I wanna recommend which performances to watch but they just make me sad seeing the ones that didn’t land in a group :( IF I HAD TO PICK THO: U+ME=Love is the perfect perf, Fate is also a tearjerker, personal faves are: We Are and VVS (Ice Cream is also legendary but I just cringe when I hear all the baby trainees singing the adult double entendre lyrics, it’s in English so it doesn’t come across and it can totally pass as a cute song on the surface I just cant separate it in my mind and I’m just like PROTECT THESE CHILDREN)

You should watch the produce x twit (hwasa) performance! I think it’s one of the best produce/mnet survival show performances ever.

Wow I haven’t watched gp999 performances since the show… fascinating to see the members as trainees now they’ve grown so much! Also reminded me of the other amazing girls on there and I wish to see them in kpop again someday

Ok I'm several days late to this but DUDE I NEED TO TELL YOU ABOUT FU YANING AND SU RUIQI'S SOLO WORK. They don't have a huge amount of stuff but what they have is really damn good and I'd love you to check it out some time. - Fu Yaning (aka Yenny) - Ning: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_KY4gP5UtA - Su Ruiqi (aka Sury Su) - 羅盤: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTug0qjAfRM There were some truly great contestants that didn't make the cut for Kep1er. The biggest tragedy out of all of them was definitely Kawaguchi Yurina. From ranking FIRST in the first round to dropping down to 14th place in the finale, therefore not even being anywhere close to winning. And it's not even like her skills and performances fell off at all. The change in the voting methods probably fucked her over. Yurina is at least active as a soloist but apart from her debut, her solo work has sadly done little to impress me. She doesn't seem to be cut out to be a truly great solo artist. But I'm certain she would have thrived in the group. Obviously I would never change Kep1er now, I love the group just as it is. But talking from the perspective of autumn 2021, when GP999 was still airing, I think they should have kept that even split across the countries all the way into the final lineup. Three girls from each country. From Japan, I'd obviously put Yurina in there and from China, it has to be Fu Yaning and Wen Zhe for me. In addition to the members that did make it into Kep1er. I don't want to say which three Korean members I'd "remove" in exchange though. I wouldn't be able to decide anyway.
