I like this album alot because of the growth on their vocals? Also I think there is less editing on their boices and you can actually differentiate them apart now!

Tesa

both PD and Blaire are streaming now. i'm sure they'll fix the issue once it's done

i hope they take their time and don’t feel rushed! i’m just super excited lol!

UR REACTION TO SUNOO DURING BILLS I CANT

kasey

i feel so proud of how far they’ve come, it’s insane to compare their vocals now to how they were from when they debuted. Also, Heeseung directed Bite Me, which i’m so happy for because he’s mentioned many times how he wants to focus on directing for their albums :)

Christina M Villa

I think maybe Rod Stewart may be a typo. I see a David Stewart credited, but not Rod Do You Think I'm Sexy Stewart :)

Okay I know it’s weird but actually my favorite song of the album is Fate, it’s just sooo good

Karma actually is my favorite on this album. Maybe because it is so different from the rest and I always like a variety. It breaks things up. Maybe because it’s rock and I love that. I love the whole album, but that’s the one I’m turning the volume up and head banging along too. Which bring me to my next point… I view Karma being on this album as the, “We have a tour coming” song. Intentionally added for that live concert energy. You know they are coming to the US and a good bit of the crowd is changing the lyrics. “What” isn’t lasting on tour. The listen party with Enhypen has already proved that. The comment section on Station Head when the song came on was 😂. Everyone will be jumping and screaming along. It wouldn’t surprise me for a second if the conversation from PD Bang was, “Produce/ Compose me a song that is made for a live concert audience”. Can’t wait!

Cédric

Please could you do a listening party for Billlie's last EP

My favorite song changes a lot and it really depends on the day but Fate is just SO good. i usually hate intros/outros but the instrumental is just that good!

the deep voice duo moments that both Chaconne and Bills have is just amazing. I love Sunoo’s deeper tone and Ni-ki sounds amazing at that range. I am seriously in love with this mini album and the whole promotional period was very good as well. Touring really did amazing for them in the performance and singing live aspects. Chaconne is my favourite, followed by Karma. Fate got the Foreshadow treatment lol. Apparently both Jake and Heeseung did the vocals for Fate, the whole siren like singing is so beautiful and definitely fitting to their Greek Mythology part of their lore. The whole mini album follows a story. The “story of You (the fans) and I (Enhypen” This Weverse Magazine article goes into a lot of detail for each song if you want to check it out: https://magazine.weverse.io/article/view?ref=artist&lang=en&artist=5&num=734 From SongTell.com "Fate" explores the idea of destiny and the power that fate holds over an individual's life. The song describes the desire to reach a promised place and complete one's future goals, while also protecting one's self and loved ones. However, the lyrics also touch upon the destructive influence of greed and selfishness, which can lead to forgetting and ultimately losing oneself in the depths of despair. The narrator questions the origin of the curse of forgetfulness and acknowledges the sacrifices that were made to fulfill their fate, wondering how they could have forgotten. "Bite Me" by ENHYPEN (엔하이픈) depicts a romantic relationship that is almost vampiric in nature. The lyrics describe a strong desire between two lovers who need each other in a way that is both physical and emotional. The chorus declares that the two are meant to be together, regardless of the darkness around them. It can be seen as a song about a passionate and intense romantic connection, with the use of vampiric imagery serving as a metaphor for the all-consuming nature of the relationship. "Sacrifice (Eat Me Up)" by ENHYPEN explores the theme of obsession and sacrifice for love. The song describes the protagonist's willingness to sacrifice everything for their lover, even their own life. The lyrics express the feeling of being lost and drowning in darkness, with the only hope being the lover who is the only source of light. The song portrays a dark and intense love that consumes and overwhelms the protagonists, leading to a willingness to sacrifice everything for the object of their affection. “Chaconne” seems to revolve around the themes of death, beauty, and self-obsession. The lyrics reference a castle, dead flowers, and the Dance of Death - all of which are symbolically related to mortality. The speaker seems to be fascinated and intoxicated by their own beauty and is willing to indulge in it despite the transient nature of life. The chorus suggests that the speaker wants to dance forever, even in the broken mirror, indicating that they are willing to bask in their own image and revel in their own egotism. The line "This is my world in the dark" may signify the speaker's dark inner world, which is marked by their self-obsession. The bridge section alludes to the idea of a moment being a curse, suggesting that the speaker is aware that their obsession with themselves may come at a price. Sunghoon: “Chaconne” originates from the 17th-18th century and has been referred to as “music to resurrect the dead.” As per its meaning, our track has a dark feel and tells a story of a boy who becomes completely consumed by his own self and dancing, eventually facing his downfall. — Billboard "Bills" by ENHYPEN explores the painful aftermath of a breakup and the toll it takes on both parties emotionally and financially. The lyrics describe the pressure and urgency to pay the bills that have accumulated as a result of the relationship, symbolizing the cost of love lost. It reflects the painful reality of the aftermath of a lost love and the emotional and financial costs that come with it. "Karma" by ENHYPEN is about a strong bond between two people that is unbreakable, even by destiny or fate. The lyrics mention "karma" as the blood that connects them, implying a special deeper connection that is beyond just a simple acquaintance or relationship. The chorus and post-chorus indicate that the narrator does not care about what others might say or think, as they are bound by this unbreakable bond. The song talks about the moment when the two met, and they recognized the connection they share, going beyond familiarity. The title of the song "karma" reflects the theme of the song, as it is believed that karma connects people's fates. Overall, the song is about the inexplicable connection and strong bond between two people that cannot be broken by destiny or fate.

