hey hey hey hey hey hey here we are

Long awaited. Sorry that this took a week or two more than expected, but, hey, whole new game! I don't plan on updating this (beyond fixing bugs) and is more intended to be a complete (but small) little package of love that is kind of me throwing everything that I've learned so far into a big fat Quest pot and cooking it up. The result is a game where you get some micros and get them to make a town and also lewd stuff and also vore stuff. Yeah, macro perspective for a change!

I'm just gonna move straight onto the FAQ! I was going to put a bunch of information here but I think the intro of the game covers it pretty well and a lot of the fun of this weird little game is in the discovery of it, I think. I simply urge you to download it and try it out. You'll need Quest (available here) to play. It's very unique! I don't think anyone has made anything like this in Quest before...

If you got questions, though? I got answers! Here's an FAQ. Note that none of these are actually frequently asked because nobody has actually asked me any of these questions, but 'Q' doesn't have quite the same ring to it.

FAQ

What is this?
It's a weird idle game (sorta) civilization management (not really) text game wherein, for once (at least in my stuff) you are the macro. It's based off of Sea Monkeys and ant farms and things like that, except, instead of growing brine shrimp or herding insects, you are, instead, growing a small army of micros to do your bidding.

Said bidding can be kind or cruel. Being cruel locks you out of being kind (for the most part) but being kind does not lock you out of turning the tables and being cruel. Being kind or cruel will grow your civilization (sort of) of micros more and more.

Depending on what you do, there are three endings available - good, bad, and meh. It also has a really fun intro that I put a lot of effort into, so, make sure you watch that. :)

How do I play it?
It's pretty easy! You just sorta do stuff and number goes up. The more the number goes up the more options you get. Options stop unlocking after you get 250 total. You can probably get quite a few more than that but there's not much point!

There is no way to make number go down. Similarly, it is not too much of a chore or a grind to actively get the number to go up, but you can leave the game running in the background and it will just sit and accumulate more guys for you.

This sounds like a weird game.
That isn't a question, but, yes, weird game. I think it's a fun one, though - or at least, as fun as something in Quest can be. It's also pretty unique. I don't think anyone's made anything like this in Quest before ... probably because it's a complete pain in the ass to do! Half of making this thing was figuring out how exactly to do it.

What kinda vore is in it?
Oral vore, anal vore, and unbirth/cock vore. There's also steppies and sitties. None of this is done with consent but only the vore itself is fatal.

What kinda not vore is in it?
You can make the micros worship you and make 'em give you massages and stuff. You can even make them give you an, uh, intimate massage if you catch my drift. All of this is done with consent.

How much content is there overall?
It's about 15,000 to 20,000 words worth of stuff altogether. It's hard to estimate because there's a lot of code.

I don't really want to play an idle game (not really) civilization management (sort of but not at all) text game to unlock the porn. Is there any way I can just read it?
Yeah, I added a gallery mode for ease of access to the content. You can get to it from the first screen of the game.

What's the point of this?
I wanted to do something a bit weird and different from the usual fare. Also, challenging yourself to make an entire game in just a couple of weeks is fun, especially when you're doing something relatively unique. I could've just made another small text adventure, but I have two very big text adventures so making a different sort of project was a good change of pace.

Also, I learned a lot about Quest in the process of making this - mostly in how to make things more efficient to code - so that will be very helpful going forward. It's also nice to have a fully completed game underneath my belt I guess, even if it's small.

Will you be updating this in the future?
Only to fix bugs and such. Any new content is a 'probably not', though it would be easy to add, so who knows?

Will you be making anything like this again in the future?
That question has multiple answers. Will I be making any more idle games/civilization management (not really but kinda) games in the future? No. Will I be making more games from a macro perspective in future? Maybe. Will I be making more random small games in the future? Most certainly, but not for a few months - maybe not even until next year, since I want to get Tiny Furry On A Huge Quest finished and get a bunch of new content into Tiny Furry In A Huge World in 2022. And, you know. Comms and stuff! I kinda took a couple of weeks off from everything to put this together and I don't really have the time to do that a lot, basically. Too many irons in the fire, blah blah blah...

Hey, I'm reading this from my email and my access to your Patreon expired before I could download. Could I get a Google Drive link or something?
yea sure here you go. don't reshare it or do anything lame though!
GOOGLE DRIVE LINK (or https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XsJ9Hy3yLJ7tHJHm7r3tW1JNjnlYPjmo/view?usp=sharing since I dunno how embeds work on patreon emails)

What's your plan for a public release on this?
I'll put it out for free in April or something like that. Or maybe a little later. I'm not really sure. Point is, plan is to have it as a Patreon exclusive treat for a month or so.

Can I play it on mobile?
Not right now, but, I'll have a private link up to a mobile version in the next few days or so hopefully. If I can get it working anyway. Don't count on it but I am really going to try.

Are there bugs?
Very possibly. Despite having a lot less content than either of my games, there's a lot more codey stuff going on. The more codey stuff there is the more liable it is to break. With that said, though, I've tested it enough that it should be bug free. I always miss a couple so I'm not going to guarantee that but I'll be on standby over the next 48 hours. If you find a bug, message me on Discord about it or shoot me a message here or even drop a comment. You'll see a bug fix for your problem pretty much immediately.

I think that's it. Please download and enjoy and stuff and have a good time. A lot of effort went into this and I think it probably shows!

Thank you to everyone for being patient with me this month. It's been a strange February but March is going to be super duper. Comms, big ass Tiny Furry In A Huge World update, and we'll have a new poll. Soon as I get that Aimee ending done! Tomorrow? Yes! For now, I'm going to go and play video games and not feel guilty about taking a couple of hours off for a change. Big game releases are nice for that...

Macroville is also super duper and I super duper hope you have fun playing it!

LIKE PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING I MAKE YOU NEED QUEST TO PLAY THIS. IT'S AVAILABLE FROM TEXTADVENTURES.CO.UK. HERE'S A LINK

EDIT: There was a really stupid bug but now it's fixed. Also if you're running the game on a really stupid big monitor (like above 1980x1080) then play the higher resolution version otherwise the text will kinda scroll out of the borders because Quest is Quest and stuff.

EDIT 2: fixed another couple of bugs. should be the last of 'em now

I really liked this concept! Very interesting!
