So, this is it!  It marks a huge milestone in that we have come to right around the 50% mark of D:BB!  When I start a new game and go all the way through to this point I am floored by the scope of this title.  I've done thousands of renders and the word count is currently over 170k!  In fact, in MS Word, the whole thing in default sized 11 font is 1001 pages long!

But, this is only the halfway mark, and I still have so much more story to tell, art to share, and emotion to invoke, so here's to the future of D:BB!

Also, another huge thanks for Impresario- this project would never get to be so complicated and unique without his aid!

Items of note:

From now on, if you finish a hunt you unlock access via a Bad Ends menu, to all the Bad Ends.  No need to have more than one saved game (btw Twine games run WAY better the less saved games you have on file).  So, no need to spend a lot of time losing to see them all!  However, you'd need to play a new game, obviously, for all it to work and unlock.

Special, Bad Ends on monster hunts will require that you beat them.  For example, the Plant in Caverns.  If you simply beat caverns, you'd have access to all the Bad Ends... except the hidden ones like the plant.

Story Mode Bad Ends, like the Pink Potion BE in the House of Haggle, must still be selected as an option and then experienced to be added to your Bad End Collection.

i think the sewers have some serious bugs. everytime i try give up on the monsters, the only bad end i get is the katarina babayaga bad end. Also i can't acquire any gold defeating the monsters of the sewers

Oh, yeah, these are also discussed in my Bug channel fo Discord. I appreciate you mentioning them! You and others like you are really great Patron testers!

So I went back and tested the caves hunt, but the ogre is unbeatable, it seems like potions don't work, and he keep hitting me for 150dmg so I'm basically chugging all my health pots every turn. Could you maybe revisit the balancing of this boss, I get that it's supposed to be hard, but it's just not doable.

I am thinking you might mean the troll. It's odd to me because I beat him without any issue, but the game is specifically designed to get easier the more you lose. If you lose, you keep all the gold gained and the mobs respawn, so you can visit the HoH and buy more potions (I assure you they are working) and then go back. Since a person can eventually (especially on the caverns) make a thousand gold per run (and they do not have to buy bombs after the first run once they have used them), they should be able to buy one of every potion type, easily, and still have tons of gold for healing and focus potions. This is the first report of this boss being unbeatable though. On the flip side, I do plan on balancing the "game mode" version at completion. Right now all those potions are WAY too easy to afford and the strength potion is WAY overpowered. So I will likely be tweaking the amount of gold that items cost to make it more challenging. But again, if you get to him and lose, you should have all the gold you gained to reach him and be able to make yourself over-powered and well-stocked on health potions, and then you'll gain even more gold going back to reach him again (and you do not have to redo all the puzzles either)
