It’s the start of another month, and that means another free 20 Things instalment is on its way to you as a thank you for your epic support. This month, we dare to explore a ruined city!

Ruined cities are excellent venues for adventure, but no GM has enough time to fully detail such a place. (And much of that time would no doubt be wasted as few groups are going to explore everything a ruined city has to offer).

That’s where 20 Things #48: Ruined City comes in with five pages of system neutral details you can quickly and easily add to your adventure in a ruined city. I hope you enjoy the book and that you can use it in your campaign soon.

(Also, if you’ve got an idea for something we should cover in the 20 Things line please leave a comment below as I’m always looking for ideas).

Where's My Stuff?

As always, by the time you get this you should have a message from me containing the special secret download code for this book. Just drop it into your browser and you should be good to go. If you have any problems, just drop me a line and I'll sort it out for you.

Thank You

It’s an uncertain for many of us, and I wanted to thank you for continuing to supporting Raging Swan Press. You enable us to keep publishing the kind of books we all use in our campaigns and (just as importantly) pay our freelance designs, artists and cartographers a fair and decent rates.

I hope that wherever you are that you are safe and healthy. I know Raging Swan Press isn’t exactly an emergency service, but if there is anything we can do to help you through the next few weeks don’t hesitate to ask.

Again, thank you for your support.

are we gonna need medieval hasmat gear when we go into this ruined city? and if so, what would that be really? jousting helmets covered in brightly colored scarves? big metal gauntlets? or just several religious charms tied around our wrists and neck? does "protection from evil" work against viruses, or are they neutral in alignment? i have a lot of questions about this ruined city, man ... one more: social distancing in the slums of London around 1100 AD, was that based on the length of a royal appendage do you think?

I'd go with religious charms and a longbow. That way when someone got too close, you could shoot them. Works for all kinds of disasters!
