I’m so glad my agony has ended! Lol I have been working through your BTS reactions and it was just killing me that you were missing all the visual and live performance elements to their art. It’s really a huge part of their identity as artists. I’m so glad you are wise to it now (at this juncture in reactions) and I can look forward to more reactions like the ones in this compilation. i do totally understand the thing about namjoon being a comfort person. he is to me too, i think just because of his ability to write so honestly, so openly. he has always been very open, not afraid to speak up about real and human things that most singers shy away from because of the intricacies of them. he’s not afraid of making mistakes and genuinely apologizing and evolving and learning, and just how he lives his life, going to museums, riding his bike, listening to music, how can you not love him?

as someone who has been to 15 pentatonix concerts (and a few private performance vips where they sang off mic) i can confirm that it is quite the experience to see them live!! as far as albums go i’d recommend their 2015 self-titled album to start - it’s their first majority original album (with a few covers included as well) and it’s very indicative of their classic pentatonix sound! their most recent original album “the lucky ones” plays more with production elements and leans more pop than a cappella if that makes sense so i think it’s better to start with the first one since you’re just getting into them :)

AAA FINALLY SOME TWICE! i’ve been a mixer for the longest time, and got into twice just last year. feel special was written during a particularly hard time during twice’s career. two members revealed that they had anxiety (one went on hiatus, even), they were overworked, their personal lives were being exposed, there were lots of false rumors circulating them at the time, and it was just a really tough year in general. the song was written to show how despite everything, they always have each other and i think it’s so beautiful. their friendship and sisterhood is one of the things that made me fall in love with them. much like little mix, you can tell that they genuinely love each other to pieces and that they’re more than just coworkers treat each other like family <3

funnily enough, you also reacted to kang daniel, who dated one of the twice members (the leader and main vocalist, jihyo– one of the members who revealed that she had anxiety) back when feel special came out. idols dating is a huge thing in korea and is usually seen negatively, so their relationship being revealed to the public highly contributed to the stress they were going through during that year. they broke up late 2020 though

I actually requested it when you were asking for album recommendations back in January but that clearly didn't work. But seriously, it's one of the best pop albums out there and the best ranked kpop album ever on metacritic with a review of over 90/100. I’m glad that you enjoyed the grammys performance! West Side Story is a musical, so you’d get plenty of singing. The play as a whole at least storyline wise I don’t really agree with it, but I think it was performed and filmed well. When I first watched WSS, I was unaware of the allegations/controversies surrounding the main male actor Ansel Elgort. Ironically, he was the worst actor in the film and all of the others outperformed and overshadowed him. Out of respect I wanted to make sure that you know this before hand. But even still, I think that the performances, the cinematography and music alone make this a worth-it watch.

for pentatonix they have two full original albums, self titled pentatonix (2015) which has a couple covers mixed in and the newest one, the lucky ones. personally i think they've grown a lot in terms of song writing with the lucky ones however it's less traditional a capella since they use some vocal effects and layering, everything still starts with voices only but the production makes it lean more towards a traditional pop album. if you decide to pick a cover album i would say top pop vol 1 would be terrific! most of their early EPs have both originals and covers so they've always done both! also i've seen them live twice and they are so hype on stage they've even blown out speakers with the bass singing you wouldn't feel for a second like you're watching a show choir it's a full on pop concert! i'm definitely thinking of bringing a live video of them for next month :) also their big evolution videos are ari, michael jackson, beyonce, and rihanna

to answer your pentatonix broadway question- Kirstin has been on broadway! she was in Kinky Boots february-april 2018 and hopes to do more shows in the future! Kirstin, Mitch, and Scott all grew up doing theater. The three of them went to high school together & formed a singing trio, then after high school Scott wanted to audition for the tv show “The Sing-Off” so he called Mitch & Kirstin and they agreed to join him, but they needed a bass and a beatboxer. They got connected with Avi through a mutual friend Scott shared with him - Ben Bram (he’s one of ptx’s producers & arrangers to this day). As far as a beatboxer they literally just typed “beatboxer” into youtube and found a video of Kevin playing cello and beatboxing (highly recommend checking out some of his solo covers - Down & Sign of the Times are my faves) so Scott sent him a message offering to fly him out to audition and the rest is history! I should also mention that Kev was pre-med at Yale at the time - he’s truly the most talented man on the planet haha

