Hii, can you also checkout BTOB recent album (May 2nd, the title is Wind and Wish and Hyunsik wrote this song) and their killing voice:)

Heidi

OMG THANKQ SO MUCH I HAVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS !! 😭😭

Ana

paused the video to come here and comment that good enough was written by youngk and gunil based on a poem that gunil wrote when he was in college (i think). that's why it sounded so real and it hit all the feelings. also its the reason its an english song as gunil is fluent :))

Good Enough has an MV if that's something you'd like to check out!

Mattie H.

Yeah! for more context, while Gunil was attending berklee, he was in love with this person and so wrote the poem about them, and so the ending sentence "you'll never find this story of mine" is bc they will never see each other again and that person will never hear this song. I heard this song for the first time the other day and cried (I never do that) it was just so breathtaking!!

Hannah

Would love to see you react to woodz’ new album ‘OO-LI’ when you have the chance! :)

Dear. H is quite special as Jun Han was the largest contributor lyrics wise. You would only know this if you've seen some predebut videos from them where they watch their last montly evaluation with JYP and talk with him about their motivations. Jun Han was, and is, a really shy, quiet, closed off person and it was quite a big step for him to commit to being in a group like this. He really likes doing music, but had a hard time connecting and opening up to the other members. The other members are all extraverts (except for Jungsu) and he is really thankful to them for reaching out to him.

im pretty sure junhan's song was "dear h." as gunil and youngk did good enough lyrically!

Serena

i love this album with everything in me 🥺❤️ xh have become one of my fav groups ever. and them as people are amazing too. i once again wanna reccomend if u have the time to check some of their content. they have a predebut reality series called xdinary heroes begins on youtube. its a good starting point to get to know them bc they have some really insightful interviews and segments there. and they also have a weekly variety show that just started releasing its second season called rock the world. they were VERY awkward in the beginning but the show gets really funny very fast and the members and their chemistry really shines. also they just released their lightstick so it wouldnt be far off that they might do a tour sooner or later. i mean they have enough songs and covers to fill a setlist 👀

I’m actually surprised that you got Dear H right!! It is indeed stands for “Dear Hope”!! Junhan (lead guitarist) wrote the lyrics while he was feeling sad. at their early days, junhan was the most introverted person and a bit timid among the members. Gaon (rhythm guitarist) once said junhan’s wall was stacked thick and the members just kept knocking on junhan’s heart for him to open up to them (you can watch this content on their yt channel, titled “Xdinary Heroes BEGINS ep 1” and it was really tearjerking 😭) And now we can cleary see that their bond is really getting stronger and there is no wall between junhan and the members anymore :” Also if i’m not mistaken, junhan once said he also wrote Dear H while thinking about the members. So for junhan personally, Dear H can also stands for “Dear Heroes” as in the members, because the members are his hope :”). But then the members just like to joke around and say that for them Dear H stands for Dear Hyeongjun (junhan’s real name) 😂 their bond is just too precious!!

Thanks for explaining the meaning of the title, I wasn't aware about all of this and it makes the song even better now!

LoLo

Thank you so much for doing this listening party!! XH always winds up blowing me away and I can't wait to see what the future holds for them. My fave song off the album is Good Enough which is huge because I am NOT a fan of slower songs. But the vocals and the lyrics and the strings really pulled at my emotions and made me cry so much. They are truly something so special.
