A bit on the review part if yall just need a bit of clarity and recap, The long red hair swordsmen that keeps appearing, is not tanjiro's dad. I don't remember specifically but he is like a wandering swordsmen who has no relation to tanjiro family at all but he happens to save one of his ancestors at one point and then as they said, they want to pass down his legacy or something thus i think they inherit his earrings and learning the movement of his swordstyle as like a ritual. And tanjiro was not born with the scar, he mentioned before in previous season that he got the scar from getting scalded by hot water but the scar eventually evolve through the fights he goes through. For the rest I think the story will unfold itself so looking forward to see it with you guys! ^o^

I think the long haired guy saved Tanjiro’s ancestors and either taught them the sun breathing technique or they were somehow related. Bc Tanjiro’s ancestor said he’d be willing to pass on the guy’s name to his son since the guy had no heirs.

Yess!!! It’s great that we’re starting the season right away!! And yes the Man With A Mission songs for the opening and ending songs are both so good. I love demon slayer opening/endings

Also as a reminder, you’ll notice that Tanjiro’s scar isn’t always like that mysterious ponytail swordsman’s sun-shaped scar. Tanjiros scar is just a vague random shape. BUT last season while doing the hinokami kagura when he was giving it his all, that’s when his scar transformed into that sort of flame/sun shape! But yeah, we’ll learn more about upper 1 etc. eventually…

I'm so glad you guys have finally made it to Season 3!! Honestly, you guys are in for a Treat. This arc is really really good and the animation budget (as you probably already noticed) was just *chef's kiss* I'm looking forward to going on the journey with you two!

The whole demon slayer family tree is confusing. I forgot if they eventually explain more about who’s related to who and what relationships each have. Unless they did and I was too dumb to notice or understand. But, I did some digging and know some of the answers to y’all’s predictions. Ofc I won’t tell y’all, but unless you want to find out yourself and research, you’re in for an interesting ride

I had the same questions when I got into this part in the manga. its soooooooo good but so sad that we're near the end. This episode was played in the theater along with the last episode of season 2 before the actual tv air date, so that's why the opening was so movie like~ and the budgettttttttttt. ufotable is at it again.

Oh, PD. I just remind you some info. In season 2, Tanjiro did said that, Rengoku's dad said the great Demon Slayer with the Sun Breathing in the past all has the scar by natural. But, He Tanijro himself did not have the scar, his scar is a burning scar by saving his sibling by chance. And the scar became like now is only after he learning and fighting and injure on his recent journey. On this season 3, the man with red hair in Tanjiro's dream is someone live a long long time ago, so obviously, he cannot be Tanjiro father. And on his dream, the man with the green kimono said that he will pass on some thing of the long red hair man, so maybe that how TANJIRO family got the earrings and the dancing that look like the SUN BREATHING.