yaaay ! i was just in time for this, as always loved your reaction and i'm so happy to hear you'll be doing tylers album!! my advice is to listen to the last three (call me if you get lost, IGOR and flower boy) mostly cause his lyrics and approach changed (imo for the better). As far as the scum bag flower boy it's just a different name mainly to make a contrast between his previus work where his music was more violent to now where he embraces his more "femenine" side if that makes sense. Also the guy on the video is ASAP Rocky who's also featured on the album. I guess i should request a Kali song for this month so u can jump on board with her too cause she's great and i think she will fit perfectly with your taste in music. She has done a few more features with tyler wich u should check out too, they're an amazing duo Anyway i got so excited when u said u were doing a hip hop week !! can't wait for that <3

last comment and then i’m heading to bed haha - the other pentatonix evolution vids are: evolution of music, evolution of beyoncé, evolution of michael jackson, and evolution of rihanna - the first three are with avi & rihanna is with matt! honestly if you want to react to those as well as their daft punk music video as an intro on the channel before covering an album i’d support that choice! obviously their albums are incredible, but since you’re just getting into them i think it definitely helps to put faces to what you’re hearing :)

When I heard Taylor passed away I had to really sit in my feelings for a couple days. His death really took me out in a way no other celebrity death has before. He was a special human. That aside, I think they chose a wonderful performance lineup for the Grammys in memorium. They all sounded great. I see the pentaholics came out in force for May 😂 But I'm here for it! When getting into Pentatonix, I almost think that an album reaction isn't the way to go. Their catalogue and getting to know them almost... Doesn't work? Unless you watch the videos, and some of their most interesting and fun stuff aren't on albums at all, like their evolutions of... mashups. I would actually suggest just picking through their YouTube channel tbh. I LOVE that you pick out Kirstie! I think she gets overlooked a lot, but she's such a killer vocalist. I’ve never really liked The Sound of Silence just in general, but this version is so cool and they all just crush it. You're right about Scott; he's really versatile and is such an asset to them in that regard (in all regards! But in that regard specifically). I love Hozier! Andrew’s voice never fails to sucker-punch me. I would love to see more of him on the channel. His second album is definitely worth listening to. Most, if not all of the artists he's referencing in this song have protest songs for the civil rights movement. Nina Simone, Marvin Gaye etc. The Mavis he mentions is the same Mavis that is the featured vocalist on this song, which is very cool. I so miss Avi as PTX’s bass vocalist, but I think Matt has stepped into that role so superbly. I remember when they released Bohemian Rhapsody and the internet, like, shattered lol You’re favourite at this point is Mitch, and you're not alone in that! I think he's my favourite as well, just in terms of his tone and his emotional impact on me. Kirstin has actually been on Broadway! She was in Kinky Boots a few years ago! And Scott and Mitch also both did musical theatre in high school, if I recall, so you're not wrong to equate them to that sort of style/vibe. These evolution videos are some of my favourites they do! They have a bunch, but The Evolution of Michael Jackson video is a standout right off the top of my head. I'm not that familiar with Ariana’s music, so I hadn't watched this one before, but I think their attitude really works for Ariana’s vibe. Their beatboxer is Kevin! He's a freaking genius and I adore him. Really great reactions, Michael! Very excited for parts 2 and 3(!!!)

I'm so excited for Born Singer to finally be available on streaming platforms. They released it on their SoundCloud back in 2013 and sang it live twice: one on their first ever concert in 2015 and then at the end of their wings tour on late 2017 (that's where the two different footages in this video came from), but they never officially released it and I'm so happy that's the song that will open the first disc like this is actually their very beginning

You should really consider doing an album reaction to Hozier’s “Wasteland, Baby!” Album. If you loved his first album, I guarantee you’ll love this one. My favorite song off that album is probably “Shrike” or “Be”… every song on that project is really unique though.

It made total sense. Just to add to this the rappers changed their lyrics that is why some of the translations have too lines "L" and "R" indicating which side of the screen is singing what. Also worth me turning when they first sang it live they started facing in to the circle them ended facing out and in the version after its the opposite, they end facing each other. Also since am already commenting on the zero o'clock video it's two versions at once these were online concerts over two days so that video had both versions side by side.

