I loved this, I really hope PD will check out the bangtan bomb for behind the scenes of Lolla, It's crazy how much Jhope gets into the production and I think it's detailed over there as well! Thankyou for the reaction again!

The Red Bullet (US version of the tour) was in around July 2015, so while it was D&W era in Korea & Japan & a few other places, they then extended the tour so it was INU era for at least the USA, South America, and Australia, and a few other places. I went to the Dallas show. So yeah they performed at Rosemont Theater in 2015 and it was their 1st US tour, tho their first US concert was in LA in 2014 during American Hustle Life to 200 ppl, followed up by Kcon (where they did not headline Kcon, but they were the star of the show even then). The Red Bullet consisted of theaters and halls that ranged from like 2500 ppl to 6000 ppl. tbh, they could've easily filled up 10k seaters at the time tho. It'd always been hard to gauge their demand from the start. They were too popular & it was hard to keep up cuz they didn't want to overestimate the demand so they always underestimated.

I think it’s crazy how you can see how much influence BTS has on the trends in Kpop because after the JITB listening party there’s been a lot of artists that are starting to do LPs like Somi recently did one for her comeback. Also every member has submitted their solo work for Grammy considerations and in their page spread they made it all seven and not just one for each page so it really shows how this chapter 2 is still for all 7

Towards the end where he talks about his last step, they add on to it more in the after-credit scene that you guys missed. He's releasing another documentary (?) called Hope on the Street that focuses more on the dance aspect of his life.

So much fun rewatching this documentary with y’all! Jhope is truly an inspiring individual and I get so emotional watching. Can’t wait for y’all to watch Road to D-Day. Jimin is also releasing a documentary on his production of Face on weverse. I hope you check it out at some point, PD since you loved the album so much!

just a heads up, i’m pretty sure that when disney plus gives you the “skip credits” button, it means there’s a post credit scene !!

I really really love J-hope. He has been my bias ever since I started listening to BTS. He is such a talented performer and artist. His professionalism is so attractive and you can see that even he is always goal driven he is such a happy good person. He cares for BTS members a lot. RM has always said that Hobi helps him a lot not only with group things but also with his mental health. RM and Jimin were really sad when Hobi enlisted, you could see the sadness. I am really waiting for Hope in the street. Seeing him dance is going absolutely amazing

This is old but I just want to say that Hobi didn't come into BTS a blank slate. He was a hip hop head too. Rap is part of hip hop but dance and beatboxing were defining the genre before rap came along. j-hope had hip hop credit coming out of his ears and, to this day, we see him pay homage to his childhood (not post-BTS) role models through his work. By the time j-hope met RM & Suga, they were all 16-17 years old--still kids all still very much learning and growing. RM & Suga had some underground experience and writing experience that was valuable and put them ahead of the curve but it's not like they were seasoned professional rappers and j-hope was totally out of his element. And also, j-hope started writing right away. He actually is the second member to have registered writing credits (after RM) because he wrote on pre-debut tracks. I know the fandom likes to push this narrative that RM & Suga raised a plebian j-hope from nothing into the rap god he is today, but j-hope and Suga took rap lessons together with the same guy at Big Hit and, as we know j-hope does, it wasn't good enough for him to just do what others were doing, he built his rap up from his heart with sincerity, grit, and prodigy-level musicality. I'm not saying this to take away from RM & Suga. But people in the fandom always get in their head that the rappers exist on a tier where RM & Suga are rappers and j-hope is a dancer who raps. RM & Suga are songwriters and musicians & "j-hope contributes too." RM & Suga are hard core hip hop OGs & j-hope just took to it after he joined BTS. I really want to discourage that narrative because it's demonstrably not true. Again, j-hope joined BTS a month after Suga, with a long history of hip hop artistry already in his bag, and immediately started honing his rapping and songwriting crafts. After nearly 14 years, he is a Grammy-nominated and Hot 100 songwriter with 138 credits to his name, more /production/ credits than RM, a reputation as the best performer in the industry, and a phenomenally technical and recognizable rap style that sets him apart from every other rapper out there. In my mind, RM, Suga, and j-hope are equally our pillars, our foundation line, our rap gods. Editing to add, I didn't write this because I felt like you guys don't think j-hope is every bit the equal of RM & Suga as a rapper and artist--you guys clearly have a ton of respect for his skill and artistry--but mostly to shed some light on his origin and dispel some of the misconceptions there. Not just for you guys but for ARMYs reading the comments too who might have similar notions about j-hope's hip hop background.

Oof. "If j-hope is you favorite idol, you live and breathe the gospel of j-hope." That's so true. It's really true. I'm an atheist and I've never put a lot of stock in anything spiritual, but loving j-hope, listening to his music, learning from his philosophies and practices, FEELS SPIRITUAL. I wear an H pendant around my neck and repeat the word "hope" like a mantra when I need to bolster my courage or confidence. I have lyrics ("just trust myself") and the graffiti art from Ego (only one soul, only one smile, only one me) tattooed on my arm to remind me not to punish myself for my well-intentioned mistakes and wrong turns. He truly has changed the way I feel about myself and the way I feel about the world. BTS has too, of course, but j-hope really is the one that was the fulcrum to that new perspective. He saved me. He continues to save me. And I hope that I continue to do good works in the world with him cheering me along from afar.
