Have you watched Into the Spiderverse? I think you'd really enjoy it if not

WhoviVortex

Yes! Strong support for this! It’s a gorgeous movie that I concur to thinking you’d love!

Thanks for reacting to this! I love this movie. Just to clear a few things up: 1. This movie takes place right after Captain America: Civil War, where Spider-Man was introduced into the MCU. Tony found out about Peter through viral Youtube vids, I believe, and recruited him to fight against Cap. 2. Tony asks Peter in Civil War why he does this/his MO, and Peter says: “When you can do the things that I can, but you don't, and then the bad things happen, they happen because of you.” They alluded to Uncle Ben here because of Peter’s defining motive being guilt, so I was really happy that they didn't do the same story that we all know — as you said. 3. Tom is the youngest actor to play this character — 19 at the time. In my opinion, he’s acted out a teenage Peter Paker better than the first two, and it was highlighted when he was under the rubble screaming for help. 4. You asked, in the beginning, why does his eyes move like that when he’s wearing the suit: it's because, in the comics, Spider-Man is shown to be VERY expressive. In other versions of Spider-Man, they always had to take off their mask to show any kind of emotion. From a storytelling perspective; it helps convey emotion from the actor whose entire face is covered. From an “in story” perspective; it helps him focus and dial his senses. They work like camera apertures. 5. Yeah, Michelle isn't MJ, but she’s the MCU equivalent. Overall, I really love the MCU version of Spider-Man. At this point, Peter has had his powers for a little over six months. There were so many moments where his youthfulness showed, but by the end of the movie, he declines Tony’s offer. It showed maturity, but also self-awareness of his own dependencies and shortcomings. He needed to be more independent and mature, and that couldn't happen if he was constantly relying on Tony. Do you plan on reacting to Far From Home also? If so, have you seen Infinity War/ Endgame?

I’m going to watch Far From Home and yeah I’ve seen Infinity/Endgame 😁

Great! Looking forward to your reaction to that as well! Also, do you have any interest in Marvel's Disney+ shows like WandaVision? The show takes place after the events of Endgame, and it's extremely different from what they've done in the MCU so far. It has a lot of mystery and "horror"/unsettling elements in it.
