Hello again. I wanted to check in to see what you'd like me to work on next.

User Accounts with data sync

This would add a way for you to register for an account which would track the pieces you favorite and your listen time. Then, if you clear the site's local data (in your browser), your account data would still exist and get restored next time you logged in. If you use more than one device, your favorites and listening data will be the same on every device you're logged in on.

Sort by Global Popularity

I thought it would be a good feature to sort pieces by "popularity," which would be some function of the number of people who've favorited the piece and/or the total listen time across all users. I'm not actually collecting this data yet, so I'll need to start doing that first. This would make it easier to find pieces that other people like, so you wouldn't have to wade through the stinkers unless you wanted to.

Performance Research

Depending on the piece and the device, sometimes the audio quality suffers and starts to click or pop. I'm not exactly sure what, if anything, I can do to fix this, but I do know where to start looking. If this is the highest priority for you, I'll make it mine as well. The risk here is that I come back empty handed, but I don't think that's likely; a couple approaches seem very promising.

As always, if there's something else you'd like me to work on just let me know in the comments. Thanks!

Dang, I must be the only one having sound issues. Granted, I don't have the best phone in the world (LG G7 ThinQ) but I tend to hear pops/clicks quite a bit. It's very noticeable in Last Transit for example, running in Chrome. Anybody else experiencing this? Does this happen on iPhones or Samsung phones?

I was surprised that wasn't more popular. Depending on the piece, I get plenty of pops and clicks on my Pixel 2. It might not be an issue for most since ~68% of users are on desktop, but I would like to get better performance on mobile devices too.

Well, I was waiting for the tie to break on this but since that never happened I think I will just flip a coin ;)
