Regarding the asthma and the inhaler, my sister has asthma and has had asthma attacks so bad that she nearly died - and this is in a normal environment. Since the environment of the drama is so dangerous, it is much more likely for her to have an attack and an inhaler is something that can keep her from getting that bad.

In an environment like this, its easier to get an asthma attack. An if you dont have medication it could have some consequenses

I can elaborate as a person with undetectable chronic asthma. It differs depending on the kind of asthma and how severe, but essentially your lungs never work at full capacity, meaning any sort of laborious activity is much harder to do because the body is not supplied with enough oxygen to power your muscles. Furthermore, laborous breathing can also induce asthma attacks in which your lungs start to become inflamed and close up, further making it harder to breathe than it already is and harder to do physically straining things. Her inhaler is probably a rescue inhaler intended to open up her airways during an asthma attack, but they can also be used before any strenuous activity to help your lungs work a bit better during the activity. It's not like she'll die if she runs out of her inhaler, but that if she doesn't have any left when she does need it to save her life, then she could die from an asthma attack.

"can people help please" literally me every time i re-watch this show 😂 like it really annoyed me how the side characters acted. especially the dudes they we soft and no help at all (minus big bro, our "thug guy", sword guy, our wheelchair guy, grandpa and obviously song kang (main character)) like they way they just never tried to help hyunsoo anytime he was fighting a monster, or make sure he was okay just because he is a monster himself always pissed me off. like they just stand there looking anytime he has trouble lol. i can feel the same about there not being much to the characters. and i agree this isn't a show that is like crazy good or crazy bad its a bit basic but i still enjoyed it. but i also like how little the let us as viewers know in this show. even with the flashbacks, like you said they don't do anything and at times don't even answer any questions we may have. they way they save everything so late in the episode's makes me think season 2 is when everything really gets unloaded, i cant wait.

I personally really like how little you know about the characters at this Point. I enjoy it when shows just throw you into a scenario and you just have to live with it 🤣

I feel like lots of the Korean drama's are mentioning of these school violence things,,,They are actually serious in Korea... And I think that's why these dramas and Koreans are always aware of it and sensitive about this.I don’t think that this episode was just trying to make this dramatic, I think they wanted to show how a person can change after he got through all these.

I know this drama was based on cartoon and situations and the characters are not realistic, but I think they show our deep reality by making it not realistic.

yeah for sure, school violence is a very common thing in both Korean Dramas and manwha and is very serious, I don't think they were trying to make it dramatic at all. When I got to this part in the show I thought it really gave insight into how Hyunsoo became who he is

I've red the webtoon before the show started and let me tell you. If they kept to the original story this show would be 50 episodes long. The original had deeper divings in the creatures back stories and why they became like that, the gangster guy was funny and not an indistructable mashine, main character had inner fights with his ''monster inside'' and other people actualy had roles and character. Not spoiling, but the ending was also the most epic thing ive seen in webtoons. When i watched the show it felt extremely rushed, a lot of the things i liked in the webtoon were not even in the show. I guess they tried to fit in as much as they could in limited episode frame, but yeah, the show disapointed me. And I had high expectasions after reading the webtoon. Highly recomend reading it for yourself,

not done with this episode yet, but quick explanation: asthma is basically your lungs swelling up (all the little cavities the air should get into just get tighter) and it can just be constant, come in attacks, or both. so like blaire said, if that girl has to fight/ exercise (maybe also some allergies that make it worse) etc and doesnt have an inhaler she could absolutely die, because her lungs dont let in enough air. (coming from someone who has had severe asthma since childhood and probably wouldnt survive in a zombie apocalypse without my meds.)
