Hey PD I wanted to ask if the LOUD videos will be reuploaded or restored? It works from the eighth Episode but I would really love to watch all the episodes before too :D

Malaki.H

aww I was really excited for ep 8 but i guess we will have to wait 3 more weeks

BaoziBang

I loved the performances in the last episode but these ones just GOT me!

Man when JYP asked Daniel if Idol life suits him hits differently... Can't help but think about his past and present idols who also had/have a hard time adjusting to the kpop idol lifestyle

i really loved the way PSY set the mood for this round and the way he does things it got me much more excited for the performances too, i was happy to finally see Daniel dancing because i like him a lot and he did much better than i thought but yeah my favorite performance had to be the last one too, the energy, dance, song, rap and vocals were all amazing it really felt like a kpop song and they felt like a group and i was SO HAPPY for Gyeong Moon he is so talented and this time he finally felt alive on stage and like he was enjoying it, cant wait for the next perfomances

This ep shows PNation magic. And we can see the difference in the standards between psy and jyp. JYP was very surprised when Daniel got first place with those dance moves because he prioritize dance. But PNation gave first place to Daniel and Eunhwi the composers because he prioritize composers and rappers. And PNation really worked on the trainees confidence. Most of them were performing like they're the best in the world, even when a lot were'nt that good of dancers. And that's very important.

Daniel kinda looks like Crush ;D

I REALLY don’t think a lot of “Americans” are cut out for K-Pop or living in Korea in general. Korea focuses on a lot of things like: duty, responsibility, unity, and sacrifice. America focuses on things like: freedom, individuality, and one’s self. Neither culture are bad things but this is a very inherent problem that clashes with Americans.

the Safety Pin performance is probably my favorite performance from the first half of this show. I've been anxiously awaiting it! I remember when I first watched this, I had to add the song immediately to my Spotify playlist.

These are always 1.5 - 2hr episodes but it feels like 10mins for real. God this show is so good. I have so much respect for JYP and PSY, they are really wise and its always so nice listening to their input. But I hate that we need to wait 2 weeks :D I WANT MORE hahaha

kisa1909

I love how much you love Kyung Moon 'cause he's one of my favorites too!!!!

h

pd we have the same favourites lol. i'm rooting for gyeong moon so much!!!

onyx.

god this show is amazing, when psy called out the trainees to perform their impromptu part, i thought 'god damn pnation trainees are just on another level' because I've already seen their skills. as a dancer, i looked a little closer on daniel and eun hwi as what jyp has mentioned their talented song making skills and them dancing on stage for the first time. i would have to say that eun hwi is sharper and more stable in terms of form and posture than daniel. i guess the sandbag idea from gyeong moon really worked. also when jyp told junhyeok not to get a girlfriend, i yelled NO LET HIM GET ONE >:(

I understand it's largely a culture difference and I'll never put down the amount of work and the work ethics of Idols but to me the mindset of no dating, no personal life and putting the fans before yourself is what bothers me. I understand why some companies want it that way cause it can cut into profits but I think the mindset contributes a lot to toxic fan culture and leads some people to believe they have some ownership of their Idols and could end up leaning toward sasaeng behavior.

I'm rooting for Yoon Min ! It's true that he never gets the spotlight but he does manage to stand out in some way, even when paired up with Daniel or Jun Hyuk. It's too bad we don't get to see his feedback from JYPSY... Seems to be he's a real all rounder

im not watching this show, but i saw your comment and it caught my attention. I agree so much, and at times, it feels almost 'fake'? Like i believe that idols love their fans for the most part, but for sure a lot of them may not like majority of their fanbase (namely nct and exo, who i think do like their fans but have had so many disgusting sasaengs that i dont blame them if they don't). It also leads to the delusion that the fans are dating them basically. It's like the companies sent up the cycle of no dating culture? If they didn't have this parasocial relationship, it wouldn't have led to fans being against dating. It's too late now, though, sadly.

While I love both JYP & PSY as mentors & judges, I was tentatively on Team JYP from the start, and definitely firmly there starting w/ this episode. I don't really like any of P.Nation's artists, musically speaking, and I realized why when Psy talked about his philosophy regarding everything needing to be based in hip hop. That's what I don't vibe with, because I'm a basic bitch who loves pure bubblegum pop - and as Eric Nam has reminded me, there's nothing wrong with that. The music that comes out of JYP's company, on the whole, is much more the sound & style I prefer (hence me being a fan of 2PM, GOT7, SKZ, & Day6), so while I can respect that PSY's got a firm vision that works for him, I was truly rooting for JYP from here on out (& very glad my bias ended up on that label's team).

