnail, love the direction of the script, love my terrible idea that I’ll be explaining in the video haha. The episode should be dropping on the 12th but may get pushed to the 19th. We’ll see. BUT, holy smokes I had a wave of inspiration for the December video and I’m stupidly excited about that. Unlike the backlog video, it actually contains 0% psych. However… it will be a really deep analysis. If you like film, if you like Pokémon, if you like pro wrestling, or any combination of those things, it should be an absolute blast. I simply cannot wait to write it.

Anyways, sorry for the short post this week. Im out of town with my family for my grandmas funeral. No worries, Im a little sad but I’m completely fine, as is my family. We’ve known this was coming and on the bright side, it’s just nice to see everyone. But because of that I’m a little off the grid haha. So if you’ve messaged me, I’ll get back to you soon!

My sincere condolences to you and your family. I understand what you mean about foreknowledge that a loved one's passing is likely making the actual event of passing easier to some extent, and of course family is a comfort as well, but I am still very sorry to hear that you and your family are dealing with such a loss. I love the autumn months as well, and while I'm not putting up any Christmas trees, I do have a Christmas spreadsheet started. :) I'm so pleased to hear that you're feeling so inspired, and I can't wait for either of the upcoming videos. I'm sure they'll be as wonderful as ever, psych or no psych. :) Take care!

I'm so sorry for your loss, Daryl. Even if it was anticipated, it still is never easy. I am glad that you are able to focus on your family and be together during this time. Much love and thoughts of healing coming your way! Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons so I am with you in loving November. Nothing like being surrounded by darkness, shades of grey, and the illusion that all the plants are dead when really they are still very much alive. Something about that always makes me feel stronger. I am so proud and impressed that you are able to feel inspired, excited, and find joy in your upcoming projects despite what you're going through. Can't wait to see what you come up with next! In my life, I finally played the true route of Omori. So many thoughts and feelings. Pretty sure my friends are all annoyed because of how much I'm talking about it. Perfect game for spooky season though. I am excited/horrified to play it again and experience the hikikomori route.

Thanks Andrea, so glad I'm not alone on the affinity for grey breezy deceased foliage lmao! And YEP, I remember those days haha, my friends were so fed up with Omori after I talked about it for over a month. What an experience right??
