I really didn't think the rest of the B-sides on this album could live up to Addicted and Bewitched.

But man was I wrong.

Interesting you talk about visual image for Moonlight when it actually has an animated MV for it... Perhaps you could check it out?

I love Temptation, but their first EP "Fairy forest : Bravery" is even better than Temptation. Bravery is one of my favorite albums this year. It is amazing and insane that their discography is in-house production from a brand new company

I think it's so interesting how music impacts us all differently. I definitely agree with you about the phonetics of swallowed vs 삼켜. However, for me the rest of the English version of the song makes up for it. There are too many parts in the English version that are too perfect to pass up. "Feeling alright on the clouds we are walking" (as they do the leg move in the choreo), "Under my skin you crawl", "Smile with the pain, take me there", etc. I think it's because usually, I don't really connect with pop lyrics. I don't really care what they're saying. But Bewitched lyrics actually have a lot of visual imagery, and understanding the lyrics actually does add depth to the listening experience for me personally. Just my thought. Obviously the fact that I'm not a fluent Korean speaker makes a difference, but hey, it's actually rare for me to prefer an English version of a kpop song so I don't think it's just that. Like, the English version of Moonlight is just okay for me.

Fire album, the songs are all bops. However, I prefer the English version very slightly over the Korean version. But I am just an English speaker so... :)

Pixy have worked with the same in-house producers for their entire discography, and you can really tell how beneficial it's been from their growth and the way they've carved out a distinct sound for themselves in just 10 months. I wasn't 100% sold on "Wings", but the potential it showed intrigued me so much and I really feel like Temptation fulfilled on it. Would love if you did a LP for their first MINI album "Bravery" in the future.

It was originally a toss up between Purple Kiss and Pixy but ever since this comeback and EP, Pixy have firmly established themselves as my favourite new group of 2021. They're also the only group that have managed to get me to listen to their instrumental versions in full, that's how good their music is. Bewitched's instrumental even got on my EDM playlist. Btw, does the bassline of Bewitched remind anyone else of other songs too? Revenger by F.O.O.L sounds quite similar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uF8HSChpvCs But I'm sure I've heard at least one more song that also sounds like this. Does anyone have any ideas?

Pixy really caught my eye with their debut, and then during the Let Me Know comeback I listened to the b-sides and I was completely sold. This time too, I loved all the songs, and Bewitched is a definite favorite. And I had such a fun time just watching you vibe to the songs, PD, thank you for this listening party!

Amazing EP btw! I didn't like Pixy's debut with Wings, but this comeback and album made me love them and I'm so excited for their future!

Pixy has very quickly become a top fav new girl group for me, and this EP is AMAZING i listen to it on the regular! And I knew that coz PD LOVES Addicted and Bewitched, that they would LOVE the rest of the songs too!

Just a small correction, you read two producers as they were from Party In My Pool. Just wanted to note that they changed names to D_answer for the first mini, as I probably figure having the acronym PIMP and being in charge of a girl group was not a good look.

Wonderful listening party! I’m so glad you took the time to do this. … I’ve seen comments online talking about how Bewitched was [allegedly] written with English text first and the producers preferred the sound of that version, which led to them shooting the MV with that track (although I have yet to find an official source for reference). But either way, the overall musical composition and execution of both EPs Bravery and Temptation has cemented PIXY as a k-pop juggernaut for me. You should check out the dance feature to their song The Moon from Bravery, I think it is a great companion piece to Moonlight and the choreography is pretty much on par with what you were suggesting. It’s actually very Michael Jackson-esq, which is the closest comparison that I’ve found to a lot of PIXY’s overall feel and look.

if you haven't already, i HIGHLY recommend listening to their previous EP, Bravery (Let Me Know era), it truly blew me away. It's absolutely fantastic I think you would love it.

I become a Pixy's fan when Addicted then Bewitched were released! I enjoy all the songs but Addicted makes me give more attention to Pixy, i love so much Addicted, my favorite song! I love Bewitched too but i prefer the korean version because of what you said, the samkyeo is so good specially when Lola did it and i was impressed by the quality of the mv of Addicted and Bewitched! I love Addicted instrumental and i don't agree with you Bewitched's instrumental is so necessary, i heard sounds that i didn't hear when they sing. For example, the clock sound and the VHS sound make it more creepier but at the same time it's not too creepy with funky pop! Like you who didn't hear the piano in Sua's part.

Allart their agency release the mv of Moonlight eng version and it's all in animation in futuristic retro vibe with a story too, they steal a diamond and Allart release a mv for Still with me! iI was so impressed by the budget Allart their agency put in Addicted's mv, outfit, make-up, dance and in Bewitched's mv and dance and then i wasn't necessary but they released Moonlight's mv in animation with an animator and we saw who is the animator creator of this mv that is so good too! And they released Stay with me's mv and they showed in this mv Ella played piano, when they practiced dance together and they show Lola's injury in her leg and when Dia cried, the member recomforted her specially Ella! Stay with me the chorus reminds me of See you again de Wix Khalifa but not the same song. Stay with me is so cheerful, warmful and we can see how hard they go through and i become a Pixy's fan with Temptation album which is so perfect to me! Ah and i want to add too that I prefer Addicted as a song but Bewitched is a so good producing material to analyse a song, the creativity of Bewitched with the voice effects and in the instrumental the sound effects like clock sound and vhs's sound wow!

I do admit the Korean version of Betwitched was better. English, some of the pronunciations threw me off and I hyper focused too much on some of the words. It was mainly the belting in the prechorus before the last chorus. "Let me inside" didn't work there sung in english phonetically. For moonlight, this will always be an English song for me.
