Here's a quick little reminder for those of you who were in the live chat and some new tips to those of you who weren't. In the chat, we delved into each of these deeper, but I wanted to at least list them here for all of you to think about. :)

Setting this to public because I think a lot of people can benefit from this. <3

1. Don't blame yourself for your depression.

2. Be kind and gentle to yourself. 

3. Do the best you can do. Don't push past your physical or mental limits.

4. Find a form of exercise that makes you happy. Don't do the ones that make you dislike the workout. If you don't have energy for a workout, do something else for your body like meditating, sitting is a sauna, or sleep if you need it. DON'T HAVE YOUR PHONE on you unless you are using it for music. This is YOUR time to focus on YOU. Put your phone on Do Not Disturb mode to avoid calls and texts if you can.

5. Find happy environments.

6. Avoid people who don't help you feel better. 

7. Nourish your body with good foods, but don't be so regimented that you are miserable.

8. Unfollow all social media accounts that make you feel bad about yourself. THIS IS HARD. But even if 90% of what they post pleases you visually, if even 10% is making you feel bad, give them up. You can always follow later when in a better mental state.

9. Spend time in nature!

10. Be grateful for everything you have. Try to really think about the little conveniences like having such clean water, or access to fresh food. Even just having a mattress or a favorite pillow. :)

So good! Even if you're not depressed at the moment, these are still great tips for a happier life.
