I accidentally edited instead of commenting...oops...but yeah secrets and lies are intertwined. I just couldn’t remember and think Stefan was being quite the hypocrite.

1. He lied to her for months about the first time they met and he compelled her to forget. Elena only found out after she became a vampire. 2. He lied to her for months again at the start of season 3 when she was searching for Stefan and he kept her in the dark, not telling her that he's tracking Klaus's victims and that Stefan was killing people, basically withholding a lot of information from her and treating her like she was stupid. 3. He lied to her for months yet again after the start of their relationship, when he killed Aaron's whole family and Elena had no idea and thought he was changing. Then he kept lying after knowing Elena had met Aaron and was friends with him, only coming clean about it when Aaron threatened Elena with a gun. I'm also not sure if he told Elena that he almost killed Jeremy in episode 5x13. I suppose the show wants us to believe that he told Elena all about it off camera and then Elena not only forgave him off camera, but also rushed to sleep with him. Which, I guess might be true, because Elena is too forgiving for her own good, but never before has she been this forgiving when it comes to Jeremy. I mean, Bonnie literally said in episode 5x13 that if Damon hurts Jeremy, Elena would kill him. So I wonder if maybe Elena still doesn't know about Damon kidnapping her brother and threatening his life again.

Whah can't wait for the last two episodes they are a handful ! I think its just random, which people get yanked away and which will interact with the real world ...

I loved your reaction today even more than usual I couldn’t stop laughing when u said Stefan and Damon were like they didn’t see a fire before and Stefan seen a rope for the first time I died 🤣🤣🤣😅 I totally agree that fire scene was lame they were literally just standing there 😅 The start of the episode was so funny when Damon was throwing those ice pieces on Luke he can be so hilarious at times and I liked seeing how much you enjoyed that scene 🙂 The best episodes of the season are coming up I love the next 2 it’s soo good so close to the finale yehhh can’t wait for it !! 🤗

The barn scene!!! I cannot remember ever being that frustrated with a scene like this before. I don't understand or remember what the direction for that was supposed to be. But it literally was like they've never seen fire, or rope or sticks or like they've never been stabbed before. And on top of ALL of that them standing around while everything burns. Like I KNOW there's a lot of scenes where the acting is like they FORGOT they're vampires. But this was the most hilariously frustrating. And YES the writers were manipulating the audience. Imagine watching this when it FIRST aired and having the writers literally explaining things on twitter. Because around this season it got to a point where it was like the writer wrote and shot half the episode, then explained the other half on twitter. Because they thought we were too stupid to catch on. It was a nightmare! My point is I'm literally jealous that your'e getting to watch it WITHOUT all of that. Watching it without all the writer commentary is nice.