Karma is definitely a concert song lol, They’ve performed it twice already and it’s just perfect for concerts and they already know (and kind of encouraged) Engenes to change “I don’t give a what” for “don’t give a fuck” lmao 🐺: /telling a behind story while they were recording karma but notices the comments 🐺: that's not the lyrics though 🐺: they are cursing a lot 🐧: why? 🐺🐧: /laughs 🐺: that's not the...you got the wrong lyrics 🐺: what are you doing(?) it's don't give a what... 🐧: not.. nott [the f word] https://twitter.com/prodshn/status/1665550353327177728?s=46&t=GEuGx1jpIVybdFghB_MYrA https://twitter.com/heeseungcokr/status/1665558322995445761?s=46&t=GEuGx1jpIVybdFghB_MYrA

They’re in their rock era right now. Jay playing guitar all the time, his guitar solo performance at Weverse Con, Sunghoon wants to learn how to play drums and they’ve been obsessed with AC/DC lately so we might get Enhypen rock era next. Also, this is the first album of the Dark series. So we’re going to have a wild ride. Jake has been improving so much and his vocals have been amazing. I hope you can react to their behind for the recording for Bite Me, it’s an interesting side of them and such an awesome side of Heeseung to see. https://youtu.be/MqTlF8qzU8Y I feel like in Dark Blood, their voices really stand out A LOT and it’s been way easier to point out. The producers didn’t go as heavy on the voice processing which I’m so so so happy. Bills was defined as an “Emo Hip-Hop song” lmao 😭 Also… since you love Bills… we might get something for it in a couple of days. The Songwriter (Ryan Curtis) teased that he has very good news for us and he likes a tweet about someone speculating being an english version and/or a collab with a western artist.

I really love Bills and Chaconne. I have to say in all of the album of Enhypen i love the intro and outro and FATE is sooo good like I need a whole song. The vocals in all of their songs in this album is just pleasing for my ears. I hope you can check out the live singing for bills and the behind video from their recording

I really think this EP marked the growth of Enhypen as a group, being their first release after tour (and I think a 10 month gap since their last comeback). I could really hear their improvement as vocalists compared to debut and their performances/dances have become so crazy synchronised and elaborate since touring, idk I just feel so proud of them seeing how far they've come as a group and individuals since the i-land days. I also love that they went back to their vampire lore, that dark vampire concept suits them so well and it really emphasises to me how much they've grown and matured since Given-Taken. Honestly Fate is my fave, the instrumental is so so good and if they turned that into a full song it would go insane. In terms of the songs I've played the most it'll have to Bills and Bite Me, although I really enjoyed every song on this EP.

