Just to get this out of the way. the menus and the talking ui are not done looks wise xd hence why they look like shit. Im just working on coding the functionality.


Anyhow, ive gotten decently far on my questing system now. Added a lot of updates/changes yesterday and today, and managed to make sub objectives in quests, that allows for short questlines like the one in the above video, to be compressed into a singular quest. 

As an example, in the dialog presented in the video, if I hit the right choices, I get a quest to go catch his old robe. If I didnt hit that specific option in the dialog, Id just skip that quest entirely, and depending on the dialog, id get a different quest, or none at all

(as ive setup a dialog system that gives me a lot of control for each path taken. I give the player a quest through any reply I want anywhere in the dialog. I can also assign custom points to replys, which will go towards a system to set the npcs mood. (Kinda like rep grinding, if you could as easily rep grind to unfriendly as you can friendly kekw )

Last but not least, heres an example of the males dialog. Left path is the main tree that was read before the quest objectives were finished. The right singular node is the 'deliver quest' text. I can however make either of those parts as short or long as I wish.

Further down in the left tree, you just see the dialog, and the possible choices. Atm there is 2 choices only, but for the storyline dialogs, there will be 3 choices, due to the background point system im adding to spice up the smex :-)