I love PSY/P Nation! I have already mentioned this before and now I am saying it again, because in this episode we can see exactly why! Important thing for this round is, that PSY told them he wants from all teams from both categories to be able to dance and focus on it! So it is not like in previous round, where they scored teams of Creative Music Group category based on their dancing as well and not only on their music creativity… By the way, making a cover of MAMAMOO - Hip would be nice, but PSY said they could/have to use songs, which were produced under P Nation… The mini mission or how to call it: Lee Gye Hun: Okay, I do not have much to add up. Daniel Jikal: OMFG!! MIND BLOWING! Daniel Jikal is the best rapper of this show! Koki: Koki… when he asked if he could krump for this mission, I was like: “OF COURSE YOU CAN!! YOU HAVE TO!! PLEASE!!” As you said: “He is a grown person just trapped in kid’s body” - He is like Detective Conan! But yes! I am so glad you see it as I do. I feel like it is necessary to watch LOUD to be able to understand, why is Koki different and not to be like: “OMG he is too young to be on that show or in a group”, but still many viewers of LOUD do not feel the same way for some reason… Cheon Jun Hyeok: He is a good rapper too! That surprised me a lot! Eun Hwi: Nice as always! Haruto: He showed his cocky side, although he was obviously nervous doing that, but I liked it! Lim Kyeong Mun: I do not have anything else to add up to your words, I agree. Jang Hyun Soo - I did not know he can rap this well and play with the audience like that! Also… PSY doing that part with him, that was so cool!! Lee Ye Dam: My boy! He was so… WOW! Like who is more hipper than him?? And seeing all contestants vibing with him! Just awesome! Keiju: Also really cool and confident way, how to start his performance! Creative Music Group: Countdown (First Team): Haruto shined the most. Since Do Min Kyu (the one, who wore whole dark blue clothes) was here, I would appreciate if they did something on their own. I mean like original song and since he is way more a producer than a performer, he obviously did not get praised for his dancing skill. Oh Sung Jun (your favorite one…) was good, but that is no surprise, since he is former P Nation trainee. Park Yong Geon (the last one I have not mentioned yet) is my favorite one in this team and he performed as I expected. Veteran (Second Team): This team is made of my favorite one. Daniel is in my top 3 since the first episode and then Yoon Min Cheon Jun Hyeok and Kim Dong Hyun are those favorite ones, who are right behind my top 3. That performance left me speechless. The problem with their dancing and synchronization was the fact that Daniel and Dong Hyun are bad dancers,,, so basically half of this team could not dance well enough and the second half was made of Min and Jun Hyeok, who were both trained in a label before. Yoon Min in Cube Ent and Jun Hyeok in P Nation. Since Dong Hyun only participated on this song by writing his lyrics and he did have that many lines here as other three teammates did, I understand why he was scored on the last place. Jun Hyeok and Min were just perfect! Seoul Landings (Third Team): When I saw Kang Hyun Woo and Eun Hwi being put into one team, I immediately thought this song will be lit as hell! And I was correct! Kang Hyun Woo produced Coin in previous round. His theme had the cowboy theme. I feel like you know the rest, maybe Lee Soo Jae… well, he is the “fourth one here”, I do not know, how to remind him. I am not that much into Soo Jae, he is really good dancer, but there are way better dancers in LOUD. Actually Kang Hyun Woo is like Yoon Min. They are both excellent producers, nice rappers and singers, they make choreographies, so they are able to dance as well. But from both of them we were not able to see their audition and from Kang Hyun Woo we did not see even the second round… In general even though they do everything on 100%, unfortunately they do not get praised enough as others do. Lim Kyeong Mun finally got out of his shell! I cannot decide if I liked the second or the third team more… but for sure both of these two were better than the first one…

Lee

Rewatching LOUD again! Anyone else think the intro to YANK IT Seoul Landings team's song is the same as the intro to Stray Kid's Maniac

my first thought when i first listened to it, probably sampled right?

Ken

I keep listening to safety pin and god I really wish it was a song with promotions and a music video and everything