Yesss...I loved this performance of Carrie because it does showcase her stardom/stage presence and this was a medley of the singles off her "Blown Away" album. I definitely recommend seeing her in person. Her shows are awesome! I've been to one of them, back in 2010 and it was the best night ever. Sat front row and everything lol she waved at me at the end which of course was the highlight of the night 😂 and yesss 10 days until "Denim & Rhinestones" comes out. I. Can't. Wait. Great reaction as always!!! 😀

i love how u said 'u don't get that long to perform' for the 6 minute performance. imagine the 37 minute BTS MMA performance hahaha... also J-hope, Jimin and Jungkook (3J) are the official dance line. I've never been to a concert of theirs before T-T. But idk if i could ever rank it. but if i have to, the Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Tour, and the PTD Vegas... praying i get to see these men live at least one day of my life

Jin released this on his birthday and Jin LOVES fishing so this is such a fun song. Love love him for this. - BTS MMA 2019 & 2018 is my absolute favorite BTS award show performance. I swear the 2019 just blew my mind so much and I also ask myself the same question how they keep blowing my expectations over and over again. - And yes! I can confirm it was J-Hope in the beginning with Jimin. - Wow, your amazing, because J-Hope and Jimin are actually the main dancers of BTS while Jungkook and V are the lead dancers. - Yes, it was JK hanging on the ceiling in the beginning. HAHAHAH - JIN VOCAL APPRECIATION! I LOVE his vocals and he ate that performance up and left no crumbs. That high note melted me - I think you got V and Jungkook mixed up for the Dionysus/Not Today and the ON kinetic manifesto film BUT! it’s totally okay! I used to also mix up V and JK. It takes time! Please don’t apologize! It seems like your mixing them up so let me help with how I did it. - Jungkook usually has a “purple” in-ear mic and microphone. While V has a “dark green” in-ear mic and microphone. I wanna say I’m so happy to see you truly enjoy the boys and appreciate them so much for everything. I would say, my favorite tour is Love Yourself: Wembley and the PTD Las Vegas: Day 4. But Wings tour is also up there. Ahhhh! Your asking such a hard questionnn.

The love yourself speak yourself tour to me was just top tier of top tiers. I also had front row VIP and saw them perform in front of me like literally 10 ft from my face!!! But man if you were there….and saw the end!!!!! If you watch a concert, that should be the one. Make sure you get an army bomb before watching it though! ;)

AHHH So happy you got introduced to Connor’s side project, I wanted to send that myself but I am dead set on sending The Vamps music at the moment, though you reacting to The Lunar Year’s EP would be amazing tbh. Super Tuna! The lyrics to Super Tuna are even more endearing. It's like if baby shark and an anime had a baby about Jin and his love for fishing. Jin is the most not serious of the group hahaha. He can definately turn it on when he wants to or needs too but in general hes gonna show up and give you the jokes and levity you need. (Like in Permission to Dance Las Vegas where he did the last section of the set list with his hair tied up in a pony tails with bows on them) Also, fun fact, he did not intend for Super Tuna to become as popular as it did. He released it as a present for Festa and then it started breaking records and went viral on tiktok. He was so embarrassed 😭🤣🤣🤣 (The month of June we celebrate their debut anniversary by BTS giving us a lil present every day until the day they put on a concert with special performances not seen on tour. It's where we get to see mixtape songs, and silly choreo that wouldnt be right for the main tours.) Trivia Love! You arent weird for thinking of RM as a comfort person. I dont know of anyone who would disagree. He is intelligent but gentle. He is the kind of person who will ask if you want a solution to a problem or if you just want to vent. His heart is so big, that's why his chest is so large 🤣. The hearts and stuff were live! At the concert you wouldnt see them if you looked at him, but they would be on the big moniters that displayed behind him (which most seats, especially the farther back ones are looking at most the time because of distance.) The lights are choreographed along with the rest of the performance. He had to be in the right place when they showed up. They use this one more time in a future performance with all of them that is truely magical. Born Singer! I can not wait for your reaction to the lyrics of this song. When you are able to focus on them they will move you. I wont go into detail but it's one of BTSs most special songs for a reason. Fun Fact: J Hopes name is inspired by J Cole. You're getting to the earlier stuff so your really going to understand just how important hip hop/rnb is for Bangtan. They are true blue fans of the genre and know what they are talking about in regards to it. Its formed them into the men they are today. (Spacifically the rap line, who did the heavy lifting in regards to lyric writing. Expecially in the beginning.) MAMA Performance! MAMA is what we wish we got at the Grammys. I loved their Grammy performances but they are so limited in America as to what they can do and show its heartbreaking to know they have yet to be able to truely show their full range on American broadcasts. But even this MAMA isnt their most impressive. Most have already said the 2019 version is 37 mins long but its truely amazing all the way through. Dont watch it until you've caught up with all the albums tho 😉. Even if it's not the most impressive in comparison this is still one of the performances that will linger in my mind as one of the reasons BTS blew me away and made me a fan. The Lie/Boy Meets Evil duet will forever stick with me. Did you notice Jimin was Blindfolded???? Also, yes! That was Jungkook! His only complaint about being up there was that the harnesses made his hips sore. Lmaoooo. I have 2 complaints about this though, 1)the camera man cut off so much of their choreo for BST. BST choreo is insane, and you couldnt even see some of the coolest parts. The part where you could only see ass and legs was Jungkook and he was litterally doing a handstand and in slow motion lowering his body to the floor. Can you imagine having that much body control and MUSCLE? Ahhhhhhh. Anyways. Maybe someone will suggest the Dance Practice or something. It's a masterpiece. 00:00!!! Your comment about how they are all front and center vocalists is exactly correct. Just how the rap line are all front and center entertainers as well. Even the ones who didnt know how to do what they are now doing before they joined are more than capable of going solo and SUCCEEDING. Also, I love how affectionate you are for Jungkook. I think I've said this before, but it feels like people kind of notice that hes the main vocalist and write him off for some reason. Like a "hes the main, of course hes good" kind of attitude. And I get it, but Jungkook really does deserve praise for how beautiful his voice is. And all the Jin love weve been getting makes me Emo but we will get there later. Actually, let's just get into that right now! Epiphany! JIIIIIIIIIIIN 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 The fact that he had absolutely no vocal background before he joined BTS will forever astonish me. Of course he has to have had a natural talent, he never sang bad by any means. But he had no training. But he has worked so much harder then everyone else in regards to catching up with everyone else performance wise (singing, dancing, stage presence, everything.) And I'm so glad hes finally starting to get the recognition he deserves for it within the last couple years. He is an inspiration to so many people because of how hard hes worked and how fuuuucking good he is now. (Sry for cursing but its necissary) Epiphany the GOAT ON!!!!! When On came out I had been an ARMY for 4 years. I was STOKED but I wasnt prepared to be absolutely floored. I was so overwhelmed with how talented they are even then after so much time. And then they performed ON live at Grand Central Station for Jimmy Fallon and included the dance break. Straight through. It was just as impactful. Clean mics. Not a step out of time. Full energy. And I felt like I was going to pass out just watching them. It's hard to wrap your head around it. They are so GD talented it hurts.

