I think Ricky flipped because Lee was living out his sick fantasy, being an adult male having sex with the niece he was perving on. Ricky is nasty. I've seen the actor in other things and he just skeeves me out even if he's supposed to be an okay guy. Season 3 was actually released 2 or 3 years after season 2, just for context. And now aren't you a little bit excited to eventually get to the 13th Doctor? (She comes with the showrunner Chris Chibnall from this too). This was the program that I loved so much it made me finally get around to watching Doctor Who. I didn't become a die hard Whovian, but I enjoyed it. I always like to see Doctor Who fans react to this show because it's like, "let's just take the Whoiverse and remix it into a gritty crime drama." And of course, because I jokingly still think Tom actually killed Danny, I dream of the (never to be made according to Chibnall) 4th season would just be another death in Tom's vicinity when he's at university. ;) But that would actually be too soapy for this show and so it's best to just be the fanfic in my head.