This is hands down my favourite album by them, I go between Bite Me and Bills as my favourites! But the rest of the songs are immaculate too, I’ve been addicted to Sacrifice (Eat Me Up) along with Chaconne, even though Karma is my least favourite it’s still a bop, and even better live, I hope they get to cuss on tour lol, Fate is a masterpiece it’s like a siren like so addicting the singing part that is, Enha continuing to give us intro/outfits that are masterpieces and I want them in full songs 😭 They’ve all improved so much it’s soo evident in all their voices, they sound more confident and have really found their own voices. Heeseung’s voice is absolute perfection, my bias is showing but I literally can’t get enough of that man, he was amazing but has consistently improved and it’s so amazing to see, he even directed members for Bite Me and some other songs. Overall 10/10 album for me, loved how cohesive it was! Fun fact, this is the first of the Blood Series, they’ve said they’ve got more coming and I hope we get more trailers and storylines because even now I’m so impressed with the quality of this comeback and their acting too. They’ve come sooo far and we’ve seen their journey from the literal beginning, they’ve achieved so much this comeback for such a young group, I’m so proud of them and can’t wait to see what the future holds for our Enhypen. 💖

Heeseung helped directing the recording for Bite Me and they did a behind the scenes of the recording in general that you might want to check out! https://youtu.be/MqTlF8qzU8Y You might be interested in checking the behind on the recording for the trailer as you might want to see the process on how everything was put together and how the director guided them through it all too! Bills is so freakin' good! It's been on repeat ever since the album came out! Chaconne is a close second, and Fate would have been up there too had it been an actual song and not an intro with the narration. Enhypen always does that lol they make such great intros/outros that need to be full songs! It's unfair.. Karma on the other hand I didn't like at all which is a shame because their other rock songs are really good!

Candice Blair

Exactly. Jake was like that's not the words and gave up and said, " Do what you want. lol

Bills is definitely my top 1, followed by either Sacrifice or Bite Me. BTW, I believe someone already mentioned it but Heeseung helped in directing the recording for Bite Me, Bills and Karma. You might also wanna watch their comeback showcase, they performed the band version of all the songs except for Chaconne and some of their old songs as well. https://youtu.be/BFEc2ydw3cg

This is actually one of my favourite EP from ENHA. FATE is just the new Foreshadow and can’t stop listening to them. It’s just so lore packed and gives you (if you know their lore) an aura that helps you understand the new era. And the Chaconne is just chefs kiss, Sacrifice wasn’t my favourite but seeing the performances now I understand the hype. Bills it’s just BILLS. And Karma wasn’t my favourite, but it’s so enhypen coded that it’s just the genre that it’s not my style. But the growth as artist, singers and performers that they had during this era I’m so proud of them and can’t wait to see them on tour.

I freaking LOOOOOOOOVE this album so much! The sound, the aesthetic, everything is perfectly to my taste. I think it's now my favourite of theirs.. which was previously Border: Carnival (Dimension: Dilemma is fantastic too). I agree though, Karma is my least fave; I like it but the "don't give a what" sounds kinda childish idk, that's the only one I sometimes skip. I'm obsessed with all 4 other songs - Bite Me has instantly become my fave title track of theirs which had been Given-Taken for so long. The only thing I still wish was different was that Bite Me wasn't so short, it deserves a bridge at least or a switched up outro part like Drunk-Dazed had idk just something to make it longer and feel more complete. Yeah I got used to how short it is and that it lacks a bridge but I still maintain that it would be even more phenomenal with one; just imagine how haunting and beautiful they could've made it to fit with the concept of the song. I HATE with a passion the fact that their producers stopped giving them bridges for their title tracks 3 times in a row. Before this song even came out I was praying it would have one or be a decent length yet was rightfully pessimistic. Ugh it seems like this isn't going to change :/. Apart from that though, I have literally listened to it like 100000 times it is my SOTY! A masterpiece. Sacrifice & Chaconne became my top b-sides of theirs out of their entire discography along with Fever - I love them immeasurably. Bills is just amazing in every way. I'm SOOO DAMN SAD that Fate is only an intro!? The last 1min song part is enchanting, angelic, mesmerising.. I feel like I'm ascending into heaven and I need it to be a full song ffs. It would also be one of my top b-sides of theirs ever, such a missed opportunity but I get why it's an intro much to my despair. Foreshadow was done just as dirty. Anyway, I know I will not get tired of listening to this album for a long time, I already have it on repeat constantly. ENHYPEN ARE SO TALENTED, I'M PROUD TO BE AN ENGENE! Thank you for your reactions to them as always <3
