> BONUS: WILD CARD! #14

Collar beeping, Erza ran, her bare soles clapping against the cobblestones of the resort.

Beside her floated a swarm of the omnipresent cat’s eyes. She wanted to ignore them, but it was difficult when their pupils kept flashing…

“Hey, everyone!” said Taberu’s giant floating head. “It’s time for more Wild Cards! That’s right, you triggered two more! Let’s see what we’ve got, nya!”

Erza grimaced. Her nipples and sex still ached from the last pair.

Once the deck had finished shuffling, two cards flipped off of its top: one showing a broken pipe, the other displaying a mob of naked shoppers.

“Oooh!” said Taberu. “We got two zone-specific cards this time. It’s no. 9: Chemical Spill! and no. 12: Flash Sale! If nyou’re in the relevant areas… enjoy!”

Erza looked around and allowed herself to resume breathing. It didn’t look like either would affect her…

As the cobblestones beneath her turned to sand, however, the cat’s eyes flashed again. Erza groaned.

“Oh, the next set of votes just finished too, nya!” cried Taberu. “Guess what we got! Another Wild Card!”

Another card flipped to reveal an erupting volcano.

“Oooh!” No. 14: Eruption! If nyou’re in Lewd Lab right nyow, the game’s about to become a little–heh–harder.”

Erza released a sigh of relief. She was safe.

Ahead, the vast wall of the central pyramid filled her sight, taller and wider than anything she’d ever seen. A gigantic pair of gates, ten times her height at minimum, stood in its center. As she approached, they shuddered and swung open with an ominous thoom. She paused, steeled herself, and took a step inside.

As the door slammed shut behind her, Erza froze, shadow dancing across the walls as the flames lighting the corridor flickered. The many statues of catgirls leered down at her, looking as if they wanted to drop their bowls and grope her boobs.

With every second, Erza’s heart pounded a little harder. What was she doing, running ahead on her own like this? She didn’t even have a weapon! If it came to a fight, what was she meant to do?

From ahead came the sound of voices, Swallowing, she crept towards them.

Poking her head past the end of the corridor, she found herself looking down on a gigantic, sand-filled arena fenced by the three sides of the pyramids. A catgirl floated in the air above, flipping through a magazine. She flicked Erza a glance but otherwise paid her no attention.

Squinting, Erza saw two figures rummaging around the rocks and the statues. She thought she saw another in one of the other corridors, but she couldn’t tell if it was just her eyes playing tricks on her.

What should she do?
