Twinkling Watermelon isn't pure comedy, but I've smiled every single episode. Great feel good show, that isn't entirely feel good. Choi Hyunwook (Suho) is great on it, obviously.

Okay, so...i didn't check out the Webtoon myself...but apparently Suho's character wasn't really memorable there. So i definitely think, he was just a part of Sieun's past...cause i'm pretty sure, that he's not just in a "coma". I'm pretty sure, he's brain-dead😭 Same with Beomseok...apparently he didn't even have a backstory in the Webtoon. I'm sad, that most of these actors/characters probably won't be in future seasons, especially since i love Jihoon and Hyunwook's chemistry on and off screen. BUT if the rest of this show will continue to be amazing, even without them (which i seriously think, according to ppl who're reading the Webtoon) then i definitely won't have a problem with this just being a "backstory"

ALSO...you probably realized while watching this...but Park Jihoon is an amazing actor. Especially when he plays those "depressed" characters. So...i definitely recommend "At a Distance, Spring is Green". Jihoon is the main character there too. It came out before Weak Hero. And it's also amazing. Sadly it got way less attention than Weak Hero😞
