You asked why Marcel is saying all that stuff about fighting Klaus when Klaus can just easily kill him....I think it’s because at the end of the day they love each other. They may fight, be angry at each other, do bad stuff to each other but underneath all of that they are family (just like the original family). I think that they know this. Klaus says “I expect nothing less” when Marcel says that he will fight against him. I don’t think that Klaus would be okay with someone else saying that to him. And on Marcel’s end, I think that he knows that Klaus would probably never kill him. For example, in episode 18, when Marcel commits the massacre and Elijah comes for him and is threating to kill Marcel, Marcel taunts Elijah and says that if Elijah kills him then Klaus probably wouldn't speak to him anymore (Elijah then kills Thierry instead). Anyway, overall, I just love the complexity of their relationship. LOVED the flashbacks this episode.

You asked about Marcel's mom...I'm pretty sure that child version Marcel said in a flashback earlier in the season...that his mother never named him because she wanted to make sure that the fever wouldn't take him first but then the fever killed her instead. He says this to Klaus when he first meets him and then Klaus offers him the name Marcel

I love when Klaus asks Haley what Michael said to her and she said "nothing true". The look on his face....Loved that moment!

I don't know about any of the other side stuff because I don't watch the vampire diaries but if I had to guess why Michael was able to appear to Davina...I guess its because Davina was performing a séance to contact the dead/Tim. However, Michael said that Tim had already passed through. So...maybe that created an opening for Michael to appear in Tim's place?

love this episode. Klaus and Marcel's relationship is one my favorite parts of the entire show. And we FINALLY GET A HAYLIJAH KISS. also really liked the moment between klaus and Hayley in the nursery when she said "nothing true".. that was sweet🥺

The baby’s nursery was a room connected to Hayleys so that was Klaus’ way of showing her he wants her to stay and raise the baby with him

Klaus and Marcel’s relationship is my favourite thing in the show. Klaus really loves him and he has made mistakes with him. About Rebekah and Marcel I’ve never really gotten 100% on board with them. Like they’re cute and all but I can’t not think about the fact that Marcel is Klaus’ adopted son so Rebekah is basically his aunt who watched him grow up as a boy. Idkkk it’s always at the back of my mind when I think of their relationship but thats just me. Anyway, finally Hayley and Elijah had a moment!! I love the buildup and tension but cmon Elijah. Be happy!!

All of this!! It's always in the back of my head like "That's your nephew!" Marcel and Rebekah are cute. They are! But I can't get over the fact that she's watched him grow up from a boy. It'd be entirely different if Klaus had found Marcel and then Rebekah showed up after he was a grown man. But the fact that she KNEW him when he was a child makes it seem like she was preying on this child and waiting in the wings for him to grow up. It's the only reason I can't put the pieces together.

You forget the fact that Klaus loves Marcel. Otherwise, he'd already be dead. No matter what evil he has committed over the centuries, he really cared about Marcel and I noticed how after every good thing he does, you continue to roll your eyes over it. Everyone understands how evil he can be, but that doesn't take away from the love he has for Marcel and even Cami.