Jin is such a funny guy. If you ever watch any of the Run BTS shows, you'll see how he's such a kid. And I love watching Jin and JK interact. The oldest and the youngest. They are totally chaotic together. I hope you'll get to see J-Hope and Suga (Sope) perform Otsukare song, you will see a different side of Suga. Like others have said, MMA 2018 and 2019 are special. Their performance of Idol at the 2018 MMA and Dionysus at the 2019 are epic! You've talked about wanting to watch them practice the choreography, there are dance practice videos but those are not exactly them practicing, but showing you just the choreography. CBS Sunday Morning show once visited them during their Boys with Luv practice and you can see J-Hope being the dance leader. I've not seen them live, but my daughter and I watched the Seoul Day 1 concert online in March. There is a documentary called Burn the Stage about their Wings Tour which I have watched and I think you would enjoy it. Watching J-Hope perform Mama live is an experience. Epiphany is such a beautiful song! I've always loved their live version of songs more than the studio version. I hope you will see Crystal Snow and watch Jin and his amazing range. Born Singer - what an emotional song. It makes me cry every time, thinking about their early struggles and their commitment not just to their art but to each other. Did you watch their press conference at the White House today? I was so very proud of them. From their humble beginnings to becoming global superstars who can influence world leaders, wow. The choreography for On and Dionysus are two of the harder, if not the hardest ones for BTS. But all their choreos are on point. Picking a favorite BTS tour is tough. Part of me wants to say permission to dance because I saw them in LA this past December and it was so special because it was their first concerts since late 2019. It was amazing and emotional and definitely more than a little unhinged. Otherwise I would say the love yourself speak yourself tour, the wings tour, or on stage epilogue. It's so hard to pick!! I'm so glad someone recommended the dionysus/not today performances. That is how they started the concerts for the love yourself speak yourself tour in 2019. Wild. As someone who has loved BTS for many years now, I can guarantee that feeling of "oh wow I get it" happens again and again. Part of what makes them so special is their ability to grow and change while maintaining their core values. They always want to show us something better than what they showed before, so we are constantly amazed and proud. I would not be surprised if you continue to have that feeling in the future.

I feel like their offical docs are ao great for seing how they work behind the scenes and their personalities and thoughts and then something like in the soop or bon voyage season 4 is amazing for more of their amazing bond with each other. My most favourite concert is the love yourself (speak yourself), with the night in Sao Paolo, the energy is insane. Although wings and some of the older concerts are also fantastic, that speak yourself sao paolo concert is my fav I think !!

