Hi all, How are you guys doing today!?
This last 2 weeks I was mainly working on the gameplay and world systems and of course I've been developing one of the biggest features for OPERATION GROUNDZEROES (Cover System and Vehicle System) and I can't wait to show you guys this!

Note that this test footage is recorded from in-engine gameplay, the performance may be very heavy for this test footage.

Systems and Animations
Wall Cover System
, this system is inspired by GTA V's Cover System. I've also planned to add a feature to swap a cover similar to The Division too. You can use Cover System to hide and avoid being detected by an enemy or especially the gun combat with other PMC operators.

Vehicle System, this system will help you exploring the dying world of OGZ, you will have to take care of your vehicle because it's rare (you have to find it from the world by yourself) and you need fuel for your vehicle. Vehicle durability will be a thing too. Everytime you crashed into something, the durability will drop by a lot. When your vehicle runs out of durability, it'll be in broken state and need some repair. If your vehicle is destroyed by explosion like stepping on landmine traps or accidentally driving into a river, you will lose your vehicle permanently. There is gonna be a Gas Station system where the fuel and some supplies will be available there too.

Polished Aiming Animation System, this system is now polished, as you guys seen on the test footage, your sight can be blocked by a wall or anything if you stand too close to it. The Aim Stance will also change depending on your movement too.

There is now 2 types of aiming, 1 is normal aim and 2 is blind aim. Blind Aim will reduce your gun's accuracy by a lot and the crosshair will be hidden.

Update Movement Animations, Crouch Movement is now upgraded because you can move and aim at same time, the animations are also changed and the most important thing is that your character's idle animation will change depending on the weather and the status. Low health or low Stamina will change your idle animation, extremely weather will also do the same.

Performance
I've installed FSR for OGZ now, it'll save some graphical performance for sure.

Lighting
I updated the lighting for OGZ with more yellow tint and heavier low ambient light. Also increased the sun bright and make the world feel a bit more colorful.

Artwork
Here is the artwork I did, this time no animated artwork because I was/am too busy working on the vehicle system right now. But drawing is very fun comparing to game development and I wish I could draw more often.
Here is the preview of the artwork, this time it's set in Fantasy World, generated directly from my degenerated brain.

Plans
Here is the list of what i'm gonna do:
-Reworking the walker model with the higher details and more disturbing design.
-ATV model.
-Tree models, very Canada stuff.
-Gas station system and model.
-Stuff on the road (like destroyed vehicles to explore and some explosion holes from war)
-A few buildings for exploration.
-3 new monsters. (H scenes and contents won't focus until the game is at 70% completion)
-A few stuff and PoC gets released.

Most of stuff are still WIP and these will get improved over time.
This half month is already a pack of big features. I want the systems to be ready before moving onto the modeling department.

FSR, nice! Monsters with unique abilities will help with gameplay design a lot I think.
