Ah, I was really hoping that the SHINee reaction would have included the prerelease song "The Feeling" as well. Guess we'll just have to pester you about it during the next stream :D And before you make the Limelight and P1Harmony videos public, remember to change the titles because you reacted to multiple MVs for both.

If you do any other bonus reactions for stray kids or are planning any variety reactions, for this comeback i just want to recommend the m/v making for S class bc you‘re actually interested in production and they’re always interesting and the members are funny in them. And their fandom tour for variety! I hope you only do things you’re actually interested in though! Thank you for dedicating your time to this!

Yay excited to watch everything! Just a heads up if you haven't gotten to it on your list but highly recommend listening to woodz prerelease abyss before the title track journey the 2 mvs are connected, theres even a film version that has the 2 put together as one storyline

For F*CK MY LIFE MV, what would really help in understanding and appreciating the storyline better is that it's based on 'The Truman Show (1998 film)'. So the members were all bound by the society, being watched, controlled and restricted. Their realizations and then effort to free themselves... I know someone else (esp in yt comments later on) will give you a more detailed summary of the references as to the film but if you did watch The Truman Show, you already probably get it more. I think Carats collectively agree with you on how Jeonghan's character portrays as the island to where the members escape to and just be alive and happy, connected to what he mentioned in ITS S2.

PD, absolutely loved your reaction to Jisoo, thank you for supplying us with so much content. Your view on 'Flower' helped me understand something, I was curious as to why people of all ages seemed to really enjoy 'Flower.' I adore the song, but it was surprising to me that even elderly people were dancing to the 'Flower' challenge and genuinely enjoying it, I think even Lee Dong Wook admitted to having it on his playlist (he's by no means elderly, it was just surprising). But it finally clicked when you said that 'Flower' is like an old 90s' or 2000s' female soloist song. People really enjoy nostalgia and that's why I think it trended so much. I know you said you were planning on checking this out already, but Jisoo on No Prepare might give you more insight as to where she was coming from as a solo artist, and even just as a person. Her outlook on life is really healthy...if that makes any sense.

With Shinee. I think they filmed the last part of the mv when Onew went on hiatus, hence him not being there. You can actually see him not doing well( he lost so much weight, looks to thin for me, to the point had to figure out it was him in the beginning by looks)

Hi PD, are you considering watching Triple S Signal? It's a series about how the group comes about and you see their daily lives. It is very laid back and low key as each video is between 5 to 10 minutes. Think of this as Loona TV but in the length of Loona The Tam. Don't feel obliged to watch it, it's more for relaxation than informative.

To be fair… Jisoo was the only one with who I wasn’t sure she would like to continue doing music and I thought she would like to focus on acting. But that has changed with Born Pink and her solo! About her solo comeback… well, that’s really hard to say… I see BLACKPINK’s journey like this: Phase One: - Square One, Square Two, As If It’s Your Last, Square Up, Kill This Love + Jennie Solo Phase Two: - The Album, Born Pink + Rosé, Lisa and Jisoo solos (basically the first one is since debut with digital singles and then mini albums and the second one is like their “global debut”, which happened at Coachella and they continued with The Album and Born Pink which are both full-length albums + solos of each member, where only Jennie had her solo in the phase one, but to be fair she had featurings with another YG artist before debut and also her Solo was only digital and not that promoted). Where am I going with this, right? All of them said they wanted to stay together, so they are going on! The question now is whether they stay with YG Ent. or switch to The Black Label with Teddy. Because… nothing against YG, but I feel like they want to focus on BABYMONS7ER and Treasure and have plans for another groups focused in not only Korea but Japan and Thai as well. So if BLACKPINK decides to go with Teddy (where we have to keep in mind they are not a subsidiary anymore, but an associate company, since they own their own 40% share (more than YG Ent.)), I can imagine Teddy really giving them a lot, because they need the label to grow. Like they already have their own The Black SEA (South East Asia) subsidiary with one giant Thai company CP Group and beside that they are planning their own girl group, but they would need to get their name built as “stand alone company” and make it clear BLACKPINK is purely under them (and I would assume Teddy would buy the last share of YG Ent. to be fully on their own). So to finally answer the question/statement. If they go with The Black Label I can imagine them having solos and comebacks a lot, I would be surprised if Jennie was again the first to get it on a physical release and not just digital as last time, but other members will have their time to shine as well!

“Jisoo’s solo is the most Korean…” I guess that reflects each member personality and the fact the Jisoo has always been the most Korean one. I don’t mean by nationality or language-wise. I mean from the perspective of their mindset. Both Jennie and Rosé have the “western influence” in themselves, which is obviously because of their parents and where they decided to live their life. And with Lisa it was somehow meant to be for her to have the mindset as well, although she is Thai and she lived there her whole life (before moving to Korea)

Stray Kids did the "four rappers one after another" in All In, or technically if we count Han's intro, which is not really rapping..., we could say they had 5 rappers going of each other's line. About their dance practice. I feel like this dance room is in the "division" dedicated to Itzy. Which is a bit weird. JYP during his speech about JYP 2.0 mentioned each artist will have their own dedicated team with studios etc, so I don't know why they change the rooms time to time. But to be fair, it's a bit confusing in general with these "divisions". Some people see them as "subsidiaries/sub-labels", but they are not. It's just like a "plan/scheme to organise everybody's work in JYP Ent", only NMixx's SQU4D and Studio J for "independent artists outside of the mainstream K-pop aesthetic" are officially sub-labels as well.