Thank you to the ARMY's for the custom requests! Born Singer creates a special place in everyone's hearts also because it reminds us of the struggles BTS pushed through to be where they are today. I would really recommend watching one of the Introduction to BTS videos on youtube to know the entire journey. There is a lot more content for you to watch and I'm happy and glad to see you o this journey. Jin's vocal appreciation was totally necessary. In the past, he has been ignored and criticized a lot compared to the other members so this reaction was absolutely beautiful to witness. How many more times can you have an ‘I get in now’ moment with BTS? The limit doesn’t exist?? 🤣 I’ve been an army for a little over 3 years now, but new about them since their debut, because of my little sister (well my best friend’s little sister but I feel weird calling her anything less than my sister). She would show me videos and I would think it was cool but I wouldn’t SEE it, if that makes sense so I missed out on many years. I would say the first year or two with discovering things I had that moment countless times with their talents but also just with who they are as human beings. Now I think I’m just completely in love, not so much surprised anymore as I just feel immense pride and think yup my boys are that good and special … it physically makes my heart hurt on the regular how much I love them as performers and people. They could truly never sing or dance or anything ever again and I’d still be completely in love with them. I know we, army, as a collective are loud and request so much and all the get to know them stuff is so long but its because we get so much joy and peace and laughter and honesty and sincerity and and and from them and they’re so dynamic it’s truly so hard to quickly describe them and on top of that there are 7 🤣 This is getting way too long, but just know that, yes you’ve seen more, but truly there is so much more to learn about them that will give you that feeling. I hope it’s becoming fun and less overwhelming because that’s all the guys want is to be a positive (though some of the moments are hard) strength in peoples lives. Please put our comments away when they’re too much and just have fun. 💜💚 On the tour question, they’re all great in their own way and I can’t pick a favorite. 😕 But I think I would say for a starting place maybe Love Yourself: Speak Yourself The Final in Seoul. It was their very last love yourself concert after 2.5 years and last concert before covid. Their ending ments (speeches they give towards the end of the concert) are one of my favorites, though they have many great ones something about that tour ending is extra special. Jin gets choked up talking about it being the last time he’ll sing epiphany live and Namjoon/RM’s speech … ahh that man, talking about comfort person? Wait until you hear him give a speech. They’ve given many high profile speeches like at the UN and they truly are wonderful, but for me it’s the speeches on vlive and concerts that are the most touching, and at this one in particular RM gets choked up (out of all the members he is one that typically cries the least along with suga and Jin) so it’s extra emotional that he couldn’t hold the tears back

I’m listening to you describing the I get it moment and honestly it doesn’t end. Everytime these boys bring out anything I get the feeling. They are truly the most talented group from singing, rapping, dancing, lyricism and performance. But what I’m really excited for you to get to is to know the boys personalities and how they are the most humble and kind people. You would never think they are the biggest boyband in the world. They are absolutely hilarious and they always bring a smile to your face. Iv never seen a celebrity care so much about their fans and the world issues they speak on. They were just at the White House and met with President Biden yesterday to discuss Anti Asian Hate and that is just one of many times BTS has spoken on important matters. Yesssss!!! To all of this! Just to add to Supertuna, it was actually released for his birthday! But the last Jin song for festa was Abyss, which is a very emotional song, and he wanted to make a lighter song. He has said before that he uses making other people laugh and feel happy to make himself happy so this sort of thing is his favorite thing to do. He is always lightening the mood! :) And after making the video he went with the back up dancers and crew to 6 flags wearing those outfits. The stuffed animals in it are dogs toys and they sold out after this dropped. 🤣 When making the choreo with their performance director he said that he wanted it super easy so one was made and Jin said it was too hard still and the performance director wondered if he should put something out like Super Tuna when they’re at the level they are but I’m sooo glad he did. I love it so much.

Idk if you knew that but The Foo Fighters were announced to perform at the Grammys and I believe it was the very next day (or a few days? less than a week) that Taylor passed. Of course, the grammys aren't the most important thing, but the timing of it made it feel ... eerie? I guess is the word. :(

Also, BORN SINGER 😭😭😭 Honestly, they might switch up the lyrics again for Proof? The two times they’ve performed it (which the video showed clips of both) they switched up the raps. If they re-write them for where they are today I’ll be even more of a puddle of tears … as will they if they perform it live. They can’t get through it without tears. It’ll be the very first track on the very first cd to start out their story of their journey of music on Proof! 😭😭😭

On the MAMA performance so many things to say but to keep it short, sometimes the camera work is terrible and some of my favorite parts of the dance are cut out so I recommend watching the dance practice!!! The mv is just pure art but you don’t see all the dance in that. I do love that performance overall though! And fire was done after that, so they were allotted more like 12 minutes and it was jk hanging in the beginning! On not having insight on that aspect, trust me we just enjoy watching people enjoy them! And you have amazing commentary!

