Gyuvin reminds me of Bae Jin Young in Produce 101 season 2. Jin Young would get votes for his looks and he didn’t seem to have any confidence. But the last couple of episodes he really improved and stood out. Now he’s a beast in Cix. I agree when you said Gyuvins’ long limbs make it look elegant, I feel that way about Hyungwon of Monsta X.

I have thinking the same thing. Gyuvin really reminds me of Bae Jinyoung (his looks and height also). At the end he really deserved his spot on Wannaone.

The En Garde stage was what made me understand the Gyuvin hype. I'll be honest I was not impressed by his rap. It sounded very slurred to me and like he was struggling to stay on beat, but man he can DANCE and it is so captivating to watch him dance. I encourage everyone to go watch his fancam for En Garde. This song has been my most played of the Artist Battles mission. I usually do not like songs like this, I am much more of a melodic and R&B enjoyer, but the arrangement of this song is insane!

Fun fact: En Garde was actually produced by prismfilter who is very known as one of svt's producer plus it was choreographed by choi young joon so you could say that the song and performance is very Seventeen coded lol. I can literally imagine the performing this! I loved both supercharger and en garde, they are both very different so it was hard to compare but considering that supercharger team practiced for only three days is very much insane and they pulled it off so well. Personally choreography wise I think supercharger and switch are the hardest so to think that both groups only had few days to practice is such a shame because i know they deliver a much much better performance if they had the same period of practice as the other team. Gunwook and Seunghwan did the best in en garde in my opinion.

not gonna lie when you said that seowon might just need to get a “little older” to do a sexy concept it made me chuckle since he’s one of the older constants in that twenty-eight bunch at twenty-two. also, you are totally right there was something so feral and unhinged about zihao in supercharger and i loved every second of it. it’s such a shame mnet keep cutting him out of everything, you wouldn’t believe he consistently gets the highest fan support (fancam views) with how little he’s in the ep. (also, as exo are preparing to come back zihao reminds me so much of lay that it’s so heartwarming) vocalist seunghwan truly got his redemption in en garde (i’d argue the signal song was redemption but most folk don’t know he’s singing it) i genuinely couldn’t take my eyes off him (gunwook too) and as always that boy KNOWS how to find and work a camera (they don’t show it in the ep but the full yt version has it)

i have very different opinions about the En Garde performance lmao like i didn't think it was the performance to beat because i was really excited for Over me team too but other than that i thought it was an amazing 10/10 performance and it was way better than Supercharger even tho they were great too, but En Garde felt so much like a comeback stage for me and I didn't think Gyuvin stood out that much in fact he was the one that i liked the least he was good and his body lines are really pretty too but his rap was so underwhelming for me and other than that specific part when he was in the center that you pointed out i didn't noticed him in a good way at all and also i didn't find it boring in the beginning rather i was really into it from the start but i agree that half way it got even better. That said my favorites in that performance were Gunwook, Seunghwan and Hiroto (this was my first time reaaally noticing him too and i think he did so great)

Seowon did such a great job as a main vocal considering he is a main dancer in nine.i. Especially his fans knew he had a great voice but it was still amazing to see him inprove so much and take on a main vocal position and he is always super stable too. About woonggi I think alot of people forget he did more "darker" concepts with too/to1 before as well, like magnolia, no more x, son of a beast. Also... the camera work for en garde PISSED ME OFF SO BAD. You probably cant compare it but if you've seen the dance practice video and watch it back to back its so noticable. First it has SUCH A COOL CHOREOGRAPHY and that barely showed with that camera work, they always zoomed in when there was actual cool choreo part. In my opinion they zoomed in and zoomed out too much in general and what annoyed me the most was how they often didnt show the one who was singing, it happened a few times with different members and nothing against gyuvin but they showed him twice during seunghwans part (like I think one part you thought it was gyuvin too and it was actually seunghwan) and like seunghwan wasnt getting much screentime this whole show anyway, at least show him properly during his parts 😑. Or maybe I'm just sad bc he's the only ex 1the9 member (apart from jinsung who left industry) who hasn't re-debuted yet or became an actor and he always says how badly he wants to be an idol so he keeps trying (loud now boys planet) and the fact no company has picked him up is just unbelievable. Anyway, song wise en garde is my favorite song of them all together with over me and when I watched the dance practice video that were released before the show I was so excited for it but I was just annoyed with the camera work haha. It was still a great performance tho. Also them showing the 2 g-trainees in top 9 and all the korean trainees in last places/who went down is such a typical mnet move to manipulate viewers its crazy lmao

what you said about wang zihao.. 😭 like yes, of course, especially if you only watch the show without all the behind the scene content nor being on twitter living the thing and rewatching all the little clips, it's hard to see his full personality or get how popular he is for global fans, but for his defense it's not his fault mnet absolutely cut everything they can when it's about him 😭 even when they had the games before the guerilla, we only saw 3 out of 5 teams ( and some people on twitter saw on the preview that en garde team had a game where they had to guess wang zihao so there's a conspiracy that they cut and didn't show supercharger's or en garde's games because of that 🥲 ) also, but this is just my opinion, maybe if you have time you should watch the dance practice for the songs of this round. especially for supercharger, i feel like you can really see how good the choreo is and imo hearing the synchronized foot steps give even more of an impact 🫶🏻 for en garde, seunghwan has been robbed for me, he really shined in this performance, he's so good 😭 and so happy to see hiroto on a good team, i really started to focus more on him on this episode, especially after we learned he was in RBW ( and seunghwan actually was one of Oneus backup dancers 🥹 ) i am just sad for supercharger team, they only had 3 days to practice but overall even in such a short time I feel like they had the best chemistry out of all the groups ????? maybe I'm biased because there's 3 out of 4 of my picks but i love this team so much and they could have made an even better performance with more time sadly 🥹

