So Hwiyoung has actually acted before this. Mostly short web dramas though. I've yet to see him play characters that are drastically different from each other (quiet and intense) and Hyun isn't necessarily that different either.

Honestly the boycott scene with what, 12 sasaengs???? protesting reminds me of the comically small boycott session from when Chen revealed that he was getting married and having a kid, hilariously stupid and so incredibly entitled.

If you haven't noticed, the PD with glasses is Cho Jung Chi, famous Indie-Pop singer and actor (famous in WGM), and the designer is RAINBOW Ji Sook. Hwi Young last acting gig was a web drama with (G) I-DLE Miyeon.

i think people just shouldn't take it so seriously, have fun with it, treat it as a light watch like I did, and I enjoyed the show, it's just a solid 6.5 or 7/10. Nevertheless, I do enjoy your reaction to this show

That’s where the show trips me up! It starts out SO serious and it takes it self so seriously and then it’s randomly goofy

yeah I'm really starting to enjoy this show just for the silly moments and cliches like that hallway scene at the recording studio. This show has a lot of really awkward writing and pacing, and it's honestly refreshing for some reason

The Call Me slander 😤😤😤 Lmao but for real, there's something addicting about the original song, in all it's simple strangely-dated glory. I replayed it constantly for about a week. I loved Show Me as well, but the talk-singing downgrades it for me a bit. And both songs have cheesy lyrics so I disregard that part entirely haha. If you actually listened to both songs in full(all the in-show songs are available for streaming), you can hear how Show Me evolved from Call Me, actually the top line is the part that connects them, you can hear the similarities between the tracks. And ohhh,,, Diamond. Oh boy. Well, thank God they MEANT for that song to be bad because oh my god-- Edit: Also, the twin sounds of disgust/disappointment you guys both had at Sparkling hitting the Woah at the end, lmaoo

It’s crazy that they pretty much cast him to play a dramatic version of his own story. At least there’s uncanny similarities. It’s cool but also really sad and I hope more opportunities open up for him after this show. I REALLY liked Boys Republic, their b-sides were fire!

I just love how half of the fandom defends Diamond song saying it's supposed to be a flop and the other half just has Stockholm syndrome and genuinely thinks its a good song.