Basically more unique concerts … like they’ll take a serious song and do it in a cute way or cute songs into a more serious or sexy way or do old songs they don’t do at concerts anymore or do their solo works, like this year I wouldn’t be surprised if they did super tuna. If you ever get to watch that have in mind that they're performing it in front of an industry that tried to take them down from the start and watch them be absolute dominating kings. Thank you for this absolute treat for my ears and eyes!! I've been watching all morning. I am always going to be here for watching you fall deeper into the clutches of BTS, but it's been a lovely way to spend the day hearing all these other amazing artists. My first BTS album was also BE, so while I don't have a favorite era since I'm still a fairly new ARMY, BE will always remind me how I found them during the pandemic, and the fun, love, and joy from BTS and ARMY has just carried me since. I've watched the Love Yourself, Speak Yourself shows more than any other, but every cue sheet, costumes, choreo, lighting, comments are chosen with such care for each show, that I can't pick a favorite. When you finally have the time and a chance to sit down and watch a full concert or one of the tour documentaries, I (and a bunch of the rest of us) will be here with our popcorn and ARMY bombs watching you continue to lose your @#!& and fall in love with these 7 humans even more 💜

Sorry about the long comment haha I got excited - Supertuna was released by Jin at his birthday as a gift to Army, like a secret gift to make Army happy because it is like a joke song but then it became viral, Amry trended everywhere, there were tiktok challenges and the song was even used by the Korean Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries. It was everywhere and it is still charting haha - During RM's Trivia Love at 11:35, the lights you see are visible for the audience live but only through the screens. They are added live not as post production. It is a really cool effect, especially when the performance is at night. And yes, you need to see them live. It is an awesome experience. - Hozier is one of my favorite artists. His work has so much power even when it is smooth and sutil. It has a magic spell that just hipnotize you and put you in the mood of the song imediately. Just amazing. - the BTS live at MAMA you watched actually is not the full version. They did another song right after Blood, Sweat and Tears (Fire) and it was an AWESOME close to the whole thing. So the video contains footage of both days of the concert, that is why you have them duplicaed on the screen like that. - That Dionysus + Not Today performance is the opening of their last World Tour: Speak Yourself. It is just perfect combo of hyped songs to get you in the mood for the show. - 3:34:50 Epiphany is such a beautiful and emotional song and then, you get Jin's perfect vocals pulling you heart with the intensiness of it all. Then you get the other members coming along to follow that perfection of performance with The truth Untold, so we got double attacked with beauty and power and emotions. It was too much to handle. - If you are interested in more girl groups, I'd suggest checking Mamamoo and Red Velvet as well. They are amazing vocalists and have very interesting sounds.

As a non-dancer, you did a really good job of pointing out the difference between J-Hope and Jimin's styles! J-Hope has a large background in hip hop and street style dancing while Jimin was trained in contemporary before joining BigHit. That's why even when he's dancing with BTS, Jimin is always super fluid. You get to see a lot more of his training in the Black Swan music video!

Aaaaah!!! this was so much fun to watch, thanks so much for your amazing videos! One of my favorite BTS concerts is the BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself in Sao Paulo, such an amazing energy and the guys seemed to enjoyed it so much! I have a very special place in my heart for the Vegas Permission to dance ones since I was able to go with my sister (first ARMY in the house). I also love the MOTS ON:E (the 00:00 o'clock performance is from that one) it's different since it was online due to the pandemic, but I love the songs there. Regarding RM's performance: they are using AR... So you could see it on the screen in real time, but not physically on the stage. RM also customises the handwritten message at the end. He writes it by end before the concert depending on the location of where they are. ❤️

Hozier was my #1 on the Spotify wrapped for 2020; it was one of the only things that helped in the face of morgue trucks and the flaming police cars outside my window. "Uplifting" is SUCH a great world. Mavis Staples, the LEGEND, is in the lyrics and standing next to him,. Would be fantastic if you checked out Wasteland Baby (2019) - it's the album after Hozier (the one you know) and it's beautiful and rich. And if you haven't listened to Nina Simone, oh, what a treat you'll have to hear her for the first time. Everyone on that list - some of the absolute greatest voices in history who spoke truth to power and wrote/sang the great protest songs.

