Hi Pd, you missed the post credit scene is this episode. Just to let you know that all this season is based on backstory of sieun that was told in Webtoon. Most of webtoon of weak hero class 1 take place in this school that Sieun was transfer to in the ending of this episode which I think is why this episode feels like a post credit episode. Also a show I would recommend is our beloved summary which is enemies to lovers story or moving which is people who have superpowers trying to navigate life.

i just knew you were gonna talk about Seokdae when you asked what had disappointed you haha so this season is basically a prequel to the webtoon, since the webtoon is, like someone already said, based on Sieun at his new school that we see here in the finale. so it will be interesting to see what the second season will be like if it gets made. i love park jihoon, i've been following him since produce, he was literally my one pick. his acting on this episode always gives me chills especially on the school scene where he breaks the window and screams, the whole season he's very much emotionless and to see him express so much just made me almost cry fr. i saw the behind the scenes and some interviews and i'm just so proud of him

fun fact, the actor playing the bully in the new school, Yoo Subin, is the brother of the drama’s director Yoo Sumin actually those awards belong to Sieun’s dad who’s a coach, and in the webtoon Sieun is not built like a typical fighter and physically much weaker (Jihoon tried to embody that by slouching and losing weight, but it’s hard to alter one’s frame)

I think beomsuk developed an abuser mindset from the dad like beating on the person you luv aka suho instead of attacking yeonji also on top of fact you said in an earlier episode which is that suho and sieun might not have attentive of his feelings and it doesn't help that beomsuk would hold everyhthing he is feeling inside of him.

This show was definitely an emotional rollercoaster. I like to pretend it’s only four episodes long and nothing bad ever happened. But I agree the acting of the cast was phenomenal and so emotionally driven it really tears at your heart. The scene that gets me is when the teachers try to stop Sieun from leaving after he beat down those bullies and he just punches the window and screams. You could really feel how broken he actually was from this ordeal and how alone he feels now. But for suggestions of a more light hearted show I’d recommend Extraordinary Attorney Woo. It’s so fun but still every emotionally moving.

Hey PD and Blaire!! If you want to see another drama with Choi Hyun-wook (actor who plays Suho and also Jiwoong in 2521) once more, he's currently playing another main role in his newest drama, "Twinkling Watermelon". It's been absolutely amazing so far (6 episodes are out).

Hi PD, I just wanted to clarify something. Sieun didn't do Taekwondo! The trophies don't belong to Sieun but to his dad. His father is a trainer for Taekwondo athletes (maybe even on national level?) that's the reason why he isn't home so often (he's on tournaments).

That post credit scene is ultra short, but very easy to miss because is in between the short credits and the long credits haha But yeah, after I learned this was all just a flashback from the actual story I'm even more excited to see part 2!

One drama that I LOVED recently was Lovely Liar, the plot is very interesting and unique, and if you loved Hwang Minhyun on Alchemy of Souls, you are gonna like him here too, he's the main lead! If you want something more light hearted, I think this drama would be a good option! (And it's also a Studio Dragon drama, JUST SAYING!)

Petra Kamali

Just wanted to thank you, this reminded me to finish the show! I have a bad habit of forgetting to finish them if I don't have the opportunity to binge them all at once lol

this is probably my favourite drama that I've ever watched, and I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as I did. Articles have come out recently actually properly confirming season 2 and park jihoon is confirmed, however as it seems the director is going to commit to the actual webtoon, unfortunately it's unlikely that choi hyunwook is going to be a cast member (to the dismay of a lot of people). Because the writer for the drama changed some aspects of sieun's backstory from the webtoon, for example how suho was put into a coma and they gave beomseok an actual backstory which makes it much harder to despise him than it was when reading the webtoon, people had hope that he would also change it so suho would wake up next season, however as suho remains in a coma in the webtoon (still to this day as the webtoon isn't complete and has hundreds of chapters lol), I guess he's committed to following the OG from now on. As much as this disappoints me as someone who LOVES hyunwook as an actor and this live adaptation, I also love the webtoon and the characters there, so I'm looking forward to how they're going to be portrayed and I hope the screen writer does them full justice!

I totally undestand, I made the bad choice of watching the drama while it was airing and I suffered so much with the waiting! I always spent like 3 hours watching each episode cause I had to pause and rant with by friend about what was going on haha Good times 😂

beannieswife

this was a journey, i would love to see you guys react to the bts of sieun breaking down in school at the end, it shows you the input that park jihoon gave into this role, i need to see him in more main roles in the future!! alsooo, if you're looking for a more lighthearted show with similar length to replace this one, i would love to watch you guys react to the one piece live action! its the very first good adaptation i've seen, you don't need to know anything about the anime to watch it, and its very fun slash inspiring, ik its not a kdrama but just in case you're looking for something fresh

beannieswife

also, idk if anyone else sees it but, beomseok reminds me of seungmin from stray kids, his nose and eyes are very puppy like(? just like seungmins lmao

Maddie Ash

this episode really highlights jihoons acting, i feel like for the other episodes his talent can be overlooked bcos he does have such an unemotive character but this episode is insane

leah

Ik it’s not really a bright show but I hope you watch ‘revenant’ someday cause the leads are Kim taeri from 2521 and the actor who plays beomseok here but also the brother from it’s ok to be not ok ! And it’s really good!! U can see totally diff sides shown by these actors

RobotoMon

NGL last ep's post discussion made me feel like I was at my friend's house, and their parents were in a heated argument 🤣🤣🤣

jennielvr_

recommending bloodhounds bc it’s such a good kdrama AND it’s only 8 eps 🙏

Jade

Recommend you guys to watch Revenant next it has the guy who plays Bumseok, Kim Tae Ri and the brother from its okay to not be okay as the main cast and omg can they all act their asses off. Also you said you wanted to see that actor with his hair put up and he does in this role!

Vish

Please watch the moving

Hey PD and Blaire!! Suppose you want to see another drama with Choi Hyun-Wook (actor who plays Suho and Jiwoong in 2521) again. In that case, he plays another main role in his newest drama, "Twinkling Watermelon". It's been absolutely amazing so far.

Btw...PD since you mentioned not remembering Jihoon as an idol...he looks very different when he promotes as an idol😅 Like...if you watch this show, you'll never be able to imagine him as an idol. Especially since you didn't react to anything he did after Wanna One. He was still really young during that period of time, so you might not remember him, cause he looks far more mature now. But Jihoon on-stage is actually shocking compared to Sieun and his off-stage personality. He kind of reminds me of Exo's Kai in that way. Shy and calm off-stage...but as soon as he goes up on stage he has no problem showing his abs off and stuff😂✋ i definitely recommend you guys to check out his solo career. He has AMAZING music.

I joined to watch this, but there seems to be no post for episode 1 at all (was it lost to the internet?) and episode 2, 3 and 4 are still locked to Autumn tier so I can't view them.

I really hope PD and Blaire check out Twinkling Watermelon since Choi Hyun Wook is also in it :)