also personally idk why in an unbiased opinion, en garde was SOO good, yes! but i just cant find it memorable or anything really special. it is really good, extremely good honestly but it just didnt stick to me): i am kind of getting the gyuvin hype more, but still not that much… idk he did really well but personally his rap threw me off because it didn’t flow well to me😭 it just wasn’t smooth and was slurred and unclear… kind of unsatisfying in my opinion and YES! SEUNGHWAN IS SUCH A GOOD VOCALIST!!! hes such a powerful vocal oh my god… you might not get this because of his lack of screentime but seunghwan is actually one of the most talented trainees on the show and best all rounders! he’s just not getting screentime AT ALL because he’s not part of mnet’s ideal lineup so they dont really show him…seunghwan was in 1the9 btw, the group created from 1the9. he hits high notes effortlessly and is mainly a vocal but has only been able to prove himself a rapper in the 1st and 2nd mission. seunghwan is so talented but he doesnt have a company and hes actually said that he is probably giving up if boys planet doesnt work out for him and going to go to the military because he’s “too old” now… plus he didnt go to uni bc of pursuing his idol life so he would have to juggle part-time jobs…. aaahh i wish a company would take seunghwan in, i’m telling u, if u saw more of him you’d instantly love him! he’s also super sweet irl, i’m serious!!

SUPERCHARGER: they only had 3 days to learn and practice everything, and stayed up til 5am practicing. in these 3 days, seowon and zihao were busy also preparing for mcountdown for love killa and law, and they all still managed to give such a clean performance. SEOWON. oh my god. i love him sm. i still stand by my point that love killa actually did suit seowon and he did best in that team but supercharger seowon. WOW. truly amazing. i’m so glad he got the main vocal part and he REALLY shined as a vocalist. i’m kind of annoyed at mnet though, they cut out a lot of his parts and made it look like the masters were reacting to other parts when they were reacting to seowon. btw seowon is mainly a dancer (he did the solo dance in nine.i’s parallel universe) and goddd i really cant get over how much seowon proved himself!! he worked really hard for this ZIHAOOO!! omg i used to not get his hype but i soon realised its just mnet not showing him LOL. he’s the best dancer on the show. easily. just look at him! he’s so amazing on stage i cant evennn!! hes seriously such an amazing performer wooow….also the personality part i agree! but ive come to see and realise that zihao is really such a cute and sweet guy, really😭 he joined supercharger for haruto (and haruto went on and called zihao his husband, seowon and woonggi the unnies, and takuto and ollie their children LOL it was kind of funny he said he loves his husband) but yea! TAKUTO… oh… i just feel hes not ready at all for debuting… hes way too young and his skills arent there. hes so cute and hes really working so hard but im honestly kind of disappointed he made it this far when there are other trainees with more training that are better ready for debut that got eliminated. still! im surprised they really managed to get him dancing like that in supercharger!! its crazzyyy. the choreo is hard yet takuto (who’s not very strong skill-wise) managed to pull it off in 3 days. wow. overall supercharger is DEFINITELY one of my favourite performances. it might not be the best in terms of i guess skill? but damn. the performance blew my mind. it isnt the best but for some reason i love it SOO MUCH. it’s probably the chemistry, the members have such amazing chemistry from behind the scenes and they make sucha. good team😭 (they also have 2 koreans, 2 chinese, and 2 japanese members… perfectly balanced LOL) and i think they are really close and went through so much so i took this performance a lot more personally and i feel like their passion and desperation really shone through. their highest ranked trainee is 16th place, they were working on such a difficult song with such a tight deadline, and they pulled through. im so proud of them.

ALSO! just going to push my luck but you should definitely react to some of the boys planet behind the scenes/ other content they posted on their youtube! they play games or have activities/so called interviews with each other it’s so much fun and the personalities and chemistry/bonds really shine through. they’re only like a max of 20mins long btw! ive linked them before but i can link the important slash big ones again in order for u if youd like! also wumuti just dropped his antifragile cover… you should totally react to it!! : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtYvnoM9fGs i’m anticipating his debut in kpop… 😭😭 LASTLY! godd i hope you could check out why not nine.i! its nine.i’s variety show and dont worry, it’s not that long! nine.i is seowon’s group btw, you really enjoyed their songs and i think you should totally watch their show! theyre so funny and the episodes dont run long, an amazing idea for bonus drops! theyre all available on youtube and there are very few episodes. i truly hope u check it out😭😭😭 i want u to see more of seowon and his group aaaahh!!

en garde took less votes not because supercharger was better but because everyone in the froup was so good that votes split up, they might have higher results in the end then supercharger

As always, I agree with u 120% for Gyuvin. He is something. I really hope he debuts! And Gyuvin’s fancame for engarde (from Mnet) is actually insane and sooooooo good..I hope u would watch that sometime.