Pentatonix comment incoming, i’ll try to keep it short :) Basically they have two original albums (pentatonix and the lucky ones) and some original songs sprinkled into their cover albums as well. If you want to do an original album, I recommend doing the selftitled one. In my opinion it’s way better than their latest album. If not, just go in order of release and start at PTX Vol. 1 to really see their growth. Few other comments: - your favourite voice belongs to mitch, and these videos are not even close to what he can pull off. truly an amazing singer. - my favourite broadway song that they did is waving through a window from dear evan hansen - if you want to see what their tour is like they did vlogs from their tours from 2014-2019 called the PTXperience - do evolution of michael jackson next, you won’t be dissapointed :)

My BTS besties have come to the conclusion [esp after watching TXT and Enhypen] that HYBE teaches levitation. When 14 shoes are in the air and they hit the ground at the same time, sounding like ONE pair, you've graduated.

Wow that was a fun watch. I love Pentatonix, I actually first saw them when they won the acapella competition that was on TV, I think it was called ‘Sing’ but can’t remember 100%. Watching them battle their way to winning and then seeing them just continue to grow has been awesome. Their voices and ability to build intricate harmonies is masterful. And BTS are my all time favorite group. The Love Yourself tour was just spectacular, because they were really hitting their stride and the whole message was just so powerful. While I was not able to see them in person, I will never forget watching the live stream of the concert at Wembley. What a moment in time. Sadly when I scored tickets for the Map of the Soul 7 tour, it was cancelled due to COVID, which would have been my first one in person. I definitely recommend watching Rise of Bangtan Series, it is created by Army and is a fantastic documentary style series that really goes in depth with their story through the years. There are also BTS documentaries like Break the Silence, Bring the Soul…that would be worth looking at. Also, you should watch more of the award show performances, if you thought the one you saw was good, holy moses, just you wait. I’m sure there are other Army that can give you more links to some of their other performances. Side note, Hozier is now on my playlist, that song had me from the start.

Thanks so much for all the BTS reactions, I'm glad you've come to hold them as dear as all of us do! I first became a fan in mid-late 2017 so it's been about 5 years for me, aka DNA era, but I'm still continuously amazed at how talented they are every single day. Genuinely every single day. They almost feel like an anomaly because of talented they are, as well how well they blend together and how they GENUINELY love each other, but I know hours of practice and arguments and makeups went into making them the close and talented group we know today. There was a set of concerts they had during Run era called HYYH: On Stage, and I have rewatched that entire concert on youtube a million times. It's one of my fav tracklists and its ALL live band arrangements of every song, and it's just incredible. Love Yourself tour was truly something to be a fan through though, because man, we were collectively all shocked nearly every single track during the opening concert (which we all love to illegally livestream on twitter whether or not we're there) because of all the solo choreography, surprises, etc.

- Namjoon for sure has a comfort energy, can't wait for you to get to his mixed tape 'mono' very comforting album - 3J is the name for the three main dancers which are indeed jimin, jhope and jungkook. jimin has a background in contemporary dance and jhope's is in street dance and hip hop which explains their different styles for the same choreo. i agree that watching jimin dance is like watching an angel - Jin bias here, i love epiphany so much. love seeing appreciation for our silver voiced king - I've been to their concert for their WINGS tour, it was amazing but I wish they had come to my country for LY era because i love that album so damn much - can you imagine shooting 'ON' in mid day summer heat in leather jackets and keep that energy in the dancing! ON was actually the first dance I learned from BTS so I really dived in at the deep end - whoever requested TWICE i love you, please listen to more!

A cool idea (if it hasn’t already been suggested) for Pentatonics is do their performances on Sing Off! They participated and won a season of that competition giving them their break. If you watch their parts you’ll not only get to see them from the very beginning but the different people, their personalities, and how they work on and arrange these amazing versions of songs that they do. I know you can find their season and episodes online.

Best BTS performance is MMA 2019, it will blow you away if you haven't seen it yet. Best live performance ever, it is 37 min long but you must check it out. My fav era is Love Yourself.

"This is 6 minutes long, usually artists don't do so long performances at award shows" - BTS doing a 37 minute performance at 2019 MMA hahaha. That is the one, the best performance they have ever done. You should check it, but not without recording the reaction, I need to watch that :) Also, don't think you have sing the ROOM live from 2021 FESTA (FESTA hapens every year to celebrate their debut aniversary, and for one week they release a lot of things for the fans like exclusive photos, interviews, backstage videos or new songs or videos) ROOM live is a live performance with a meddley of some B-side songs from their albums since debut to 2020. I'm sure you'll like it. Oh and I think you have mixed Jungkook and V during the Dyonisus/Not Today performance, every to said how amazing Jungkook was in the performance it was V in the center haha.

Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Curtis Mayfield, Patti Smith (I think), James Brown, Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Marvin Gaye, Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, and Mavis Staples. The best eay to get to know each bts member is to watch a fan made who is bts. Also the rise of bangtan episodes. It goes chronologically by episode. Also subscribe to their bangtan tv where they give you behind the scenes of their music videos and whats happening with them.

I think your next "I get it" BTS moment would be watching RunBTS episodes. You get another layer of their personalities and they are sooo funny! Another thing you would enjoy are all the behind the scenes for videos/performances (BANGTAN BOMBS). They always come out later and are great insight into how they put everything together and how hard they work.

Finally getting to come back and watch all the other artists and enjoying it so much. I just wanted to say that Wrabel 11 Blocks was so catchy! It felt like the ending was going to reveal that he was a stalker and I’m not completely convinced that isn’t what he was going for. Lol Ailee is so amazing! She tried to start a career in the US, but it wasn’t going well, so that’s when she moved to Korea. There is an artist named Eric Nam that had a similar story. He once said ‘People always ask me, "Why did you go to Korea to pursue music?" I'm like, well, it's not really about wanting to — it's not having a choice. When Asian Americans aren't represented here and we don't have the opportunity, but you still want to pursue the arts, what are you going to do? You're going to go where you are accepted.’ There are a lot of Asian Americans that leave home to go to Asia to have a career in music because the industry I guess just hasn’t believed that there is a place for them here. 😕 Sorry, this turned into an entire rant, but yes she’s amazing and I think it was sadly just the wrong time for her. With BTS becoming a household name and more and more Asian representation in the music industry (and in general) hopefully there will be less stories like Ailee and Eric’s. I think if she were to have come out a few years from now I think she would have completely taken over with a voice like that. I think one of the wonderful things about Tyler the Creator is that you never know what is going to happen next! Pentatonix is always amazing and Carrie, etc. Okay, I won’t go through each artist, but it really was a joy to watch all these picks! So good!

you should definitely listen to kelseas album "Kelsea". It is probably one of my favourite country albums and has some of my fav songs on it such as "love me like a girl". She also did a crossroads performance with Halsey where they performed each others songs together!

Any concert tour from BTS is good. You could start maybe with their latest Permission to dance - Las Vegas, there were online streaming so the quality is pretty good. But one of my favourites is LOVE YOURSELF - SPEAK YOURSELF - SEOUL

I noticed the mixup too lol and for me they were the last two I differentiated as well! As for when they’re not using their mics and colors, here’s a guide to tell them apart: JK’s skin fairer, and he has bigger eyes. His bottom lip is fuller than his top, and he has a freckle underneath his bottom lip. When he smiles he’s got those adorable front bunny teeth. Also, when you can see them, he’s got the entire sleeve of tattoos on his right arm. Now it’s easier with his recent facial piercings, but he also has way more in each ear where Tae now really only occasionally wears one in his left ear. Tae is tanner and both his lips are equally as plump. He’s got a freckle on the end of his nose. He’s got that signature boxy smile too. Also, Tae’s dyed his hair with bright colors a lot more frequently so that can also help. You’ll get there Michael! Love your videos and analysis for all the artists, especially BTS, Halsey, and Taylor!!

Please go through their MAMA performances and please watch their documentaries. It's such an endearing and real look at their bond and intense work ethic. If you enjoy those I'd suggest watching Bon Voyage and then In The Soop to really see them let loose and you can truly see their family dynamic. It's amazing to see. Comfort watching for sure.

For me the best tour is Love Yourself, and the best concert of the tour, the one in Brazil. Brazilian ARMYs are amazing, and they absolutely rocked the night, they gave a big big plus to the experience of the concert. There's a CD version of it you can get to watch it, it's about 3 hours of concert and every second of it is worth it.

My favorite tours was the Love Yourself tour because it was my first BTS tour and they did all the choreo and it included their first US stadium concert at Citifield. But I also can't forget the Speak Yourself tour because that's the one where JK was flying, RM had his AR tech, Jimin had his bubble, and etc etc. It was also the concert where I had first row so I'm biased because it was awesome! Hahaha. Edit: Oh, I saw someone above mention the epilogue Japan 2016 concert and I agree. That was sooooooo good! Tbh they were all good lol. I'm indecisive.

Rewatching these and just realized that the way you stuck out your hands when Jimin took off his blindfold because you wanted it is the same way Jimin held out his hands at Harry Styles’ concert to catch a flower he was throwing. Sadly he didn’t catch it and he looked devastated. lol
