"Grog" is just a way for us to track our release !

Dear Patrons !

Time for a new release ! It's not a huge one but we're pleased of the results !

Before that though, we want to thank all of you for your continued support, it's humbling to see our community growing more and more every day. You're all awesome ! 😭 💙 💛

For this release we made a new "Bite" animation which quite a lot of you requested as well as the second level "Shatter" spell, the "Thunderwave" cantrip and the javelin and spear ranged weapon animations !
We're not quite satisfied with the melee attacks yet, plus we want to make sure they're ready to be used in conjunction with the "reach" property so we don't have to come back and modify them later on !

We also integrated a lot of our spells within FX Master as seen in the video above ! Big shout out to U~Man, its creator for adding that functionality ! That's awesome ! 👌

We are also experimenting with our favourite modeling software "Blender" on the side to bring you new exclusive Patreon content as so many of you may have noticed in our Discord !
It's a tool that would allow you to animate some features on your own battlemaps, like adding a distortion to the water for example !
We first thought of creating the maps for you but the licensing for commercial and non-commercial redistribution can be very tricky. So why not teach you how to fish rather than catch one for you ? ;)
The idea behind it would be to give access to an already prepared blender project file to our "epic" tier patrons and above. Instructions within the project file itself would be provided to help you through it.
Honestly, it can seem overwhelming at first but once you do it once or twice, it's quite straightforward I promise ! It's still a work in progress that we'd like to fine tune with your help. 🙏
We have made a proof of concept that we're sharing with our "epic" and "legendary" tier patrons right now for feedback.

Anyways, without further ado, here is our new content ! We hope you like it. :)

How to access our content :
Same as last release

Foundry users

  1. Uninstall the free module. You don't need it anymore
  2. Download our zip file from itch.io HERE. It contains ALL of our assets
  3. Drag and Drop the 'jb2a_patreon' folder into your modules folder
    (\Data\modules)
  4. Launch Foundry or restart it if it's running. The 'JB2A Complete Collection" should have appeared in the list of modules in the 'Add-on Modules' tab.
  5. Activate our module from your World as you would do any other module and that's it ! Enjoy !

Forge users

  • Uninstall our free module and install our premium patreon module in the Forge bazaar as usual.
    As a note, I believe you will find your assets in the "My Assets Library" tab. The macros will still function with the "Data/Module" path thanks to some magic from KaKaRoTo I may never quite understand

  • Download our zip file from itch.io HERE. Find the 'Library' folder. It contains all of our assets.

If I already have this uploaded, do I need to upload each update, or will this just update in Foundry

For now, we haven't found a practical way to set that up with Foundry without giving away the download link . We will most likely split our next release with a "complete collection" and a "Patch-Update" which wil contain only new spells and will be of a much smaller size. Sorry for the inconveniance. If you know of a smarter way, we're open to suggestions though !

ok, I think for Bailey Wiki maps i also upload but it only takes what is new, so hopefully it flows that way

will you also be looking at integrating with token magic FX to get some sort of import for overrides? saving all the set up now the library is growing

That is a really cool idea, I like it ! Not sure how practical it would be without a folder structure though... worth thinking about it and getting in touch with its creator. Thanks for the suggestion !
