loved this album and loved this listening party, i hope u do get into aespa more they’re my favorite girl group🙏🏽 their song “hold on tight” for the tetris soundtrack was released a couple months back if ur interested, it’s sooo good! also Karina was recently on No Prepare i’m looking forward to that reaction soon.

This album was probably my favorite from them (Savage is very close). I hope you get to check out more from them on the variety side! Aespa's Synk Road would be a lot of fun to watch with you, plus many more like Karina on "No Prepare" with Youngji, etc. Thanks for reacting:)

PD are you going to watch the videos aespa has out for the b sides of this album on the stream on Saturday? Also, in case you didn’t know aespa is going on a US tour so I think the album was geared a little bit to that audience

I have a category of groups in kpop that to me, whether or not I consider myself to be a stan, I can always count on them to make fantastic music and Aespa is one of them. One thing I particularly loved about this album is that mature, spicy nature you talked about. It is refreshing to actually have a group of mature women who are able to tackle and embody those mature concepts considering how obsessed kpop is right now with debuting 14 year-old’s. Aespa is kpop royalty with only three mini albums to their name - it’s incredible.

You didn't do the listening party to the Girls (previous mini album) album. I remember I was looking forward to your reaction. In case you listen to that or do a listening party, keep in mind that although there is Black Mamba, Forever and Dreams Come True included, it is only for the digital release. I don't know why... because all three songs were already released only digitally... You watched (obviously) Black Mamba and Dreams Come True music videos, but I think you skipped the music video for Forever (it's a remake song of an older SM song. As they usually do with girl groups. In this case it's a remake of the song of the same name by Yoo Young-jin). Regarding your question about the lore etc... I guess the most important thing is SMCU episodes, there are only 3 of them. They were released before the upcoming comeback but their titles are connected to the previous comeback/debut, so it may be a bit confusing if you don't watch the music videos in between them.
