Dear Patrons,

First up, we will be closing the July Survey first thing tomorrow morning (8am UK time) so if you want to give us your views on our next release and a few other things, the survey is HERE.

More information about some of the questions we ask in the survey was in the last Patreon post HERE.   Thanks for your help.

Next, this is awesome and I wanted to share it with you all. Patron Usiell sent me photos of his completed Giant Exo-Lord. On the right is the Exo-Lord character from the Welcome pack printed at normal scale, and the bigger version is printed at 300%, standing a huge 110mm tall!

Printing our designs at a larger scale for busts/painting projects is one of the most interesting possibility opened up by digital files. We understand the big version was printed in several sections, at 50um layer height, and may have been hollowed to save resin.

Finally, here are the Exo-Lord Scale Automata.  These robots will be broadly the same designs but are not just scaled up versions. We have redesigned the joint system to be compatible and interchangeable with our Exo-Lord range, and the parts have had a bit more detail added.

You can use whichever scale of robot best suits your project, or mix both in a combined force!

We will have more to show off next week!

Thanks everyone!

Team Anvil

So does that mean we are getting both Regiments and Exo-Lord scale robot parts?

anvildigitalforge

Thats correct. There will be 5 Regiments scale poses, and 3 Exo-Lord scale, with 2 torso options and multiple head options for each scale.

Hey, stupid question, I've read the EULA but still this is eating my mind, can i use bits from you on third party models? Like I have a primaris marine and decide to use some of your robots arms or head or are they limited to use exclusively with your own models?

Well I was thinking of printing an army of the small robots but now it looks like I will be doing some big bois!

anvildigitalforge

That would be absolutely fine! Anything which is hobby, and doesn't result in your making money, or other people using the designs without paying, is likely to be ok. Thanks for asking for clarification :)
