Sorry for the delay folks. We have part five, what I think will be the penultimate chapter to this installment of Rachel's Love Potion. (Maaaaaybe two more, but probably one.) In it, we finally get a glimpse of what Rachel's been up to while Kammie's been out there trying to steal her thunder. Mysteries become less mysteries.

This one took me longer than I wanted it to, and that may continue to be the case for a little bit. Captain Bananas, my dog, unexpectedly died last weekend (on April Fool's Day, in fact, the little imp). I'm doing better than I thought I might, but coping well still means grieving, and more time in general not being able to trust my headspace to produce what I want it to. Really, I'm lucky this chapter linked below is about two friends separated and desperately missing one another. Hopefully I didn't overdo it.

Anyway, we will get this done, and my sense is that it won't be too crazy long. Just bear with me, folks. More to come.

Even in a fictional reality, it's nice to see that a Discord server is central to someone's emotional well-being -slash- self-improvement -slash- potential eternal damnation.

We've waited a long time to get Rachel's POV back in this story, but it's all worth it for a) the image of Rachel asking PetSmart employees for their "least lovable" fish; and b) Rachel's disarmingly cute theories on the flexibility of magical incantations and supernatural bargaining. It's such a great chapter. The hard work of friendship, and closing distances both literally and metaphorically, but as a multiversal investigation. It's heartwarming, in the dumbest, funniest way possible. Which is another way of saying that I'm *so glad* Rachel's back. Thanks!
