Hey all!

This is a small set of items that center around the ocean, sealife, and other underwater scenery. Most of these items have been converted from The Sims 3: Island Paradise, with a few adjustments to fit into The Sims 4 and add some functionality. These were originally meant to be included in the upcoming Expanded Mermaids update, but I decided they deserve their own release and hopefully this will be a good set to play with while we wait for the Expanded Mermaids mod to be finished. ;)

Most of these objects are decorative, but there are a few special ones with some gameplay!

"Harvestable Kelp" - This little patch of seaweed is animated and allows your sims to harvest Reef Kelp if you have my Expanded Mermaids mod installed.

"Fan Coral" and "Sand Bed" - These items are great for creating an underwater scene, but they also function like aquariums, which means that filling them with fish will create a small area where they can swim around! *I highly recommend using them in pools to create giant fish tanks!

"Basking Rock" - The most significant gameplay object is the Basking Rock, a supremely nautical lounge chair that mermaids can "Bask" on, complete with mood-specific animations. Mermaids can also practice singing and sing special songs if the City Living expansion is installed!

There are no strict requirements for this set, but some things do require packs or mods to function correctly.

"Soft" Requirements:

Island Living - Required for mermaid-related interactions to be available.

City Living - Required for singing interactions on the Basking Rock to work.

Expanded Mermaids mod - Required for harvesting kelp from the Harvestable Kelp object.

All decorative items are completely base-game compatible!
