yayy season 2!!

Yay for season 2! Bob is so good, we love Bob, there is so much I want to say about Bob but I'll keep it to myself so I don't spoil anything for you lol There's actually a lot of things you were touching on at the end of ep 1 that I want to speak on, but I can't without giving too much away, so all I'm going to say is, "Just you wait," :P Billy's a total shit, but I've always been so impressed with Dacre, the actor. It becomes apparent later on just how talented he is, even amongst a cast of stand-out actors. I think the teens are in maybe the toughest position right now. Because yeah, Steve's putting a band-aid on everything, but what else are they supposed to do? Even if he and Nancy tell Barb's parents the truth, it's not likely that they'd be believed, and at worst they'd feel like Nancy is making fun of them somehow. And then if they only tell half truths, like they know that Barb is dead because they saw her, they can't explain that. So the only thing to do, really, is try to cope. Neither of them are coping, so of course they're going to clash. The difference is that Steve is pretending about Barb and pretty much Barb only, whereas Nancy is pretending in nearly all aspects, and Steve clearly didn't understand that until that moment in the bathroom. Like, Steve is dating Nancy because he loves her, but Nancy is dating him because she likes him she guesses and she has to act normal so she might as well, and that is suuuch a different mindset. But of course Nancy is really upset about Barb and can't cope with it; if I knew my best friend was dead but couldn't tell anyone, I'd go off the rails, too. So I really don't feel like either of them are wrong, aside from the part where Steve left Nancy drunk and alone.

yay! this is my fav season. I think a lot of people expected the second season to be bad since the first was so great, but this just proved that the writers really had so much planned out. will’s actor (noah schnapp) and millie bobby brown are fantastic in this season but honestly i think all of the performances from everyone were great

i think its reasonable to not be super impressed with steve's character yet lmao, but i do love him and i love how much he changes and grows each season. sometimes its easy to forget his questionable choices earlier on over time (ex: i HATE that he left nancy at the party and completely forgot about that.) i always thought he was okay but he is easily one of my favorites to watch now as the show is wrapping up! (jonathan is also extremely wonderful though, i ship him and nancy hard)

Season 1 cast two 80's icons: Matthew Modine and Winona Ryder. This season, we have two other 80's icons joining the cast: Paul Reiser and Sean Astin. Paul Reiser was in Aliens, the second Alien movie, so I think it is really fitting that he join ST for season 2. Sean Astin is such an iconic actor. His mom was Oscar-winner Patty Duke, and his step-father is John Astin, who played Gomez Addams on TV. Sean started acting as a child. He played the lead in Goonies! Goonies is a clear influence on Stranger Things - a group of kids go on an epic scary adventure. It is so fitting that he is part of Stranger Things as Bob. The costumes at the Halloween party are so great. Steve and Nancy are going as Tom Cruise and Rebecca De Mornay's characters in Risky Business. If you look around the party, you'll see Michael Jackson from the Billie Jean video, Weird Al, a couple of Madonnas, some Karate Kid characters, Bluto from Animal House, David Bowie, and Elton John. I love the music in Stranger Things. I can't say I care for what's on Billy's stereo, but I did like Devo in the arcade and Duran Duran at the party. The music is going to continue to be epic. I sympathize with Joyce having to take Will back to Hawkins Lab for treatment. Where else could she go? No one else is going to understand or believe what is ailing Will. The same goes for Barb's parents. Even if Nancy tells them the truth, how would they ever believe her? Steve's advice to move on is cold, but sadly, there isn't much they can do. It was definitely wrong of Steve to leave Nancy at the party. However, she clearly broke his heart in that moment. Most everything Nancy says is spot on. How can they pretend that everything is ok when it is clearly not ok? But to say that their love is bullshit? Ouch. In vino veritas.

My least fav season but that doesn’t mean it’s bad at all, Stranger Things just has an impressive repertoire. Season 3 is amazing and season 4 tops everything. So excited for Vol 2 in July!!

What i like about this season is i feel like its gonna tie in really well for sz 4 part 2 and season 5!! don't wanna give spoilers but it would make sense. It's kinda like how avengers age of ultra ties in really well for phase 4.

yes definitely. I came to appreciate season 2 more with time. you’re right, the storyline building off season 2 and season 3 really is coming at a head in season 4 so far. it’s like every season has progressively gotten scarier, louder (in a sense), more intense. I was literally at the edge of my seat for all of season 4 vol 1
