in complete honesty, i like dangerous in love but the chorus bored me. and tbh i think its because theyre missing denise? i had the same issue with fire saturday, it feels like theyre missing POWER and it seems like denise was a key part of that power. i really hope she stays in secret number because i think that as a full 7 member group they would be unbeatable. like dont get me wrong i think both songs are fantastic but i wish they had what got that boom had, which frankly is denise.

I only watched the performances of the b sides so I have a different take of them in my opinion it’s way better watching them perform then just listening I’m more of a choreography person like with itzy I hated most of their songs until wannabe but I still enjoyed them because of their choreography that’s the only thing that kept me interested. With secret number it’s the choreography plus I just know Jinny from her days as a yg trainee back when her and idles miyeon were apart of future 2ne1 with other blackpink girls so I know Jinny rap abilities plus her unreleased music so I always tune in for her who dis rap and song overall was bad though I agree but I’ve liked everything since this comeback is weird but it’s just because of Denise not being there

Donslaught

The more I look into it the more it seems like Denise isn't coming back and the more it makes me sad for Secret Number. I LOVED Got That Boom and I'm really liking their B-sides, even though they're not super consistent. Btw PD, in "Privacy" that "lower-registered voice" that you loved was Denise. Every time you've pointed out a voice in Secret Number from their previous title tracks it has been Denise. Also, Dangerous in Love was pretty great. I hope they keep going and keep getting better!

None of the b-sides really struck me that much until you watch the performances or the dance practice and then it’s when I started to really enjoy them. Surprisingly it was actually holiday that I liked first listen compared to the others. Denise of course is that main vocal that has showed off in a lot of their songs so with recent times it’s kinda sad she will probably not come back. Hopefully, vine will give them a mini next comeback and they can try different styles.

So far none of SN’s songs have really grabbed me. Even the ones I like are kind of just okay for me. But I think the girls are really talented, so I’ll keep checking them out

Denise is in a hiatus so they don't really have like a powerhouse vocal for now, thier main vocal for now, minji is great but I think she struggles with higher ranges

I hope Denise comes back next release, and be an OT7 group now, Minji and Zuu (new members) got interesting vocals, (Minji the new main vocal, now that Denise is in hiatus).

the person whose voice you liked is their Main Vocalist Denise. Denise is American and unlike a lot of Korean-American idols she lived in the US until high school. Whereas a lot of idols were just born in America and moved to Korea when they were fairly young. Denise posted pro-BLM messages in the wake of George Floyd early last year, and her company shut down all of her social media accounts. The company also deleted almost all pictures of her from their group's social media. She was basically scrubbed from existence. Since that happened she has been on hiatus and was not in their Fire Saturday comeback. The company also waited almost a year before having a comeback. Fans don't know if she is not being allowed to participate in the group or whether she herself has decided to not participate. Denise has a huge vocal range and was insane on her King of Masked Singer appearance, she got to the 3rd round. I think her missing from the latest comeback is what lead to the kind of same level vocals in the song. They are missing a powerhouse vocalist.
